It's a long weekend here in Ireland as well; although we tend to refer to them as bank holiday weekends. I'm sure it was nice for all the schoolkids and working folk to get the extra day off. But, being retired myself now, the days can often just run into each other for me. Sometimes I don't even realise it's a bank holiday at all. Well not unless I actually need to get into a bank! ;) 

This particular bank holiday hasn't been all that good at all, as far as the weather has been concerned, here in Ireland, though. I'm almost tempted to say that the weather has just been shitty here these past three days; but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use such a word as that in here. But I imagine there's been a lot of dissatisfied holiday makers here in Ireland this weekend.

I don't add anything when I drink tea.  I prefer the natural flavors.  Although I'm not averse to adding some honey.  :)

It’s been interesting. I have read soooooooo much and guess what the academic literature is just a big a rabbit hole as the rest of the Internet :yes:

I had an essay to write that was supposed to discuss about 15 journal articles, I stopped collecting when I had 80. Oh that’s interesting, hmmm what’s that about, oh yes I will include.... my list of references was longer than the essay was supposed to be :rofl:

I'm the same with tea. And with coffee.

And I love honey, but wouldn't dream of adding it to tea.

To coffee, maybe.... :unsure2:

Honey and coffee doesn't sound appealing to me :puke: I do like flavoring in my coffee, especially mocha, and cream.  I don't like it too sweet though.  I had a caramel macchiato this weekend that was a sugar bomb :puke:  I couldn't even finish it.

I'm type 2 diabetic, so just have to be careful not to let my blood sugar level get too high.

I totally understand.  I've significantly cut back on my carbs and sugar intake.  I'm pretty sure Tim Hortons uses artificial sweeteners in their flavored coffees.  I'm not a fan of those, either, but right now, that's how I drink my coffee.  That will change once I get into a different breakfast routine. :)

Good Monday? Not sure... had to rescue four kittens from the window well... one of the five died, so I had to move the rest. Not as easy as it sounds but the four are safely in the barn, and the fifth is buried. Hope you had a great day, B. :hug:
