Yes, at times. If I'm sick and when I was pregnant I would even wake myself up snoring. Then again, I had a stuffy nose the whole 9 months so that stands to reason, lol. Are you cuckoo for cocoa puffs?

LOL! I was wondering if anyone would point that out. That was really fun for me, a whole different take on the theme. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the story too, thanks for reviewing!!

Personal Questions
Cia commented on Jason Rimbaud's blog entry in Wry Wrambling of a Rebellious Rimbaud
Several things made me nod, some made me laugh, some made me frown. I felt like we got to know you better but then you said that honesty scared you... so are you frightened by posting these answers or did you BS us? Oh, and dude, you called me a 'them'! Married, kids... check and double check. That makes me a them? *waaaaah* Do I need a cootie shot to rid me of my apparently bothersome pod person normalcy? You know, so I can be better than a 'them'? -
Truthfully? Just about every day, sometimes more What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?

This totally campy movie called Surf Ninjas. Every time my bff and I got together in our teenage years we watched that movie. It's hilarious and there are a few shirtless shots of the teenage guy we loved to drool over. The only person who became a well known actor is Rob Schneider but we love it anyway. I recently found it on tv and dvr'ed it. She's coming over tomorrow and we're doing a movie marathon, starting with that. It's just one of a million memories we've made since we were 6 and became friends but I never want to lose how some of them make me feel, like watching that campy movie does. How many siblings do you have and are you friends with them?

Not even hetero people find love easily. My sister was 27 before she met her husband. She was in the Navy, worked as a waitress, is a social butterly and dated like crazy, but... didn't find that special someone. Not til she was stationed in Italy and started playing softball in the local naval league. He played on the guys team, she played the girl. They did a lot of weekend tournaments with camping and stuff, started as friends and when he got divorced, they started dating. They've been married almost 5 years now. When I met my hubby he was roomates with my also 16 year old best friend's boyfriend who was also 19/20. They are married too, btw, though their journey was quite different from ours. Honestly, you just never know when you will meet someone. As others have said, you just have to be open to finding people, as friends and lovers.

Thank you Kiltie. I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

I'm not experienced at this; typically I tend to telegraph what is going to happen in my stories. That is the biggest challenge in a mystery story; adding enough clues for the readers to actually understand what happens at the end, getting that 'AHA!' moment. And of course the red herring is essential plot device. Hopefully another mentor or mentee can help you out. Good luck on your writing!

I did have something like that; though in my case I'm a woman and I ended up meeting a man. I was 16, he was 20. Yes, we did like each other at first sight, started dating while I finished high school, lived together, got married, had kids, and are still together... oh 14 plus years later. So yes, it can happen. I think that gender doesn't have as much to do with it as just finding the right person. It's not easy to keep it going, but that moment of attraction at first sight, the knowing that the person you meet could be just right for you. Yes, it exists. Then again, I didn't have too much trouble finding girls to be with back before I met my hubby either. I'm not naive; I don't think being gay and finding a partner is easy. It's not for everyone. I live in a pretty liberal area so I'm lucky. Life isn't always the same as a romance novel but; sometimes, just sometimes it can be. I think giving up hope of finding that person where you have that feeling, that moment of connection and spark when you have that first kiss, would be a shame.

I have. My cousin is a Marine and was in Afghanistan and Iraq. My brother in law was over near China when we had issues with them a few years back with the Navy and my sister was in the Navy too before she got out when she had kids. She wasn't 'overseas' at the time, but her aircraft carrier group was sent to New York after the attack on 9/11. Frankly, it's scary as hell but I'm proud that they are doing what they consider/considered their duty. I don't necessarily support the US being in some of the engagements but I will always support and respect the men and women on the ground, sea, and air that are just trying to do what they feel they must. They deserve it for putting their lives at risk. Have you ever faked sleep to get out of having sex?
-
Okay, two 13 year old boys who have been inseperable all their lives are gay and together. Their parents are okay with it, their close friends are as well. So... where are you going with this? The story is in process so you have more to come, which is good. The story is well written, you have good flow but there are a LOT of teenage coming out stories. You really have to work to make them different. Engaging characters, a dramatic arc... something. I usually wouldn't touch a story with such young characters but you had the no sex tag which reassured me I wouldn't be visted with things I don't want to imagine so I read this. I'm glad I did, I like the way you wrote Kyle and Kodi's characters so far. Just remember, they're 13. Boys that age are not often very mature and they have a lot of hormones and growing up to do in a few short teenage years. Keep them in character for their ages, don't make them insanely mature all the time or it just won't be believable. Chapter 1 down... we have the character background and know who most of them are. On with the story, post Chapter 2 soon!

Lemme rephrase then, if you want to know what I meant by 'legal'. As long as an adult is not having sex with a kid, a person who doesn't want to be their partner or to perform the acts involved... then have fun with it. Whether you are the top, bottom or the filling in between... sex should be a good part of life. As long as your happy with yours, then yay! If not, you can just try and try again til you get it right.

Ahh... black cherry lowfat yogurt. Mmmm... my fav! What was the last story you read that turned you on and made you take a break to... you know

Oh, I'd want to be like Aquaman and be able to breath underwater and talk to animals and stuff. I've always been fascinated with undersea creatures (or underlake, underriver, LOL) and I love to swim. I'm dive certified but to be unencumbered under the ocean, to be able to really exist in the watery environment would be so cool. Plus he had like infravision and cold resistance so I could go explore the depths of the Marianas Trench and see things no one else has ever seen! New Years is coming... do you make a resolution and will you try to keep it?

I once got a white chameleon with desert style black designs etched into it. I guess you are supposed to put it on the wall or something. It went in my closet for 3 years. 3. Then I went to a 'white' Christmas party where the gift was supposed to be something white. Viola... I pull out the ugly lizard, wrap it and the person who got it had that kind of decor and loved it! So... anyway, you never know when hideous gifts will make a great re-gift and make someone's day. Other than that; I'm glad you had a decent holiday and woohoo for you finishing Accidents Happen. I've been waiting to finish reading it, sorry for not keeping up, and can't wait!

I know, I know!!! Too short! There will be more to come soon, thanks so much for reading and reviewing! Thanks for always commenting, you are my most loyal reader and commenter!

Well I won't have a new chapter as a Christmas gift but I'll return the sentiment! I hope you have a merry Christmas as well. I don't think this was so much a cliffhanger as a nice dramatic break. LOL I would never use such a dastardly writing device as a cliffhanger. So much to learn about Isiah, Ahsran, Dav and Ellis. The true test of them is yet to come!

I love it when readers catch the hints I leave! I'm not a giant one for small mysteries through the story that give you aha moments in the end but I do like to sprinkle a few indicators through if I'm going to write a big scene. Thanks for the review!!
-
Thanks Rik! Sorry for the shortness, lol. I just can't seem to get the events into the chapters in a different length. Things will be moving along very quickly after this... so hold tight, it will only get more dramatic! Thanks so much for talking up my stories to your friends, that is a huge compliment!
-
I think the length mostly goes to the lack of time that flowed through the chapter. It was only a few hours overall and I think that's what makes you feel it was shorter than usual. It took a bit to get this ready, holiday, illness and all that, but I'm already working on the next chapter. I hope you'll enojoy it! Oh... and pooh on Andy and CJ. Fibbers the both of them!! CJ should be the clear winner, he's obviously the best choice!

I love sarcastic humor. Growing up my favorite characters on children's TV were the grumpy old men muppets and Oscar the Grouch. I can appreciate crass humor from time to time but I still enjoy a good sarcastic verbal exchange or vent by some of my favorite comics. I will say Jeff Dunham is freaking hilarious though. When was the last time you did a random act of kindness and what was it?

"So I can go home now?" I looked from the doctors watching me with pleased expressions to my mate. I couldn't get enough of looking at him. His yellow eyes with the black slit pupil that I thought were so sexy and the tips of his fangs dropping down when he smiled at me made me shiver. He hadn't left my sight since we realized I could see again. He'd cleaned me up, and then held me for a little while as the effects of the venom wore off. When I could, I lifted my hand and caressed his face, tra

Hmm... of course! Sex is a wonder and can do all sorts of things for a person, LOL!

Believe it or not, at one point from the age of 6 to 12, I went to church. I went on my own since my family didn't go but I met this woman there, Nora. She was the epitome of what I believe a good Christian to be. Generous, kind, devout in her beliefs... she and her husband struggled at times due to many things, including a son with cerebal palsy and a slow economy even then. Through all that she took me in like I was one of her kids; her house was always open to me, she supported me at all the 'family' events at the church where I had no one and even after I quit going and rejected the church she was still my friend and someone I could talk to and go to for support. She is why I can't believe that religious people are all the same because as many 'bad' christians I have met, she stands as a shining example of living how she believes a Christian should. I strive to meet her example, without the religious angle, all the time. What is your earliest memory?

Guilty as charged! Last year I got muffin tins and mixing bowls. The year before I received new baking sheets. Year before a bunch of speciality silicone baking pans and muffin things, year before new plateware sets... I like my kitchen stuff! Honestly, cooking, reading, and archery have been my main hobbies for a long time. Recent years added photography again and writing but I still ask and receive a lot of stuff for the kitchen.
