Aww I was hoping you would have taken me to see it with you I wanted to buy you popcorn.
  5. Should this really be any different than only having 6 weeks or 6 years? What about 1 lifetime? I think our now inherently lazy society is being driven by a sense of immediacy. Think about our daily procrastinations of work, meeting of deadlines, or last-minute to-dos. Unless something requires our immediate attention, we tend to put it off. Same with life, evident by our fascination with a hypothetical count-down which is the only thing that'll cause us to spontaneously revel in our now short lives. Isn't it kinda disappointing that we can't live each day of our lives like it is the last? But to answer your question, I don't know what I would do with only 6 months to live. Travel around the world? Not likely. If I had really wanted to, I'd have done so already, and it's not as if I'll regret not having seen Vatican City when I'm dead. Most likely, I'll stop working out so damn much and start indulging in more pleasurable activities (like eating) and other things I wouldn't want to pursue while still having a lifetime to live. Like snorting coke everyday or never using another condom. I'll also stay in school before I like it here but I'll stop doing homework. Other than that...it's time to go coffin hunting! I ain't gonna get buried in something crappy.
  6. I pick good looking twice....can I do that? yes? yes? Ok!
  7. I love instrumental tunes, especially piano arrangements. Usually with movies, I buy/download the score before the soundtrack. Here are a few of my favorites: CalikoKat from Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrY5EwPx648 This is a guy who has done piano renditions of hundreds of tunes, varying from popular songs to old classics. I like the smooth classic feel the piano gives to otherwise lyrical songs. I encourage you to check him out if you like this sorta stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLnZ5jcsRpc One of the most powerful and evocative symphony arrangements I've ever heard. The tune is originally from the video game Final Fantasy X.

  9. Yup, the sacred constitution of men. All rushees are required to know this by heart and recite on demand. Violators will be neutered
  10. No, usually varsity and JV spots are allocated by skill not age. A freshman can be on Varsity if he is good enough and a senior can still be on JV. There simply aren't enough swimmers in school for 3 different teams. It's not that popular of a sport, unfortunately. Practices and schedules vary from school to school, but meets are unanimously structured within the state. Depending on how good you wanna make your swimmer boy, you might wanna know about club swimming outside high school since most "good" HS swimmers also swim club...or maybe I should say, usually only club swimmers are good enough to make Varsity depending on the competitiveness of the school district. It should be year round with summer being a good practice time.
  11. I'll give you my side 1) Practices were everyday before/after school, either one, not both. Usually Varsity was before and JV after. There was no such thing as a freshman team for us. If you were good enough, you can be on Varsity as a freshman, if not, you're JV. Most varsity swimmers also swim in local clubs, they have daily practices as well...so for some of those people, they get up at 5 in the morning, swam club for 2 hours and swim at school for another 2...I didn't do that though, not dedicated enough to the sport. 2) HS meets are usually one every 1-2 months. School invitational, city championships, etc. Then there are regionals and nationals coming in the spring. Varsity compete more than JV just because they are better. Clubs host meets just as frequently. They can be held at different schools or the swimmer's own school depending on the meet and who is hosting it. Nationals are usually held away at a university swim center, maybe at the state capital. 3) Yes, boys and girls are together. It's a co-ed sport, but obviously boys and girls compete separately. 4) We had about 2 hours of pool time per day (Friday's were shorter), and twice a week we'd be in the weight room or track in the mornings, after that we'd still swim, but not as long.
  12. Ohhh yeaah .... One of the stories that I followed closely stopped mid-story and didn't continue like 2 years
  13. Happy birthday Johnnyboy!
  14. Best part of 2009 are prolly the parts I can't remember Cuz if I remembered it, then I must not have been havin' a good time
  15. Yes yes, a plague o' the homophobes! Nah, I'll resist the temptation to despise her for just this reason. Sure people like her have some backwards thinking, but I shouldn't readily return antipathy for people I don't know.
  16. Great picture, Matty.
  17. Happy birthday...I have a platter of spamloaf for you
  18. By wanting to "sell" your gaydar for the reasons you advertised, you are implying that people who you are not physically attracted to are not worth finding, and therefore you have no desire to seek them out, and conversely are even suggesting you are so adversed by their presence in your life that you no longer wish to further encounter any in kind. Ergo, this entire entry could easily have been summed up by the mere sentence "Unattractive people have no value to me." I recommend Humanity for Dummies

Tonight's the season finale, and I know many of you are watching.
  20. It's funny how much people fret over pictures of themselves. I mean, people who know you or have seen you already know what you look like. One bad picture, or inversely, one great picture will not change anyone's perception of you. It's why I love taking random picture of people on my phone and tagging them on Facebook....I find it endlessly hilarious when people go "This is SICK of me!!", "Grossssss", or "Taking this off pleaasse!!!" and untag themselves
  21. Glad to hear you're enjoying it here, seems like you're off to a good start. Now, onward! There is work to be done!
  22. Not in order but... 1) Home alone 2) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 3) The Santa Clause 4) A Charlie Brown Christmas 5) Can't think of any more that I really liked equally to the above
  23. So what are the rest of us ugly folks suppose to do?
  24. My dad and I plan it out every year and hit the routes like madmen. We gotz our eyez on a new 52" Sony LCD....and maybe some furniture. Best Buy didn't seem to have many good deal this year but maybe it varies by location. And Smarties is right...Black Friday sales make people buy more than they need. You end up with goodies that you think you've gotten great deals on, when you wouldn't even have thought to make those purchases in the first place....but what the hoot, it's not a bad thing to want/have things = )
  25. My future wife...(not really, but we'd make a sick couple) (Many half-Asian/half Caucasian girls are absolutely gorgeous)
