    There was frost here this morning on the houses, cars and some lawns but as soon as the sun reached those surfaces it was gone.

    Well tarnation the only way Boone might been bruised worse woulda been from fallin' off a chair ... Seriously, he's a very lucky young man. Of course it was Coy following along behind watching. It was pretty obvious he cared a whole lot more for Boone in ways he wasn't ready to admit. Now that they're together again all is right in the world. Well it could be if someone wrote the story that way but we know that just isn't likely and could be boring.

    The recipe we use is one mum got from the proprietor of a local business. It's an old family recipe for a "white fruitcake". It uses candied cherries, candied pineapple and pecans. The interesting thing to me is the recipe calls for confectioner's/powdered sugar not granulated or brown which are more common.

    No little Tricksters here but there are only a couple youngsters in the appropriate age bracket in mum's development. We didn't stock up on candy, instead I had mini bags of microwave popcorn ready in case. I made pumpkin waffles for brekkie yesterday.

    Those guys are some of Val's early herd members. Sadly, the spider got them all. Well, except for that sort of slow one bringing up the rear. Him, he tripped and shot himself in the foot. Spider passed him by.

    I was never fond of Lazenby as Bond. While I enjoyed the films with Roger Moore his Bond seems more cartoonish. Brosnan was in my mind the prettiest and his films played more like modern day dime store novels. While I wasn't sure at first, I've come to like Daniel Craig's portrayal the most.

    My mum's youngest sister went back into the hospital last evening. They are feeding her by iv. Four years ago this coming week she and my uncle danced at my son's wedding. She's my favorite aunt. She has always looked like a younger version of my mum.
