I actually think the style shown in the picture is designed for standing on the top step, hence the handrail. It was developed because so many people ignored the warning about standing on the top step of the earlier more common style.
I used my beard/hair clippers to buzz my hair about six weeks ago. Took it down to 5/8" and then just trimmed around my ears to keep it neat as it grew in. With so many guys doing it I didn't look or feel out of place. Still it was nice to get it cut professionally.
Barber shops here in SC were permitted to open again yesterday. I admit I think some things are moving more quickly than they ought. I don't believe in-house dining is safe and much as I would like a massage I will not be scheduling an appointment for one. However I was the barber's first client of the day. We wore masks and everything was sanitized prior to use so I felt comfortable. I was last there on Feb 25th, twelve weeks ago. I'm now sporting a nice neat military crewcut.
It's very warm and humid. To took Thistle for a short drag at dawn, he dawdled because of the heat. We're forecast to have heavy rains the next couple of days.
To me the mustard sounds the better option since I don't care for thousand island dressing. Mum and I had fresh strawberries with vanilla ice cream ... tasty.
Glad you got the delivery, mostly as you got to see the lad. Sorry your relationship with Cookie is currently crap. For both your sakes I hope she's well again soon. You'll write again, be patient with yourself.
