Chapter 21: A New Season
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 21: A New Season
Yeah please don't stay up all night to read it, there's plenty of time later - I liked this chapter for many reasons but the end was one of em. -
Chapter 12: A Little Freedom is a Good Thing?
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 12: A Little Freedom is a Good Thing?
Jordan's issue in my mind is not so much Jason was gay as much as what Darryl said - he only wants to be with people who make him look better. Trashing Jason makes him look better but that's not to say he doesn't dislike gay people either - but I'll just stop there -
Chapter 11: A Week is Not Enough
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 11: A Week is Not Enough
Agreed - I wanted him - the best friend to be a good guy, not gay and that OMG you are too and I've loved you forever too - kinda best friend but just a good decent guy who doesn't give a turn if his best friend is gay. -
Several Random thoughts I loved the woman who was waving the flag I wonder what people were thinking when some one strapped on a big old bass drum or a sousa phone and marched into the store Whoever filmed this did a great job off piecing together the various film feeds and keeping it in time with the music And - I wonder how much stuff got stolen when everyone was in front watching the distraction. Bet it was a shop lifters wet dream come true. LOL

Not sure I got kicked out when I was 30 and never looked back. Actually I met Mike when I was 30 and never wanted to go back. But so as to be not The graying of the gay population is something that's been talked about and written about for a time, but it's not until some entity like AARP - big enough to half an impact on the news - take up the issue that it gets the press it deserves. Hopefully it will help older - of which I am rapidly barreling towards - LGBT persons cope with being older. For most it is a different set of issues - no kids, no recognized spouse - so pensions might not transfer over, certainly Soc Security won't, housing etc. It's going to require different solutions than for straight gay couples and it's about time it gets some air time.

Am I the only one who remembers 'It was a Holy Day?' I mean hello! Okay that ought to get who ever didn't read Holy Day to go read it. When do I get my check, Lugh?? As for the story, Bobby is resourceful but then again one does wonder how they could 'miss' what he's doing. Perhaps someone else, oh I don't know, maybe a power hungry brother - in- law of a crown prince hell bent on seeing is own spawn on the throne type perhaps - might have his own plan in place to take Puck into custody and used Bobby to unwittingly carry it out and 'paid' the Center to 'not' find them. Just a theory, not a sermon.

Chapter 21: A New Season
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 21: A New Season
I did and do have an idea for Blake - just need the time to write it. His story won't have beat downs and coma's his will be more about his decision to come out and dealing with being gay and trying to date. But that shall have to wait for time - but I'm definitely thinking about it. -
Chapter 3: The Best Laid Plans
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 3: The Best Laid Plans
Maria you are much too kind, there are a LOT of places I could tighten up and make better - I seemed to have had a phobia about contractions in the dialogue when I wrote this. As much as I appreciate the offer - I don't seem me going back and editing this anytime soon - I've got a few things I rather work on - does that make me lazy? IF however you seem something that I consistently do - other than contractions - yes I want to know [in a PM is nice ] because that's the sort of thing I'll work on going forward. And please don't feel bad about pointing out things like this. I posted this on GA for this kinda of feed back. -
Chapter 6: Ask Me in the Morning
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 6: Ask Me in the Morning
Yeah if I had to do over, I'd break this chapter up a bit, [among other things - like edit more LOL] But I did want to show a bit more of their time together than just their bed room escapades. Glad you liked it -
Chapter 1: Goodbye
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 1: Goodbye
I won't lie and say I wasn't hoping for this response, because that was the emotion I really wanted to convey - and part of the reason I posted the what about a simple happy happy joy joy story - the other thing from this is why Will turned so completely into Gar - to avoid these feelings he couldn't let go of. To do that I needed to show the depths of his heartache - hence "Goodbye" I doubt the other 'Pieces' will be this emotional, at least I don't plan for it, but I never know what 'backstory' I see when writing future chapters. That and I promised whomever wants to write a Fan Fic piece for this, I wouldn't turn it down unless it was in conflict with the plot of Purpose - so sad could rear it's head again lol -- -- thanks so much for the review, I appreciated hearing from you. -
Chapter 1: Goodbye

Language Nephy, I'm sensitive I loved your answer - because it helps me work out what other area's are best served as back drop - I suspect Will is enough done though I do have at least one more about him but that may or may not be next. I was in a weird mood when I wrote this, I feel that there are times I write sad so much easier than happy - not exactly a great thing is it? But thank you for the feed back, I wanted to say if I can move you - I can move anyone, but I actually know better - you're heart is bigger than you let on -
Chapter 1: Goodbye
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 1: Goodbye
Thanks Connor - couple things - Will could always put it off for a time - the question was how long - as he explained to Ryan a few chapters ago - ignoring it for 2-3 usually led to maddness - so I was trying to show an episode of when he tried to ignore it and how it affected him. Only his grief allowed him to ignore it and even then it was hard and this was just a day. Somewhere - and since I said it here - I'm not giving anything away - David's was the first call he heard - I think he said somewhere that it is the only one he remembers. You're right, he did not cry out to Will, just the Purpose. Finally the parents. I just meant he listed them on the head stone - when he wrote - Son, Brother, Best Friend - i.e. he acknowledged David's parents. thanks for the comments I appreciate it. - Andy -
Wow that was a subtlely emotional chapter first Calvert came up with Somers, then Cavendish came up during dinner and at the end Travers. Poor George, learning the dangers of loving people, when they're gone you miss them, sometimes terribly. So why do I feel something is a foot and this is not some simple mission? Hmm must be the author's rep Thanks Mark.

Chapter 3: The Best Laid Plans
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 3: The Best Laid Plans
Thanks for the comments - I tried - maybe too much at times I'm told - to give things as real a feel as I could with this story. I wanted it to be as close to what would/might really happen as I could - well until I didn't. Having never been in either Jason's or Peter's position, I was wingin it on this so thanks for letting me know. Oh yeah, sadly I thought I was getting paid by the word when I wrote this - so it's a bit long - so you got a ways to go Thanks again -- -- Andy -
Chapter 1 A Chance Meeting
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 1 A Chance Meeting
I've been the subject of a few of those Missed Connections - probably the HRC button on my backpack and I take the Metro to work everyday so I figured I'd try it. Jason does have his issues with coming out to be sure, but what he does about it is going to decide his 'fate'. Thanks for the comments and for reading. -
Chapter 4: Introductions
Andrew Q Gordon commented on intune's story chapter in Chapter 4: Introductions
Interesting chapter - Why is 'Germ' so off? And Addie's gonna bring her 'friend' hmmm, wonder who that could be? Sam has this feel - I think I date him once - well not him but his type - nice guy, good heart, good person, likes things a bit on the bad boy side but isn't a thug. Yeah they're fun I do have a criticism and since reviews don't have to be all good - I'll lay it out here -- you post too slow And you had to leave us hanging there didn't you?? Good job Andy -
Chapter 1: Goodbye

Well I owe the Fan Fic Idea to you from you suggestions so it would be apt for you to be the one to write one :)As I said in the forum - I have these images of what happened in the past that just can't make it into the story without it being a billion pages long. So this was a need idea I copied from Dark and it lets me flesh out the characters in ways I can draw on later. -- -- thanks for the help with this -
Tears dripped off Will's chin, he didn't even try to stop them. One year, one long, lonely miserable year and all he had left were the tears. David, his David, the one with the beautiful eyes and ever-present smile, lay beneath his feet, resting forever. Will ignored the damp, wet dirt soaking the knees of his jeans. What did it matter? There were days he wished he died that night, so they weren't apart. "I know it's been a year, David, but it still hurts, hurts so bad I scream som

Companions to Purpose- most of these are just a scene or at most two that chronologically predate the start of Purpose. Thanks to Dark for the concept - Waylon Crossing Chronicles was the inspiration for this idea. Enjoy.

It's hard to write sad and harder to write it well - I felt bad for everyone - well everyone but Artie - oh yeah and that Jeffrey person - doesn't he know it's impolite to flirt at a funeral/requiem. Sigh. I hate sad. Nicely done - Andy

I had to giggle at the 'first' time - Sad about Emma - but I would hope this is the wake up call for the three musketeers to call in the sheriff. Wasn't there a TV show called - She's the Sheriff - think I saw it on South Park - **runs off to your tube.** Yup She's the Sheriff Okay silly me. Don't know where I get this. FYI Michael and Ryan are so cute with how clumsy they are trying to figure out their relationship. Very cute.

Uff - TR's head must be spinning them thar's a ton of stuff happening. I still think David is gay and want's him a piece of TR but I have no proof other than my inner Julie. Nice to see the old boat house again - guess Wylie got John to sell it Okay enough for today - so no begging for more yet - maybe tomorrow but probably Tuesday.
