Yeah, you are writing again. I loved this story. You had a nice smooth progression that showed how for years he had someone who loved him but gave him room to grow into being a man. Very sweet tale Lugh.

Hi all. i know I have few people who try to keep with me. I do apologize. I have been without the internet for about 2 weeks nows regularly. In order to get anything sent I have had to take my laptop to work. It isn't fun sitting in the car emailing work out and hoping it will all get back to you in time to meet a deadline. That is what happened with Amber Prince and I have to thank KC, Renee, and Cia who did what they could with the author being MIA. Dad has had a busy week. On Monday he had a growth removed from his leg.. The growth was large enough that the doctor couldn't give him stitches and the wound is slowly filling and healing. That was the start of the week. He had his Capsul Endoscopy on Wednesday. Considering the doctor has called yet with results I am not sure if I should be relieved or not. Into this stressful week I did have two bright spots. I got a card from Mark and a letter from Russ. What it meant to get mail that wasn't a bill or junnk mail I can't tell you. The smile and good will was just what I needed. I had hoped to try to get a mifi today but instead preorders for the Apple I-phone 5 started and you couldn't get near the mobile department at all. The internet will have wait tired of typing on my phone but oh well. The only fun I did have was ordering all sorts of new postcards to terrorize my friends with. Beware. They should also be on the look out for Halloween cards. I send them early. So hope that answers the questions of why I am not posting. I am trying to keep up (even post the prompts by phone), but can't do everything. Miss you all. WAYNE

Dark, I can't really say I blame you. The main problem was the fact I lost my internet just before this was due. It got a first read by my beta and I barely got it back out for a second check but no one could ask me to rewrite or correct. The story was fixed as well as it could be and posted for me. Any mistakes I claim as my own.

Thank you Carrington. Well this one started out as four pages and just kept growing. I kept needing more and more detail and it seems the more I added the more gaps I created but for the most part most people have enjoyed it.

You covered a lot in this tale Andy. Perhaps the worst thing anyone can experience is the betrayal by best friend. Here he was feeling he had finally found someone he could trust who had learned his darkest secret, only to watch his friend tell the whole school and be behind the tormenting and name calling. The near rape was hard to see. Well executed and it was nice seeing Jake come to the rescue. Overall your story was very well written, compelling, and something you should be proud of.

Well with his schedule I am just glad he had time to answer Renee's questions. Nice to learn a bit about Myr.

For someone who says they are so unlucky you seem to have found some wonderfully lucky things. The story is as uplifting and beautiful as the man who wrote it. May you both have many more years and rides on the merry go round KC.

The outcasts of two nations that are normally at war have fallen for one another. Leaders, soldiers, and men who know how to fight, but still are ruled by their pride and desires. For as many dichotomies you have given these two men they are still so human and drawn to one another. Nice job.

You wrapped up so many loose threads in this story. It was dark and gritty, but you really showed was a man fighting for his his own soul. I am glad Noah survived. This really was well done.

well i was surprised to find they were fifteen and even more at how calmly their parents took it. The sounds of the bed giving them away had me laughing but wouldn't want to be that age again for anything. Nice job Mike.

This was a beautiful story. I have never read about an event like this. You brought the country to life and the close relationnship between the friends made me long to be there as a witness. Very well done.

Yettie, bite your tongue! Another one hundred chapters or so! Good grief. I always enjoy weavig a good tale. The short story is an under appreciated form. As for the story telling, well aren't we all children? Glad you enjoyed it.
