    Or the scene of a kitchen disaster, a flour apocalypse, sacrilege, and exorcism performed on the kitchen counter and oven, not to mention the molestation of several innocent apples... Alvin rolled his eyes, wondering how in the hell he’d find Granny’s cookbook amidst the chaos that was her kitchen. “This is going to be… fun.”

    Looks like a giant crane is gonna be needed to safely remove the ginormous stick lodged in Aunt Daphne's posterior...I mean WTF??? The food arrived, and I was presented with a bowl of pasta. I complained but was informed that la signora had said that I had changed my mind. I took a deep breath and tried for calm. I remonstrated in what I hoped was a polite manner, but she was unrepentant; I wasn’t intolerant so could have the pasta. And as it was my first visit to the restaurant, I could not miss it. It was really special. Then she turned to Graham to say something and addressed her meal. That was it, as far as she was concerned. And the kiss!!!!
