I guess I answered your questions. Yeah, mom isn't the best. She let her pack, her alpha, and most importantly her family down. Yeah, the pack seems to forget that the Alpha and the Elder always take care of the pack. They put everyone's health and safety first. If Dan had done something that would be detrimental, he wouldn't have been able to stay.

I see it as the Alpha had an open door policy where he thought his pack had enough faith in him to ask if they didn't understand or believe in something he did. Basically, his biggest failing was in putting too much faith in people to do the right thing. When the truth comes out, well, not everyone smells like a rose.

Very different story, but well done Thorn. I enjoyed seeing angels fall in love. Thanks for the notes on the history from your research. It added another layer to your story.

The angels seem to agree that love is good. All except for Metatron, who seems to have lost his way. I hope Jair keeps his love.

Nothing like the nice guy not finishing last. I was happy to see Bas get his happy ever after. Just wish Troy got what was coming to him. Loved how Colin looks out for Liam. They are really sweet brothers. Beautiful story.

I feel for Philippe. It seems everyone has fallen to the wayside and he is left alone. You see the friendships fall away. I was ticked at Gerald. First he leaves Philippe alone while they are on vacation, only to try and renew the friendship on a whim. Gerald has a family and needs to decide what he wants. In the meantime, Philippe is entering his golden years in a house he wants, but alone. Sad situation.

I raced away from the mess and flew down the stairs heading toward the front door. The sun had yet to crack the horizon and the full moon was evident in the sky. I could see a car approaching through the autumn trees as it seemed to almost fly across down the roadway as the leaves rose like crashing waves around it. I knocked so hard on Elder Underwood’s door I nearly knocked it off its hinges. “What the …Daniel?” The Elder took one look at me and stepped back. “Come in and take a seat.” I could barely see. Thank you, @Nana Atuwa. This was written for the anthology, so by definition it is a short story. I have occasionally come back and filled in the gaps, so I'll never say no, more like we will have to see.

Mooooore! Ok, so we have wait. Like others I find Aaron to be abrasive, but also wonder if he might have some level of disability. He needs everything done his way. Even while in Malcolm's house he does things his own way. And while taking photos truly put me off, he doesn't do it to make fun of or put it out there. He goes to Fran to clarify. Almost seems like some student's I've had. Even with the short introduction, I really did enjoy Fran's take on life. Fran seems like she will do her best to make Aaron see what is possible in life, opening his world view. Malcolm is a sweet individual. You can see so much is going on in his world. I hope things become easier for him. 'Til next chapter and more answers. Great start Northie.

Well, my short one came out this week. My longer one will be out later. People seem to enjoy it. At least i haven't gone completely rusty. Lol. Worked everyday and am not off 'til Monday. So going to try and read the Anthologies beginning tomorrow. Can't wait. -
