Most all of my teachers were born early in the last century, and they certainly acted like it. Assume most are dead by now. And they would not last long in the current social/political climate.

Great danger ahead. We often see what happens when a person tries to break away from an abusive partner. -
I know it happens, I've seen it in my own family. I cannot understand why an otherwise intelligent person chooses to stay in a toxic, violent relationship.

I was at the DMV waiting patiently and I needed to fill out a form and wanted a solid surface to write on. I went to an empty counter space at a closed window away from anyone A security guard came up and told me I could not stand at a closed window and I should "sit down and wait, like everybody else". I stared him down and he walked away. It helped that I was six inches taller and fifty pounds heavier than the little weasel. -
I know he has rationalised the workplace relationships situation, the problem there is if someone decides to cause trouble the spin they can put on such things makes it very bloody difficult for those concerned..... he needs to be careful. Office romance can often lead to real problems. (Speaking for a friend.)
