  1. Hmmm, there might still have been some use left in the old one ... it already has a cat/doggy door.
  2. I see we've reached 1981. The year my son was born.
  3. Thank you Albert.
  4. Thank you. She was a retired college professor and Field Hockey coach.

  6. Levi 501 button flys for me ...
  7. 1980, the year I was married.
  8. She's well but today is difficult. We had a call early this morning that her youngest sister died. We've been expecting it as she'd been placed on 24 hour hospice care early this week. Still it's hard. The thing we are focusing on is the last nearly two years were difficult for my aunt. She had fallen and struck her head just after New Years 2018 and went from being a vital active woman who played tennis every day and taught Pilates to being mostly invalid. She and her husband, my uncle loved to dance. They danced at my son and dil's wedding. A few days later while still FL mum and I visited them at their home in Naples, FL. She and we spent an afternoon touring the Botanical Garden. I have pictures of she and mum admiring the thousands of orchids growing there. Whenever someone here mentions orchids I am reminded of that day. It was the last time we were able to do anything like that. I'm sorry that more answer than you expected but it's the first I've gotten to "talk" about my aunt. She was a bit more than 15 years younger than mum but looked so much alike that seeing her was like seeing my mum when I was younger.
  9. Thank you Albert.
  10. Mornin'. I'm sorry your Serenity has run out.
  11. Mum watches the movie White Christmas every year.
  12. Either that or our beloved Blue-eyed Wolf must ... I have faith in you Adi. I know you'll make it a Merry Christmas for little Tristan. I am curious though just how you'll do it.
  13. I had a nice chai latte. It was a chill damp day, meaning it never got above 50/10° and rained intermittently. Perfect for something sweet and spicy. Saddly, I had to settle for the tea which nonetheless warmed my tummy.

    Chapter 29

That was one hell of a lancing ... but now that the poison has begun to drain healing can begin. An excellent chapter. Best of the holiday to you may you escape unscathed.
  15. You were pretty quick with that response.
  16. Other than being off his medication, again?
  17. You're just afraid he'll point out you're the elder one.
  18. Yes but you're rather spry for a centenarian ...
  19. Don't be a tease dear ... I surely hope to find some on the dessert buffet at the COTT Christmas Fete and Musical Extravaganza ...
  20. I think another a pause for another cup of coffee is in order ... Seriously, I understand where Peter is coming from. I never thought of myself as gay when I was younger, sure I was fond of boys and most of my dreams involved male classmates but I also liked girls or the idea of girls. I met, fell in love with, married a girl and fathered a child with her because that was what was expected. I find it interesting that my wife was a tomboy with a more boyish than curvy body. Peter's ploy was meant to be a harmless cover. I suspect he didn't tell Tristan because how do you explain to the person you love that the other two most important people in your life disapprove of him. I hope Tristan can come to understand that. Now as to Tristan, I think it best he catch that train home. He needs time to think and come to grips with what he's heard. It should be obvious that Peter is telling the truth about loving him. Little Tristan makes that point when he mentions his daddy looking at a picture someone he loves. So perhaps another cup of coffee and another week will help clarify things.
  21. Oh, so it's not a part of your realm.
  22. You seem to really know your shire.
