Thanks for giving it a chance, it isn't my normal fare and as a result of a lost bet, I was challenged to go far outside my comfort zone.

First, thank you for continuing with the story. When I have a moment, I would like to delve a bit deeper into my thought process and a couple of underlying themes. Presently I am deeply involved in updating what will be my new home. It's an 1830's farmhouse and attached barn, 35 windows are scheduled to be replaced starting at the end of the month and the new kitchen will follow so I can host Thanksgiving... Again, I appreciate you giving the story a chance...

In our area of the Northeast, we have Grandmothers Mincemeat and None Such Mincemeat and mincemeat is available on Amazon...Some stores here also sell a desiccated mincemeat you soak in water overnight Amazon.com : mincemeat pie filling in a jar, We have always used the None Such in our house and I love it. I bake one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas and more often than not, I go home with both.... BTW...loved this chapter!!!

Pie crusts can be bought in the store along with fillings for the truly lazy....

One has to wonder how quickly Avery is going to run out of 'friends' to bet with....

WTF Killian...you remember the dream yet fail to look under the bed.... Then he moved around to the side closest to me and, much to my surprise, laid down on the floor and scooted under the bed. I watched in amazement until he wiggled backwards and emerged holding a book. He looked up, made eye contact with me, then proceeded to repeat the process, except, the second time he emerged from under the bed, the book was gone. I blinked and he vanished too. That was certainly different. Weird, but oddly reassuring after the string of horror movies most of my dreams had been lately. Still, it was a while before I was able to fall back to sleep after that. I crawled out of bed the next morning feeling as if I hadn’t rested at all. Unfortunately, that was becoming a pattern.

Karma and her alter ego is a bitch...in this case there is a very strong argument for 'youth-in-Asia' before either Able or Kathy hit their teen years...

I would not trust anyone; I would find a way to get the items to MOMA or the Smithsonian for a thorough analysis......

Even my wildest dreams during my misspent youth, getting to the 6th BJ of the day would have my testimonials hanging down by my knees, and all that would be left would look like baby powder...
