    Chapter 1

I really like how you used the words to express the the coming of love and gone. I feel a bit of personification is somewhere, but I couldn't quite pinpoint what, but beautiful imagery. It's a very good poem, Layla.

    A Storm of Problems

Nice. Love how the beginnings and ends of the sentence connect. Hope you have been made stronger with past experience.

    Mark

Repeated in vain sounds like the tear dropped three times. Whoever Mark is, he probably wants you to move on. Nice poem.

    Anthology Poem One

A little food of love will warm the soul. Those words are nice foods for thought. Great one, Mr. Foster.

The arrangement of words looks like a spear head. Piercing through the dragon.

    Chapter 1

The fire met its nemesis, but I also see it as a love story. Very nice.
  17. Figured.... So now the standing is? I'll do it. Western Conference: Central: Minnesota Wild vs Chicago Blackhawks Pacific: LA Kings vs Anaheim Ducks Eastern Conference: Atlantic: Boston Bruins vs Montreal Canadiens Metro: NY Rangers vs Pittsburgh Penguins The only upset I would say is Avalanche's lost to Minnesota.... The others are not really surprises. I voted before my research, so I sort of predicted Rangers probably will triumph over Philadelphia already, and same goes to Blackhawks over Blues. Given the direction SJ coach did which goes against Sharks players' general sentiment, I thought it was a major morale hit at Game 6 by pulling off Nemo..., so I sort of feared my home team might not able to pull it, if they couldn't play with level heads at Game 7.... Oh well. Maybe next season. We do have a strong line up of players.

    PSA's

Well, the reason why breast cancer gets most spotlight is because it's the closest one we have come to finding the cure. They just need funding to push it through. Once it's done, we can move on to another cancer and help more people.
  19. :sighs: I thought San Jose's fight was going to be a little easier, but I guess LA Kings have always been SJ Shark's worst enemy.... Next game is at LA Kings.... I would bet on the 7th game.
  20. Foopy Love your poem. Glad I am your friend.
  21. I don't know why people think I am gay just because I write gay stories.... Why so many labels?
  22. I am not answering the original question, which is just tabloid material. At most, it's just Harry Style being Harry Style. End of discussion. On the other hand, the Mapplethorpe discussion is more intellectually stimulating. I've been a few of Mapplethorpe's work, though I must say our local museum wasn't focusing on the erotic portion of his artwork in that special exhibition, but they also showed some photos from that genre (it was the most famous portion of his work after all). Given that, I think Mapplethorpe himself did say he was curious about the underground aspect of S&M culture. And does that really equal that Mapplethorpe's artwork is "gay?" I personally don't think so. His work is really an inquiry of human sexual behavior, rather than homosexuality specifically. Yes, some of them can be homoerotic, if the viewer thinks it that way.
  23. Eastern Conference Quarterfinal Winners Boston, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Philadelphia Western Conference Quarterfinal Winners Anaheim, Colorado, San Jose, St. Louis Eastern Conference Semifinal Winners Boston, Montreal Western Conference Semifinal Winners San Jose, Anaheim Stanley Cup Boston, San Jose Stanley Cup Champions San Jose Knowing we've never won Stanley Cup (even a non-sportsman like me would know if we won, as the downtown probably would roar and flip. San Francisco was so cheery when Giants won World Series), the chance is small (but there), but hey..., if we won, I'd buy you a drink. Sharks are pretty high ranking in NHL (higher rank than LA Kings, though we've lost to them before..., though I dare you to come and say good things about LA Kings in Shark Territory. ). Our team's goalie is a Finn: Antti Niemi from Vantaa Finland. Come Thorn, join San Jose in the sunny California and ditch the dark side that is Boston. Though I like our old logo better, but here: GO SHARKS! EDIT: Can't believe I was actually checking scores. But it seems Detroit destroyed you guys yesterday. Man, your pee wee is mine this year.
  24. I have no idea how this works, but I'll pick San Jose Sharks anyways... (not really a sport person). I like San Jose, and my ex is a rabid Sharks fan, so I have no other choice other than GO SHARKS! *makes awkward hand gesture* Los Angles Kings. Pfff.... How could you pick them over Sharks?!? I thought you had my respect.
