The following pretty much sums the story so far Their eyes met again. Briefly. A glance that was not a glance, a collision, an impact, a two-car accident in the space between two people that lasted less than a second and produced enough wreckage to fill a salvage yard.

They still are at minimum, two days into enemy territory, care needs to be taken while traveling back. Easier said than done... Ain took a glance at Neven, still unconscious. He was aware that the man wouldn't talk, Ain knew Nev that much at least. They would just have to convince him to. And then put an end to this whole conflict.

That the Oathbreaker had to 'hire' Flemish mercenaries speaks volumes as to how solid his position is; he has not the force to take on the signatories to the Magna Charta signed at Runnymead. The path ahead will be fraught with peril and treachery, and in the end, the Oathbreaker will learn what keeping one's word truly means. He's waging a fruitless war against those who have something worth fighting for, their word, honor, and the blood of their brothers. And...at the risk of sounding like a broken record, another great chapter, Albert!!

Well, all we need to know is the who, what, and why.....We know who the assassin is, we don't truly know who hired him and his partner, or the reason neither of them is carrying a gun... Sounds simple to figure out...right?? Oh...what kind of information is being exchanged, what was slipped into Darryl's back pocket, and what is in the cigarette case? As for the 'Syndicate', are they a government agency or a criminal organization???
