A very good gay oriented movie I saw last year is Dorian Blues. I highly recommend it!

Happy Birthday Mark! All the best wishes and hopes that you have one hell of a day!

Well, since I just heard 4 is coming out, I guess another way it could end would be in the name of one of the next movie's. It will be over with Terminator #?--The Death Of John Connor

I just laughed until my side hurt, I had tears running down my face, I fell out of my chair. Multiple times. Farce Of The Penguins So very very wrong. Oh, So wrong. But so very hilarious.

A lavender fairy
Tim the Traveller commented on CarlHoliday's blog entry in Melancholy ... the broken staff of life
I vote for the Lavender Fairy! And honestly, It's not because my hag is obsessed with fairy's She has a Tinkerbell sticker on her car, A Tinkerbell steering wheel cover and last year she got a tattoo of a small tinkerbell on her ankle LOL I'd get one, But I just don't have a "tattoo" body -
I think it's a good idea. I'm not saying I would use it regularly, But when I think back to 2 years ago, I remember being all alone in a big empty closet, And I'm eternally grateful for the chat that used to be here. Suffice it to say, I wouldn't be here as I am without it, So if there is a possibility that it could help someone else come to terms with who they are(which just isn't quite as easy in forum messages or even PM's, Sometimes people actually need to talk in real time), Then my vote is yes. As for me being there, It probably wouldn't happen too often. I've been totally lost in YouTube and certain other "Tube's" since I got DSL late last year. For anyone who knows the difference between the internet on dial-up and the internet on DSL or other high-speed connections, To put it frankly, The internet works now. I couldn't sit in a chat room for hours now anymore than I could pluck my nose hairs for hours on end. Ok, thats Tim's 2 cents worth.

LOL! Ok, I just have to say, This guy's ranch/farm license should be revoked permanently. A Strong Gust Of Wind blew the gate open!?!?!? --Tim just shakes his head for a moment here--

Packers lost. Brett Favre got flustered early on trying to show Tony Romo how an old guy plays football. He failed, Miserably. Aaron Rodgers sure looks good though. To keep the game within 10 points was a miracle. He did much better than Favre did tonight. If the officiating crew had gotten a few key calls right, It could have been a different outcome. But the refs are blind/ignorant when it comes to getting things right. I wish I liked Tony Romo better, But those ears just stand out so dam bad from the side of his head, He looks ridiculous. Mickey Mouse comes to mind whenever I see him. So it's 10-2 for the season. Just remember, in 1996 when Favre won the SuperBowl, Our record was 13-3, So anything is still possible. Especially if Aaron Rodgers gets some more playing time.

She's Dead
Tim the Traveller commented on CarlHoliday's blog entry in Melancholy ... the broken staff of life
At least the suffering has ended. It's so hard to watch/be around someone you love when their mind left years before. I hope things aren't too stressful on you, I always hate funerals. I hope all goes well. -
So I get home from work today, To discover that my mom decided to buy me a portable DVD player for christmas(Yeah, It's not christmas yet, But I'm not within a thousand miles of here at christmastime ). It's a GPX with an 8" screen, It came with an AC adapter, DC(car) adapter, Ear buds, And a remote control. It has outputs for S-Video, Coax Audio out, And A/V output. So it can be hooked up to a real TV and used to watch a movie too. But the goodies don't end there! It also has: 2 earphone jacks, And it also has 2 very important inputs. It has a USB port on it, So i can load stuff on my jump drive, And it also has an SD card reader--Which is the same card that my digital camera takes. And since I just got two 2GB cards, I have all kinds of stuff I can play through this tiny little thing(besides the normal DVD's and CD's it reads). So, Now I can take my entire MP3 collection on the road with me, My DVD collection, And have pictures with me I can look at on a 8" screen. Tim is happy. *Edit* http://www.gpx.com/shop_ind.php?id=574&pid=150 *Edit*

It was a first for me this year. Let me say, I was very unimpressed. I was drawn by the good deals on the electronics. I've wanted a portable DVD player for awhile now, But they are expensive! So when I saw the ad for one with a 7" screen for only $50, I thought I would see if I could get one. I was also looking at the cheap MP3 players, Some VideoMP3 players, All 1GB or larger, Some with FM tuners too, for around $20. I woke up at 4:30AM, Got to the first store at 5 minutes to 5, Opening time 5. It was the first time in a long time that I felt like the cows at work, Being herded into the store like cows go into the barn. It was ridiculous. There was only one way that I was going to get what I was after before all the greedy hands grabbed every last one of everything, And I just wasn't willing to do it. Literally, The only way I could have got to the electronics section any faster would have been to push old people out of my way. I just wasn't willing to do it. So I left my small town and decided I'd give W**-M*** a chance, Even though I was gonna get there about 20 minutes after opening. By the time i got to the next town closer to civilization, It was almost 5:20. I made my way inside, Waded through the masses of people clogging the 10 isles immediately surrounding the electronics section, And discovered what I already knew I would. Of course, By that time, they were sold out of everything I would have wanted. But, Since I was there already, And up in the middle of the night, I decided to at least make the trip worthwhile, So I grabbed 2 of the one item that I could use that they had an abundant supply of. They had some Kodak 2GB SD memory cards, Which is what my digital camera takes, For only $12.88 each. Normally they are around $40 each, So I thought that was a pretty good deal. Circuit city had the same cards, for only $6.88, But part of that was a mail-in-rebate(which is way too much work for me, no matter how much of a good deal it is for me to waste my time actually sending them the receipt and whatever other hassle it is), So i just went the easy way and bought them at the store I was already crazy enough to be in. So after this year, I don't think I'm going to try it again. Crowds of people, Middle of the night/Before the morning, Uninformed sales support in the stores, The list of reasons to hate it is much longer than I anticipated it would be. You have to be pretty dam ruthless if you think you are gonna get out there and get a good deal when there are thousands that have the same thing on their minds.

Anyone reading this thread who hasn't seen Dogma does not know what they are missing. GO WATCH IT! Last night, I saw Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2 back to back. If you have never seen them played one right after the other, It is an awesome movie when watched continuously. I'd add a few of my favorite quotes here, But someone would just tell me to shut it I also just recently watched Terminator 3--Rise of the Machines for about the 4th time. Excellent end to a trilogy

Richard Jeni, JFK, Red Hair and Weeds Finale stuff
Tim the Traveller commented on ashessnow's blog entry in blog
The Weeds finale this season was kinda blah IMO, But it was a definite cliffhanger. I guess it just didn't seem anywhere near as intense as last season's finale, But that one is kinda hard to top, I think. Now we just have to wait until next August to find out where the family moves too, If Capt. Till tracks them down, If the entire valley of Agrestic Majestic burns down, It's just too much to think about right now. I can't seem to get into Californication, Possibly because it seems to be full of str8 sex, But other than that I don't know why. Little boxes, On the hillside, Little boxes made of ticky tacky, Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes all the same. Theres a pink one, And a green one, And a blue one, And a yellow one, And they're all made out of ticky tacky and they all look just the same. And the people in the houses........ -
A good movie I saw last year that was about coming out--Dorian Blues. Good movie. And one that has been out awhile that I just saw for the first time is Dogma, With Matt Damon , Ben Afflek , Chris Rock, George Carlin, And Jay & Silent Bob. Hilarious!!!

Thanksgiving week--What am I thankful for? I'm thankful that I live in such a large country, I'm thankful for my 1000+ mile buffer zone from certain parts of my family. I'm thankful for my sanity, Even if it hangs by a single lone thread. And a big Thank You to the 2007 Green Bay Packers. Here's to hoping #4 takes em all the way! And the thing I'm most thankful for-- The Wisconsin DMV for giving me a Driver's License and the freedom to move about the country (I should probably throw in something like good health and clean living too, but meh)

GA Get-Together (post-2007 and planning for 2008)

Isn't there a 6 Flags in Ft. Worth? And if there's any Nascar fans besides myself, There is always Texas Motor Speedway--Race or no race, It is a must see on my list if I ever have time to kill in Dallas. So yeah, Those are just 2 off the top of my head, There's a lot of time between now and then to throw out all kinds of ideas. -

It sounds like you guys had an excellent time. I wanted to go, but work conflicted this year(which really irritated me, Since I had the funds available). Who knew we would be putting hay in the barn in early November instead of the usual time of the year in August? I voted for Dallas, Simply because I know for sure I can get away to go to Dallas anytime. Closer to christmastime is better, But if it's June then I can take a mid-summer break to run down and check on my grandma(since Dallas is 2/3 of the way there) Of course, Vegas would be fun too! -
OK so myself not ever having seen them or encountered them, And as a dairy farmer, All I can imagine is it being like the feed I grind for the cows. Ground up corn. Sausage gravy and biscuits has always been a favorite of mine, But I never knew it was southern until I was older. Excellent!
