I think there has always been a correlation between sex and the level of freedom in a society. But the biggest factor I think is disease. Monogamy stops the spread of disease. Monogamy was the only way to stop the spread of disease in the past.

Hi Mark, Hi everyone. I have two identities. Deadsnake and Bugeye. Everyone here has an assumed identity or an avatar. You Mark are a tiger. But in real life I doubt you look must like a tiger. Does that make you a fraud? Do you guys feel like frauds because you all use assumed names? I started out as Bugeye because I wanted to try to write a story. It is very satisfying to write. I enjoy it alot, whether I write well is another issue. At the suggestion of a friend I joined the forum as Deadsnake. I picked that name because I couldn't kill a snake in my garden. And when I would see him I would call him Deadsnake. It was just chance that I picked that name. I was scared to death about saying I was a writer. I am a avid reader. So I didn't tell about the writing. Sorry if you think I was trying to deceive you, I wasn't. I was too nervous to even think along those lines. I have tried to be a good member of GA. I have learned a lot here already. More it seems than I have ever learned in my life. How to take a risk and say hello to a stranger. How to tell someone I like them and their comments. I am sixty years old. It says so on my page. I have posted four pictures of myself. One as a baby, two as a young man and one at I think fifty-four. I have had a full life. I have never told anyone here I was a young man to deceive them. I have never tried to deliberately hurt any one and cause any division among the members of GA. I'm here because I really want to be here and share in what GA has to offer all of us. I would talk to any of you who need me to explain or answer a question about my actions here at GA. Sam

Like gmendias, as a child going barefoot was the norm in warm weather. Used to like going barefoot at the beach, but now always wear surf slip ons. I read a story once about barefoot fetishes. I wear socks without shoes alot in my home. It keeps the floor clean.

You own twelve pairs of glasses. Each strategically located for instant excess thruout your personal space. Oh the important part, you keep a map of their location in your wallet with other important documents.

A pair of weejuns with no socks for casual dressup. Always thought that was a good look for guys. I have about fifty pair of weejuns, huh?

Hi, welcome back from your hiatus. I am Sam. New guy.

When I wrote my first story, I too discovered the count by chapter page. It freaked me out. Every one seemed to stop at the first chapter. I almost didn't write another chapter. But I am glad I did. The writing is a great outlet, emotionally and creatively and I laugh alot at my own stories. So for me it is a win situation. I don't watch the numbers any more. But I do like the reviews, inflated as they are.

I like the mystery both stories have. Neither is the whole story. Just enough though to tease. Is that you coming thru? I enjoyed both and will watch for more.

Thanksgiving has always been about cooking and cooking and cooking and then about eating and eating and eating. Afterwards some get to wash dishes and some get to pass out in front of the best football game they ever slept thru. Christmas is the same plus presents. Church is in the picture for some. There is love in there too. And usually some hurt feelings.

I type because it is so easy to delete it. I do write down notes though and find them later after first losing them.

I wonder what the hens look like?

I made a standing offer. I meant it. Here's to many years more at GA.

I want to say you can cook for me anytime. But I will settle for more recipes. It could be GA's version of Hell's Kitchen.
