Ok, I thought that little girl Elizabeth was kind of a little spoiled witch, But I underestimated her hatred for her mother. It was Celia Hodes. H O D E S And that is precisely why you don't piss off your local friendly neighborhood pot peddler. Or become too friendly with them when they really don't like you. Now I have something to look forward to on mondays again!

So am I. I sure hope this isn't the last season, They can stretch it out to 5. And as for the "speech", Have you EVER seen a kids face light up like Shane's did at the prospect of "homework"? Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes all the same. Little boxes made of ticky tacky.

I know I'm not the only one who watch's Weeds! on Showtime. It's a good show. Anywho, Tonight is the Season Premiere, And it was quite a cliffhanger at the end of last season with nancy torching the house and all that was going on. Tonight looks like it's gonne be an interesting one! And I think this is age appropriate, If not I'll have to be slapped on the wrist, But it is so dam funny that I have to post the link. It is from season 2, It's a speech between Uncle Andy and Shane(the 12-13? YO kid in the show) about a natural bodily function. His mom tries to talk to him first, But fails miserably, So she passes it off to good old uncle Andy to explain a few things. And he does explain. Birthdays started depressing me when I turned 16, But yeah. 50 miles is a good long ride! When I was a kid, My bike was my main mode of transportation. I never knew how many miles I rode from one point to another, But now that I drive those routes occasionally, It's a LOT of miles I didn't even realize. I should get back into bike riding. The last time I rode a bike anywhere was ummm.. The day I got my drivers license when I was 16 And good idea on not buying a truck. It cost me $54 to fill the tank of my little 2 wheel drive S10 with a 4 cylinder and a 5 speed--The MOST economic truck available. That will get me 350 miles. Cost per every mile driven, Just for gas is 16 cents.

And I get a lot of dust and dirt and crap blown in my face at work all the time, So I stick to the glasses. I'd go without, But I can't read 75pt typeface at 20 feet without them

This is the first time in my life I ever had a tie on. It was one my cousin lent me when his mom dragged both of us to the wedding of his sister's friend. All the clothes I had on were borrowed except for the socks and the undies. And yes, I have changed glasses Come on now, I wasn't around when gas was 40 cents a gallon It's no wonder I was never carded to buy beer or tobacco. Thanks for the guess' guys, That was very informative for me. I was 15 in that picture, It was taken in the fall of 1992. I weighed almost 300 pounds in that picture. And heres one taken last fall. I'm down to just over 200 now, But from what most people tell me, I haven't really aged much in my looks in the last 16 years.

Wet and Cold aren't necessarily bad things. It gives people a chance to warm up...... And it's the PERFECT time of the year for me Of course, I'd be nervous around that many people with knives LOL

All for feed for the dairy cows. Hopefully this year it will grow, It's got enough rain this year for the first time in 5 years

It looks/sounds like you guys had an awesome time! I was thinking of Dallas all weekend while I was fixing the planter and then planting corn in between cloudbursts :wacko: and wishing I was there having fun at 6 Flags with everyone. But alas, No rest for the wicked

And farm work has screwed me again. I won't be able to make it, I still have 5 fields(about 65 acres) of corn to plant, And it HAS to be in the ground by June 15th or no crop insurance on those fields. So no vacation for me until after then, Unfortunately. Have an awesome time guys, I will be wishing I was there having fun with y'all!

Just watch out for the food at the TA truck stop in Grand Island. I stopped for dinner there about 5 years ago, And it was the NASTIEST food I've ever been served. I had an omelet that was burnt on the outside and runny on the inside. So I decided to just eat the toast and the hashbrowns that came with it. That worked until I'm eating my last piece of toast, and I notice that the bread is MOLDY on the bottom corner So as long as the food doesn't kill you in Grand Island, Have a nice trip up to MN! Although, It's kinda cold and nasty still up here.

It sounds like these "kids" have some deep psychological issues. I have smoked many pounds of pot in my past, And I can honestly say that I've NEVER had the urge to smoke out of a corpse. I mean, Come on, Are these kids too good for a friggin toilet paper core bowl? Or a tin foil pipe?? They can afford pot but not anything to smoke it out of? That's just sicko. I wouldn't even wanna think of what diseases could be caught from doing something stupid like that. What if the kid died of the bubonic plague? Or smallpox?? Nasty.

I don't think this is a duplicate thread, I looked a few pages back and didn't see one. Myr, Joe, Dan, & Robert, Congratulations on Incorporating GA! It's a good step for the site to take, And I hope it works well for everyone involved. It sounds like it needed to be done, And I'm glad you pulled it together and got it done. Long live GA!

I'm going to do something completely out of character for me. I'm going to suggest an alternative to buying a truck. Have you thought about a trailer hitch for your current car and a small trailer? With gas at current prices and showing no signs of reversing its uphill climb, It's not a bad alternative to consider. It's cheaper than buying a truck, Which requires gas, Insurance, And a monthly payment. You could get a hitch installed and buy a small lightweight trailer for probably under $1K(around here under $500, But thats here). Just something to consider. But I do have to throw in, Since you did ask , I'd go with the Chevy. Just my personal choice as a backyard home-mechanic.

IDK about anyone else, But I've really enjoyed watching Brett Favre lead the Green Bay Packers for the last 16 years. He was a fresh quarterback aquired from Atlanta, Who had completed only 1 TD pass when GB got him(which happened to be to himself) back in 1992. I was still in HS at the time, And I took a lot of shit for being a Packers fan in the middle of the Twin cities metro area. Needless to say, I'd take it and more all over again for another 16 years if Brett would keep playing the game. But I can't say I blame him either, It's a physical game he has played almost until he is 40 years old. So goodbye Brett, You are the best of the best of the best. Hopefully this Favre fan will still be interested in watching the NFL next year. It surely won't be the same.

I use DSL I really don't know what speed it is, But generally on downloads my average speed seems to be ~160KBPS. For uploading, I haven't a clue, I don't upload much of anything(I'm an internet leech ) Compared to my old dial-up, there is no comparison. DSL or other hi-speed connections make the difference between the internet actually working or the internet taking literally hours to load one single page. You have my sympathy if you are still on dial-up(but I'm not sharing!)

I learned how to drive an automatic when I was about 5(My father thought it was a good idea for his kids to know how to drive in case of an emergency), And I taught myself to drive a manual when I was 14. I can't imagine not being able to drive half of the cars made. All it takes is hand-eye-foot coordination. I prefer manuals because of the more precise control you have over your speed. The fuel economy is also an advantage. With my chev S10 5 speed, I get anywhere between 22 and 30 MPG, depending on what speed I drive it and the weather/wind conditions. In Texas and Florida at interstate speeds I was getting 30 MPG, In the colder weather with slower shorter trips I'm getting about 22MPG. And yeah, weren't those "3 on the tree"'s just fun things to drive? LOL I remember my mom had an old old chevy Nova 4 door that was a 3 on the tree, And the linkage rods were forever binding, She said naughty words every time it locked in 3rd gear at a stoplight and she had to get out, open the hood and free the linkage so she could shift it back into 1st. Automatics can be fun, but only when they have a really large engine to put some power into it. Sometimes, If you have enough power, You really shouldn't be thinking about such things as shifting when you should be focusing your attention on surviving Most farm machinery is manual though--If you don't know how to use a clutch, You won't get far LOL

Same for me as of right now. Time will tell, But crops should be in by then and I should be able to get a weekend off. Hopefully I will have my last roadtrip paid for by then

I recently heard about a new documentary that was out that I was unaware of. Runnin' Down A Dream It's a 4 hour film by Peter Bogdanovich that highlights the career of Tom Petty. 4 hours might sound like a lot, But when you consider how long Tom has been making fantastic music, I find it amazing that it is only 4 hours long. Apparently it is a BestBuy exclusive item, And available online. I bought it at BB for $29.99. It is a box set with 2 DVD's for the main movie, And another 2 hour long DVD of his 30th anniversary concert in his hometown of Gainesville FL. Now, I'm not generally into documentary's, But when you love music as much as I do, It was a no-brainer that I had to see this one. I was not disappointed!
