I think John and Bobby are pretty solid, as things stand. They seem to be on the same wavelength finally. Growing pains can be awful, though.

Too good to be true? We'll find out. Life's never simple or fair.

January 03 2022 I won! No, seriously. The judge basically threw the case out and publically chastised Dom’s lawyer for bringing it forward in the first place. He ordered Dom to pay my legal fees. I have trouble believing that money is ever going to appear but what-the-fuck-ever, I won! I am so glad Emma recommended Vange. She was flawless. Dom’s lawyer was a slimeball that I wouldn’t have trusted a nickel of my money with, let alone a case like this. I feel like Dom might have been playe

As fun as it would be on harpsichord, I was thinking on piano. Besides, my harpsichord needs surgery... One of the bridges came unglued during my move (it was already loosening, I'll admit), and there are some cracks in the soundboard that need to be addressed. This is what I get for having a 'free' instrument... It would be beautiful if not for the problems lol.

Can't help but love Corey. It seems to me like Aleks has told his parents more than just that he's braking up with the gf. People don't just randomly sling around the word deviance, so it's a little hard to imagine Liam reading that otherwise. He was bewildered, of course, so that has a role to play... Liam, even if he's stuck on Aleks even after all that's happened, seems to be moving towards safety right now. Whether that is a good or a bad thing remains to be seen. Hopefully this phone call (to Marty?) will help clear things up.

:D I've seen that one before, and genius it definitely is. Thanks for bringing it for more enjoyment.

It's been years since I've even thought about a lot of this stuff. I'm not sure how useful I'd be towards helping you. My focus was more on performance practice and theory, since my degree was actually in music composition. Regardless, I was somewhat immersed in that milieu, so feel free to message me with any specifics... But I don't think I'll be able to get you very far, not anymore, anyway.

How many harpsichord is too many? J.S. Bach seemed to think 4 onstage at once was pretty awesome: https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=8KDgO6PdDwY

Lux Apollo commented on Cia's story chapter in Mine! Part Two Chapter Nine
D'aaawwwwwwwww... of course the chapter had to end there, and with important things on the horizon for the rest of the day... -
Brandon Meets Prince Charming
Lux Apollo commented on mitchelll's story chapter in Brandon Meets Prince Charming
Ah, it sounds like you've posted this somewhere else before, but I've not read it there so I will wait here for your updated releases. Glad to be seeing something new from you. -
I really should learn some Gershwin pieces sometime. A friend of mine played Rialto Ripples back when we were in high school, but I never dove into it.

I'm glad you took a chapter to explore these implications of the mate-finding process. I think you touched it with good care and thought.

Phew, some wonderful resolution here. Still some lingering questions about a few more things like the mysterious Victoria, but all in its own time. And Kai... no matter how much the Windjammer puts him in place it is hard to not have suspicions that he won't somehow retaliate.

The story isn't near finished yet, but thanks for the trust that things will get through the rough times ahead. You can trust in St. John more than in me, I reckon.

Oh man, I did totally miss writing in Bobby's reaction. Maybe I can squeeze it in somewhere for next week as a minor edit before it goes live... Maybe. As I told you guys before, all bets are off very soon.

Friedrich Kuhlau (1786-1832) was a Danish composer from the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras. He wrote a lot for piano and flute, and also opera. Much of his work, only in manuscript form, was lost in a house fire after he passed. I'm not sure how much has been found in copy, but you never know. Anyway, I was looking through some music earlier and stumbled over my book of his Sonatina's from my piano student days. This one is in A major, Op. 59 No. 1: (Not the best performance, but kinda difficult to get pros playing Sonatinas...)

January 02 2022 Breakfast with Jubilee was great. I know she’s only been gone since the 23rd of December, but sitting there with her I realized I missed her being around much more than I thought. She knew something was up with me almost right away. She said that I didn’t look as anxious or stressed as she expected. I shrugged noncommittally. She huffed, but before she could say anything else we were interrupted by the waitress wanting to know what we’d like to drink. I needed coffee, badl

Really nice short one. It definitely channels the sense of shock that comes when you find out something unexpected from someone you love... and for it to come out during such an intimate moment, as well... :-)

Good fun. Bryce is that function friend with a penchant for getting you in a little deeper than you intended. I am glad the drama wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it seems clear that Aleks has learned a bit about what is and isn't his, but at the same time wants everything still in a row for Liam. I wonder exactly where his head is at? We know where Liam's is... and it's hard to say what direction it's going one moment to the next. Is he crying wolf about Nathan while drawingetting deeper? Doesn't seem like it, but looks can be deceiving and sometimes people make decisions with their head and not their heart.

Heartbreaking. Please fix me?

Chapter 20 Close cousins
Lux Apollo commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 20 Close cousins
A chapter full of love and happiness. Though, with Patrick and Peter it's hard to not say that about any chapter. :-) -
Love the ending. That was the entire right there, that small bit that spoke volumes. :-)

Chapter 46 Shining a Bright Light into Darkness
Lux Apollo commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 46 Shining a Bright Light into Darkness
Great chapter - lots of hope-building. It's good to see Kellar starting to trust his path as well as his instincts, with Tobyn there supporting him along the way. Gotta love Arthur's crotchety moment too. -
I'm glad that little drop in of the call at the end was enough to temper things for you.
