I really hate not eating salt. I know how it goes though. 2 pretzels a day is very good. I went over a week and a half without eating anything with salt. Last night i cheated. I had chicken and sweet corn. But the only way i would salt the corn was to pour it into my hand first, so I could see exactly how much was going on it. I used BBQ sauce to flavor the chicken.(actually I really cheated--I picked off a piece of chicken and took it over to the sink and salted it and ate it--it really tasted good!) But I only did that with one tiny little piece no larger than a quarter. And hey, I usually only go to one fair per year too. But it is labor day weekend every year, The great Minnesota get together, The Minnesota State Fair. It is still usually pretty hot. I used to go just because it was fun(I lived less than a mile away when I was a kid), But now it is more of my way of telling myself that things are allright with my world. I have only missed the state fair in 1993(That year my biof was on his downward spiral, And I used the $7 it would have cost to get in to keep myself fed for 2 weeks instead). Now I go for all the unhealthy food. I just have to have my deep fried cheese curds, fresh never frozen french fries, mini donuts, fresh lemonade, alligator on a stick, deep fried candy bar on a stick, pork chop on a stick. And then we can't forget the most important fair food item. The Pronto Pup. Not a corndog, You can get a corndog anywhere. A Pronto Pup is far superior to any "corndog". Corndogs are made with cornmeal batter. Pronto Pups are made with a flour batter. BIG Difference!!

I'm a lucky dial up user! The site seems to work fine for me. I have no complaints at all--this site seems to be one of the faster ones to load for me, And I just have to say thank you for not cluttering the site with all kinds of extensive graphics that take forever to load on a slow connection.

It sounds like you at least got your moneys worth out of your car. When I commuted 100miles a day, I went through many $100 cars. Probably around 20 of them in 6 years. It's amazing how many more miles a car can be driven after someone gives up on them. Then after I started working much closer to home, I bought a truck. It was after this I realized a very valid point. Trucks are built more solidly and built to last. The tradeoff is gas mileage. I pay much more for gas, But maintenance and major repairs have been nil. The only consistent repair I have had to do on every truck I have ever owned is the clutch. I always seem to buy trucks with the original clutch in it, And after 250K miles they just kinda disintegrate no matter how nice it was driven. The last one I replaced came out in a pile of dust and pieces But that is to be expected after 253K miles Anyway, Good luck finding a new hoop-dee--You just have to look for them. I actually used to look for them in the country--It's easy to tell if a car never moves on roads you drive every day, Especially in the winter time. People don't shovel out cars that don't run or don't get used. Or if a car suddenly appears in the back yard of someones house. Usually that means they have given up on them and don't know what to do with it yet. Sometimes they go pretty cheap. My best all time deal was back in 1997. I was delivering phone books, And out in the country there was a 1991 Buick Skylark parked under a tree in someones front yard without license plates on it and covered with about 2 years of dust. So I knocked on the door and gave them their phone book, And I asked them what they were doing with the dead car in the yard. He told me the transmission was bad in it, So I asked him if he wanted to sell it. I got it for $150. The car had 170K miles on it, And the transmission wasn't bad in it. The electronic Torque Converter Clutch had a sticky solenoid and stuck on when it was hot, Thereby locking the transmission into overdrive, And killing the engine when it was warm whenever coming to a full stop. It worked fine again once it cooled off. So I unplugged the wiring harness to the TCC(1 simple wiring clip under the hood in plain view), And drove the car flawlessly until it had 280K miles. Then the engine finally went, so I used all the good parts left on it on the next car and sent it on it's way. But I don't even look anymore--I'm happy with my chevy truck(with a new clutch ) And my Jeep Cherokee. High miles but dependable units!

not off the wall, just the simple truth. they should all be tipped.

ok. heres what I learned the first time around. forget canned vegetables. frozen or fresh only. canned is full of sodium and preservatives. i used to use onion salt and garlic salt in cooking. i switched to onion powder and garlic powder the first time around, and never switched back thankfully. but they add flavor after cooking too, but i really like onion and garlic anyway. ketchup is full of salt. small cans of tomato sauce or tomato puree tastes just as good and is much healthier. real butter, even in small amonts, makes veggies taste better even without salt. if you like chinese food, especially if you cook any, be careful buying soy sauce. look at the ingredients. most of them the soy is the 3rd or 4th ingredient. avoid those. soy should be the secong or first ingredient, not salt or water. remember, ingredients are listed in quantities used, most listed first. sometimes you need the generic no brand name stuff to get the real stuff. La Choy and Kikoman are salt sauce, not soy sauce. pretzels are bad for salt lovers trying to not eat salt. so are potato chips. if you like fast food fries(guilty), request them with no salt, and use ketchup to make them tasty. the salt in the ketchup is plenty. bacon is very salty, as is ham. enjoy in moderation. Ok thats all i have for now. for dinner tonight, i had pork chops that were shake n baked, not fried, fresh beets with real butter, and scalloped potatoes with onion powder and pepper, and i really didnt miss salt too much. i did reach for the shaker for my beets though, but i put it back down before i used it. good luck, its not easy but its necessary for the blood pressure. dam blood pressure.

My body would most likely take double that, Even after i prepped with the elctric clippers first And then all the nasty stretch marks would show too from when i was much larger :wacko:

Funny, But that's just wrong!! Now, loading said device for a person and hiding a fly or other interesting bug hidden inside of the dose, That is funny!! Just be prepared, I will never forget the time Lindsey puked in the bong, And neither will she! Or the time Berg puked in his new bag of donuts.(he was reclined smoking it, And for some reason decided to take a drink and yeah we all laughed until we almost were sick too. Gotta love stoner friends! And it's really easy to hide insects in a joint or bowl, Just make sure you keep an eye on which ones so you know which ones to pass on.

Am I to assume there's a large, long bridge which passes over/near this lake? Or when you say "driving through" are you REALLY driving through? Because I bet THAT'S why it take so long, I expect once you're fully submerged frequent car trouble hinders your progress. -Kevin I never thought of that! Maybe thats why the bus always stalls out through there--We all just get out and push usually until its back on dry land No, Actually, Look up driving directions on mapquest from McAlester OK to Checotah OK. Lake Eufala(Eufaula?)(Eufala is apparently right for the Eufala wildlife managment area, Eufaula is the name of the town and lake?) It is on both sides of Hwy 69 for quite a few miles, Several long bridges and lots of small bays. It looks like maybe a river that was dammed, But I'm not for sure. I was raised in MN, Land of 10,000 lakes, and there are odd shaped lakes there(for a good example of a crazy lake, see Lake Minnetonka) But lakes that size and shape in OK, My opinion is it is a man made lake. I am wrong occassionally though.

Lake Eufala! That is a very large lake. If I remeber right it takes like an hour to drive through it from north to south. It looks like the place to be to beat the heat in Oklahoma. Of course, The only time I see it is from the window of the Greyhound bus, But it is a nice sight to see compared to the rest of the roadside sights in Oklahoma. I hope you at least have your own discman for the ride to NM.

And the kitties are cute too, Except for the color. I'm biased towards black cats though. I need the 7 years good luck they bring along with them. Yeah Cruel summer is in my massive MP3 collection. Didn't they use that one in one of the Grand Theft Auto games? I seem to remember it from one of them before my PS2 grew legs and walked out of my house in the middle of the night. And yeah, They could have just stayed a one hit wonder band. Some gotta learn the hard way though. For some, Being chewed up and spit out once in their life isn't enough.

Sounds like so much fun!! When I was kid raising, I had a kid seat on my 10-speed bike, and the city bus took us all over town. Luckily Darnell rode for free, so it was pretty easy to get around town. But they can be so fun to play with at the park But yeaqh it was always nice to be able to hop in a car and get a ride too.

My favorite character would have to be The Demon X(A/N)th. He is just the ultimate in evil, Gambling with the lives of everyone involved whenever it suits him. To read of him, I encourage you to check out the writings of Piers Anthony. Specifically, the Land of Xanth series. But beware, Overusage of bad puns does occur from time to time. But it is an awesome saga to read. I have been reading the series since i was in 7th grade, but he published the first in the series the year i was born and has made it an annual event to realease the new book in the series. So theres almost 30 now. Don't worry about starting at the beginning though. He has written them so you can pick up anywhere and still know whats going on. The one I recommend most for knowing what my characters is like, would be Up In A Heaval, C2002.

WTG! Weddings are fun sometimes. When I was 18 I was a photographers assistant for an entire summer. I worked midnights in the photolab, running minilab machines and enlargers. And every Saturday and Sunday, I was at a wedding. It can be fun if you like large groups of people you don't know. I hate large groups of people, So I never pursued getting further into it. I did work in the lab for over 5 years though, At the end running the Digital Imaging Department, Fixing photographer errors and making thousands of ID tags for sporting events, Using thumbnail size photos and laminating them onto cards. It can be fun, But exhausting. If you like people though, It's an awesome way to make money. It is easy money. It can be a lot of money.Some of my commisiion checks(my photographers commission--the photographers got paid by a percentage of the sales of the final product) were over $4K in one month, Besides my salary I got for working in the lab. It sure was nice to take one months salary and buy a decent used car and have plenty left over to make it until payday again. But WTG--Go and get rich!! If you take good pictures, Why not? Like my boss said to me the time, At least we get to make money doing something we love, instead of doing something we hate to support ourselves.
