  1. Diet fads like that are so funny! I remember when I was 10 or 11 and an aunt came from CA for a summer. The aunt she stayed with while she was here wanted to try some of the new CA health diets that were popular at the time.(like 1985, remember when Michael Jackson was black? ) The one that stands out in my mind was the Grapefruit/Eggs diet. Supposedly you were supposed to lose lots of weight and be very healthy if all you ate in a day was ummm yeah grapefruit and eggs. They were both very sick within a week and a half. I missed it by about 5 days(the rest of the family in the area all took bets on how long it would last ) You are definitely right though--every diet I have ever seen always gets "modified" or just fades away slowly. I hope it goes fast for you! So many Excellent choices for the NJ Excellence Awards this month! It's almost as if I picked them for you. Well, Take care and have a fantastic week!
  2. Happy Birthday Nick! HAVE A GREAT DAY!
  3. uh oh, I understood that Dom, You definitely handled it much calmer than I would have. I do love to make a good scene.
  4. Happy Birthday Dom! "If you wanna get to heaven you gotta raise a little hell" Ozark Mountain Daredevils
  5. Vance, I'm so sorry. I know how it is to know the whole movie by heart. Without going into painful detail, All I will say is that i have seen the movie minimum of 400 times. The 1 and only movie I have seen more times than The Sound Of Music is The Swiss Family Robinson. TSFR I would have to say the minimum amount of times ive seen it is around 600. Those two I can actually recite word for word in my sleep. I wish I was there to see the colors! It's just starting to turn here, but now its cold and nasty again
  6. Happy Birthday Luke!
  7. Congrats Joe! I sure hope I never have diarhea of the fingers that bad PS-Woo hoo! My post number is reperesentative of one of the best chevy racing engines ever made!
  8. Wow Drew, I would expect the spade comment to come from me I think you mean spayed, But I'm no expert. My dog would not be happy if i tried to spade him, And I can't see the cats reacting too well to me chasing them around the house with a shovel either.
  9. Give it up Ray-- They just like to be spectators at such an event And hello Steve! Welcome to the insanity
  10. Happy Birthday Conner!

  14. (insert jeopardy music here) What is a post in a thread to make people ask more questions?
  15. Drew, Happy Birthday! You're finally 21. Now you can legally drink alcohol, Gamble your pennies away anywhere in the world, And just do whatever blows your hair back. Enjoy these things before the novelty wears off. "If you wanna get to heaven you gotta raise a litte hell"
  16. Nick, I 100 percent agree with you. I know it's September already, But your Nickolas James Non Hosted Author of the Month Excellence Award is an awesome choice! Abandoned Boy, My Step Brother Jacob, And a few I'm forgetting. That is all.
  17. Happy Birthday Jared! Enjoy the fireworks
  18. I agree with Luc. That was too much! Thank you Kevin. I needed that
  19. Hey Vance!!! It sounds like you are being kept busy at work. That can be good and bad in my experience. It definitely makes for good job security when you can do multiple jobs at the same company. But the downside is what you are experiencing now. I guess the biggest deciding factor is how much you like the job. Yeah QAF is a great show Although I watched it really in a messed up kind of way. I got my satellite dish halfway through season 5. I had never seen the show before. So I watched the last half of season 5 first. Then the first repeats were from season 5, So I then got to see the first half of season 5. Then they started running reruns, and the first season they show is 5. Then they start showing season 4 from the beginning. Then they went to season 3. Then back to 5 again. So I have seen season 5 multiple times now, season 4 once and season 3 once. I am patiently waiting for them to rerun seasons 1&2, But they are taking their time Turkey sounds good! I have one in the freezer from last thanksgiving/christmas I have been meaning to thaw and cook, But I just haven't found a good time yet.
  20. Ok. I know the elusive question to this mysterious answer. (insert Jeopardy music here) What is a thread to make people ask questions?
  21. ummm NJ8, I don't wanna bring down the mood or anything, Or cause a buzzkill at all, But I'm not sure Nick is with us anymore. His profile says he joined in July 2003, And his last active date was in November 2004. Assuming his birthdate is correct, August 1904, I suspect that after November of 2004 Some life changes may have happened to poor old Nick. However, If I'm dead wrong , Happy Birthday Nick! Congrats on the milestone achieved!
  22. Happy Birthday Gary!
  23. Exactly! I would never drink water from a water fountain. :nuke: You never know if some parent let their toddler with a dirty diaper go wading in a water fountain.
  24. Yes, Peter knows what she does. As he put it, There are only 400 DEA agents in the world, And a susburban housewife who sells dime bags is not high on his priority list. Apparently that's why they got married, So she would have some form of protection I guess. Anyway, The show does seem to have some spectacular cliffhangers. Season 1 ended with Nancy pulling on his jacket to go to the bathroom and then realizing it was a DEA jacket. This week it ended with the 2 of them getting married. I defitnitely recommend it if you have showtime.
