Keep'm coming, DK... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In checking to be sure the edited chapter got posted {sorry DK, just wanted to be sure...}, I discovered a typo that I introduced in this chapter - desovled should've been dissolved *sigh* figured I'd get it out of the way before CJ ragged on me about this - and to be fair to DK, it was my typo, not his.

I really loved the "there goes the swimming pool" line! (uhoh, Emoe, we agree on something! ) I wonder how badly the Adamant is damaged? It's still toe-to-toe with cruisers. Hmmm, they have (I think) the velocity, so I wonder if they will escape by jumping? Though, they are damaged... Vic, I know exactly what you mean about that scroll bar! I hate that thing when reading one of DK's chapters! I've often said that the one thing I hate about DK's chapters is that they end. Thank you DK and EMoe for an absolutely awesome chapter, complete with a diabolical cliffie!

The only way to get 200 chapters out of this book would be for DK to spend time in each chapter on Garret's daily hygiene. Or maybe he could extend the chapter count by alternating current storyline chapters with flashback chapters to the mundane daily activities of his life at the G&E, eventually covering his transition into the Lars home and culminating at the Academy.
