Yay! Two updates in as many days! This was a very emotional chapter. Kevin is very insightful. I think it will help Andrew a lot, the ability to purge his sadness and anger like he did. Lifting that weight off of him. Maybe now he can slowly let David go and try to feel free once again. Great chapter Shatt3r3d! Although if it were me on that swing I woulda freaked out and most likely fallen off and into the Atlantic! lol

Hey, the chapter posted twice! I mean when the chapter was over, it was only halfway down the page and then everything that was already written was re-written. Did that make sense? Anyway....so glad this story is back! It's been awhile! I think Oscar is so sweet, wanting to help Olivia. Of course helping himself also in relation to his father. It's cute how Henry gets all jealous and shit when Jean gives Oscar attention. And Henry's so shy talking! Why is he so shy talking when he's not shy letting Jean make out with him during school? lol I would think he'd be more shy about that. Anyway, great chapter! Looking forward to the next one James!

Damn, I can't believe you left it like that! I'm dyin' to know what he saw! Hopefully he's not like in the middle of the ocean or something, like on a zip-line! lol So....Andrew is a bit of a bitch. He can be so cutting and nasty. And apparently Andrew was a bitch to David also. Kevin is only trying to get to know him better. Andrew needs to lighten up or else Kevin won't WANT to get to know him at all. Oh, I noticed a typo: when Andrew says to Kevin, "If you promise to never call me a bitch again, a fowl....." Fowl should have been spelled foul. A fowl is a chicken or game bird. I also noticed you don't like apostrophes, lol: Kevins, Andrews, its, Ill, etc. Besides that, this is a great story and I'm so glad you're back! Hopefully we won't have to wait another nine months before we find out what Andrew is gonna see. =)

I was jumping for joy when Lem figured out it was Mattie and not Ronnie on the fence! I am so glad they got together and talked things out. I'm so glad Mattie's doing ok. Of course I was heartbroken again when I found out he's going to Arizona and Lem's going to North Dakota. And also Mattie's only there for two months. How come his parents didn't visit him? Isn't that kinda strange? If God forbid something like that happened to one of my kids, I'd be camping out at the place. Ok, maybe I wouldn't be THAT bad, but still, I'd be visiting A LOT. I love Chase. She's so mature for a, what is she now, thirteen, almost fourteen? year old. Maybe one day Lem will be able to confide in her too. And of course I can see his mom's reluctance with him hanging out with Mattie again. After all, Lem's finally back on track after so many months of being just lost. She doesn't want him going into a tailspin from seeing Mattie. And of course the same with Mattie. But of course the romantic in me is screaming for joy right now that they're hanging out again. (And by hanging out again, I mean making out again) haha j/k. Ah, I feel so relieved their back to being best friends, more than best friends. Can't wait for more Dave. Excellent, excellent chapter.

So the plot thickens! Who the hell is behind all this? And why did they want Luke to take the fall for Tyler's death? And why did they choose Lucas to set David up to nail Luke? I am glad though that Drew forgave David. Although their relationship will never be the same, maybe David and Luke can works towards being best friends again. I feel so bad for Jordan. He has so many horrible memories and so much trauma he's been through w/James; it'll take quite some time before he will feel better. Hopefully the psychiatrist will help with that. Great chapter HJ! Maybe the next one will be out sooner? (hint, hint)

Chapter 20 Hello My Name is Christian Beck...
Lisa commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 20 Hello My Name is Christian Beck...
Kim, this was such a great ending to a wonderful story. You made me laugh, you made me cry, you made me go awwww throughout this wonderful journey. =) I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ava! Of course along with Ethan and Liam; I can't believe they got so old! lol You write babies as well as you write little kids. I was laughing along w/Christian with her banana smushing, giggling, grabbing her toes and putting her fingers in her mouth. You were so spot on with that. I will miss all the characters, but mainly Christian and David, and David, and David. Oh, did I mention I'll miss David? When the hell are you gonna clone him girl??? lol Can't wait for your new story! -
I was wondering what happened to this story.....glad you're back! So what is IT that Tyler was thinking of when he thought that Mark brought the sun to everything dark, something like that. What happened to Tyler? And omg, who would kill a mother? And wait, if Mark knew Scarlet (obviously) and she was pregnant with Kyle, wouldn't he have known about Sara? She would have been like nine or so. Why wouldn't he remember her? Ok, looking forward to the next installment! =)

I got chills when Gibby told Ghost Boy Tanner that he'll be the death of him and Tanner laughed and said he hoped so. Uh oh, what's gonna happen to Gibby? And why would Scott want to talk to him? Maybe to apologize for the last (and first) time they met? Now, the whole time Gibby and Tanner were making out in the library, I kept picturing someone walking by and seeing Gibby, smooching something and running his hands up and down something, and just looking really silly. lol Luckily that didn't happen. But he's still taking too many chances talking to Tanner out loud. Shit, too bad Tanner can't text; then they could text back and forth and Gibby wouldn't look like he's ready for Ozzy's Crazy Train. lol As always, can't wait for more KC! Hope you're having a GREAT vacation!
-
You're back! I was just thinking of this story the other day! Short chapter though..... I'm curious as to who Mark got for Dillon's date. And Dillon thinking he can't date anyone he doesn't know. Duh, isn't that what dating is; to get to know someone better? lol Anyway....anxiously awaiting their date! And hoping I don't have to wait two months to find out.....hint, hint.

Chapter #9 - The Mistakes we make (Cont)
Lisa commented on podiumdavis's story chapter in Chapter #9 - The Mistakes we make (Cont)
What a cold-hearted BITCH Sarah is. I am amazed at all the bigoted, stupid, uninformed people there are out there. To turn away your own children over something that they have not control over is unforgivable. Thank God they have Bill! What a great dad he is! He was really cool to let the all the boys say goodbye to their respective b/f's in private. And Kyle is lucky he has his mom. She was very supportive of him when she heard the news. But of course she already knew. These moms! My heart goes out to Kyle, who is dealing with his own issues, and Jacob who just found out what a nasty S.O.B. is mother really is. As always, looking foward to the next chapter! -
I purposely waited all weekend to read this, hoping that when I was done there'd be another chapter. Oh well. lol As usual Dave; you had me in tears. I am so proud of Lem for FINALLY opening up to Reagan. He will feel so much better once he gets everything off his chest. Jeff is a piece of work. He actually has no idea why Lem doesn't call him anymore? Wasn't it Jeff who left him eight or nine miles from home? After practically raping him? And speaking of raping; thank God Lem was there to hear Joey. He was pretty brave going in there and fighting those kids. Joey too. And Joey, amazing how everyone could see how Mattie felt about Lem, except Lem. And Brooke, she must just be book smart and not people smart. If she were people smart she would know that even if she thought Lem and Mattie had a fight, he would still miss Mattie and want to go see him. They were/are? best friends after all. How could she be so insensitive? And speaking of Mattie (again), why did Lem's dad say, "I know how much Mattie meant a lot to you." Why would he say 'meant'? Mattie is still alive, right? Shouldn't he have said 'means'? I wish my foot could culminate with her ass - the funniest line I've read in awhile! Another awesome chapter Dave. Anxiously awaiting the next installment. =)

Thanks for the explanation. Of both the town (I was thinking it was a person) and the attitude mid-westerners had of suicide. Did they think it was contagious? Well, I guess in Heather's case it was. Such a sad, sad story. I really like Reagan. I hope she can help Lem deal with his guilt like she helped Heather. I should say I hope Lem lets her help him. She can only help him if he wants to be helped and if he opens up to her. I also LOVE Mrs. Jensen. She's such a sweet little old lady. lol It was a great idea for Lem to sign the card she had for Mattie. Kinda strange to send separate cards to all family members instead of one for the family, but whatever. I hope Mattie can get a message to Lem. Well, I got spoiled with these two chapters pretty much back to back. Now it's back to waiting and refreshing my browser every half an hour. lol Especially around 12:30 - 1:30 a.m. EST; the time you usually update. lol Oh, one little typo I saw: when Mrs. Jensen was talking to Lem, I don't remember about what, but she said deer as in the animal and it was written dear. Can't wait for more! This has got to be one of my top favorite stories on here. =)

I was so excited to see not one but two updates w/in a day of each other! The title of the chapter is "Conrad". Who's Conrad? I didn't know it was a crime to run away from home. I think Lem's mom was so insensitive to Lem's feelings. Why would she say that he'd never see Mattie again? What happens when Mattie's better? Won't he come home? And I don't understand her. As a parent who's had a "fourth son" here almost daily, if God forbid something happened to him I would talk to his parents and see if my son could visit him wherever he is. Lem's parents are very close with Mattie's parents, right? Why on earth would they NOT think of visiting Mattie? Especially since Ronnie already told Lem that Mattie was always so happy when he was around? I don't understand. Ok, off to chapter thirteen!

Yes, you just answered one of my questions in the third chapter. At least Travis' broken nose was an accident. But still, why didn't he go up to Travis at the picnic? And yeah, I agree with you; with all these English accents on the Peacock Network I'm feeling pretty British myself. lol
-
Well, that really sucks about Cole having to leave. Why didn't his father sue for joint custody? Although that would be tough because the parents are so far from each other. Why didn't Cole's father petition the court to have him go before the judge when he turned fourteen and tell them who he'd rather live with. Isn't that the age where the kid can decide for himself? And is Wayne his real name? Where did they get Cole? You know, his father could have done more to keep Cole. He could have gotten his attorney to fight his ex for Cole. They could have depositioned Cole to prove that his mother and Darin verbally abuse him and treat him poorly. Idk, sorry I'm getting carried away. Anyway, I'm enjoying the story and look forward to the next chapter.

Much More Than Saddle Sore
Lisa commented on Swhouston44's story chapter in Much More Than Saddle Sore
I don't know what rock I was under that I missed chapter two! I really enjoyed the details of the baseball game. It brought back memories of watching my kids play in the Cal Ripkin league. I did have a question though, well, a few. If Cole was one of Travis' best friends in middle school, didn't he know who he was at the picnic? Why wouldn't Marty or Owen bring him to reunite Cole with Travis? Why wouldn't Cole say something to Travis? And why did he punch him in middle school? Also, your pen name sounds like you're from Texas (duh). And I went to college to figure that out. lol But you write like you're from England. Futbol for soccer, trainers for sneakers, stood at or beside, or sat at, I don't quite remember what the wording was, but it was wording that someone would use if they were from England. Just wondering.... Ok, on to chapter three! -
Caffled - you're back! I was just about to call a search team for you! I feel bad for Simon. Maybe he's had Peter all to himself for all these years, helping him and supporting him as a good big brother would, and here comes Jon who is now taking all Peter's attention away from him. Sorry, that was a huge run-on-sentence. Simon's jealous. And it's not like Peter will see Jon only in school. They live nex door to each other for goodness sakes! Simon won't be able to get away from Jon! Hopefully he'll take Jon's olive branch and realize he should try to get along with him for Peter's sake. And what's with Ellis? I wonder what Peter has over him. Awesome chapter as usual Caffled! Can't wait to see how the rest of Jon's day goes.

Chapter 19 Tonight I Celebrate..
Lisa commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 19 Tonight I Celebrate..
Wow, I cried from start to finish. Those vows blew me away. They were perfect; totally describing how they each feel for the other. I also agree with everyone here; your attention to detail was incredible - from the flowers to the slight breeze and the warm weather was beautiful. I felt like I was there. Now on to the reception where I can get a drink and calm down. lol -
How come this chapter sounds so familiar. Have you posted it somewhere else? So...if they found out about Rodney, did they find out about Thomas? At the very beginning Rodney was saying how he and Thomas had fooled around. Or did Thomas sell him under the bridge and stop being friends with him like everyone else? Looking forward to reading more!

Hey at least you HAD buses! I had to walk. Elementary school, Jr. High (we called it Jr. High back then) and High School. In the rain, in the snow....I wish we had buses! Gibby should get out his cell and pretend he's talking to someone when Tanner's with him in public. It'll look less like he's crazy! lol And why is Officer Blackfeather so nasty to Gibby? Glaring at him, raising his voice; he's being a real ass. But...if he can take down Queen B, then so be it! I hope he investigates this (shit, Gibby should have made copies of these notes, just in case they miraculously disappear) and nails her to the wall. And I most certainly would not want to be Sunshine right about now. lol Excellent chaper KC! Sorry about your mix-up (not) even though I didn't read this until today. =)

Summer's winding down? Don't depress me! It's not August yet. lol What an emotional chapter. Well, when isn't a chapter emotional for Caleb? The whole scene with Caleb in the bathroom puking after Knox admitted he knew for awhile how Caleb felt about him was really good. How eye-opening for Caleb knowing that if his crush could figure him out, who else could? After all the years pretending and trying to hide who he is and it was for nothing. I really hope he can talk to Clark. And Ethan. Maybe Ethan can be a good friend for Caleb; he certainly needs someone to talk to. And I loved Mickey; she was too funny! "Do you want ice with that burn?" lol Awesome chapter as always furnished. Hopefully the next one will be out quicker and I won't have to send out the National Guard looking for you! hahah

I think I'll have to buy stock in Kleenex. My heart breaks for Mattie. He thought so low of himself and thought he wasn't good enough to live. I'm so glad Lem told Chase and his mom what happened. Lem needs to get to Billings to see Mattie. He needs to talk to him. Mattie needs therapy; he needs to talk to someone about his feelings and why he did what he did. This was an excellent and emotional chapter Dave. Now I'm going to be on pins and needles till the next update.

Chapter 18 We've Only Just Begun...
Lisa commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 18 We've Only Just Begun...
I had a feeling once mom showed up that she was the one who left the message David and Chris forgot about. Kudos to Chris for sticking up for his family! My mouth fell to the floor when mom was rambling on and on about how he can divorce David (gasp! No f'n way!), GIVE HIS BOYS UP?? (double gasp!!!! No f'n f'n way!) Ha, that didn't even make sense! F'n, f'n, that's how pissed off I am at her! God she made my blood boil; I'm surprised Chris didn't throw her out. Yes it's wonderful that she's leaving the house money for the boys. But how can she in good faith, deny her grandkids the chance to know their grandmother? She's taking her stupid Bible thumping thinking and taking it out on her grandchildren. Doesn't she want to get to know them? Spoil them like all grandma's do? She can't expect Tag and Jimmy to be their bubbe. To me that's selfish. But she must have done something right somewhere along the line b/c she did raise Chris and he's a wonderful person. So I'll give her that. But nothing else. Ok, running out to Macy's to buy a dress; I heard from a little bird that they're having a sale! lol -
KC, I'm so sorry to hear about your story. I don't know how these things work, but I guess I'm surprised it got by Amazon. Did that make sense? At least they have your original proof, that's a good thing. I'm with Tanner; I wanted to smack Gibby upside his head for taunting Satan-in-a-mini-skirt. He needs to fly under the radar; not be so much out there. I hope once they go to the police Gibby confides in Ms. Stein. She seems really nice and I'm sure she would love to knock down Mr. Principal's daugter a few notches. Hope you figure out the auto-post! Have a great vacation, if you're going away.

That argument between Shawn and his dad has me worried. Jordan's red flag had every reason to wave. I can't wait to hear Shawn's explanation. But until then, they have a smexy night ahead of them. hahah
