A truly remarkable story of love, engaging and expertly nuanced, as we watch Hudson and Liam build a relationship despite all the negativity tossed in their way. This story had me hooked with one of the best opening chapters I've read in quite some time. As the first chapter finishes, you find yourself on a rollercoaster you won't want to get off of!

Ain at the moment, is a detriment to any action that might occur. It would have been better if the spoiled little child that he is had been left at home with a babysitter or two... Behaving as he is, he is of no use to anyone... There has to be more than the Herald making Ain a general to create such enmity. What else happened?

A few years ago, I was at my local small town convenience store where a raffle for a unopened book of twenty dollar tickets for ten bucks. I bought one and to my surprise I was a winner. I forget the exact number of tickets, and to my everlasting surprise I won just over a hundred bucks. lesson learned there a reason Lost Wages is so glitzy…the house always wins.

Quite agree here... "Since we don't have enough suitable logs either way, I'll go with Dante to get some from the Parkers tomorrow, the day after at the latest." One can only hope that when loading the new logs on the truck, one rolls off and crushes Blaise, at the very least, emasculates him...
