CSR Book Club C S R Discussion: The Life Of Seeon By Comicfan
comicfan commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Well as the epilogue points out, his brother wanted more from Seeon. However, Mika blocked it. Whether Seeon's family will try again, the future is unwritten. -

I have learned never to say no Puppilull. Will just have to wait and see. -
Wow, this month just seems to be flying by. Here we are at another Friday, and that means it is once again prompt time. Just remember if you decide to write a story and it is under one thousand words you must make it part of a collection. I don't want to keep anyone in suspense so here are this week's prompts. Prompt 474 – Creative Tag – List of Words Use the following words in a story – a historic document, a reporter, a lunch bag, a rat, and a rose tattoo. Prompt 475 – Creative Tag – Sweet Seduction A new bakery has opened up in town. Everyone is talking about how good the baked goods are. They seem to make everything from rolls, bread, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and new concoctions seem to appear on their shelves daily. A side affect seems to be the number of people falling in love or getting their relationships back on track. What is happening at Sweet Seduction Bakery? Hopefully one or the other will tickle people's interest. Now let me present a story created from last week's prompts. There were three vastly different takes on the first line prompt. JohnAR gave a new chapter from his Metaverse. Curious as to what was going on? Want to read more? Of course you do. You can find the rest of the story here - https://www.gayauthors.org/story/johnar/metaprompts/53 So that is the prompts for this week. Remember to read, write, and comment. Until next time, be safe!

Well, we're slowly making our way into the year and we already are up to the third Friday of the month. If it is Friday, then it is time for some new prompts. So let me see what I can tempt our writers to create this week. Just a reminder - any story under a thousand words needs to part of a collection. Prompt 472 – Creative Tag – First Line “When did you expect me to get that done?” Prompt 473 – Creative Tag – Personal Pet The last thing you expected was a pet from your partner. However, they felt you shouldn’t be alone when they have to go out of town. What freaked you out was when they told you they had spent a lot of money on the new biotech pet which is created from your DNA. What sort of pet did you end up with and what does your DNA do to this personal pet? Last week there were two prompts as well as the poetry prompt. Looking at the Childhood Verse Poetry Prompt there were a few attempts. I really enjoyed J.HunterDone's take on this form of poetry. To see the rest of this wonderful poem please read it here - https://www.gayauthors.org/story/jhunterdunn/petersprobationarypoems/2 There were also works on the prompts from last week. It seems people enjoy the list of words prompts because three people took a shot at that one. While all three were varied and different, Graeme's story of a thrift shop sort of stole my interest. To read the rest please continue reading it here - http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/41214-prompt-471-creative/ So that is it for this week's prompts. Hopefully, someone will find a prompt interesting and take a chance to create something new and post it. As always enjoy the new work our authors are working on. Remember to take a time to read, write, and comment. 'Til next time be safe and enjoy.

Thank you for staying with it Avid. Seeon was one of two stories that were left in limbo due to issues I was dealing with in my life. I'm just glad I could bring it to a close and that it was in a way that left you fulfilled.

Thank you for the kind words mssri. I had plans to do so much more but for now I am glad that the story can stand on its own. I'm glad the story left you feeling that the story was complete. That fact that you love Seeon and Mika, as well as the rest is wonderful bonus.

I never like to do what is expected. I always hope the stories I write will be enjoyed. It is nice to know that Seeon and the Waza family were enjoyed. It might have taken me longer than I wanted but I am glad the story was enjoyed.

I try never to just give you information you will never see or need again. If I am mentioning Gods, family members, or history you can be sure it is for a reason. I'm sorry the ending was a while in coming but I hope you enjoyed it.

Epilogue Seeon stood before the window watching as the gardeners slowly pruned away the dead branches and prepared the ground for the spring planting. He knew that Mika could have done it in moments with his power. His husband was a life-bringer, his power was that of the earth. He brought life to the plants and flowers. With a wave of his hand he brought things to full bloom. It was why there were so many different flowers at their wedding. Mika had created them for his husband-to-be when he w

CSR Book Club C S R Feature: The Life Of Seeon By Comicfan

This should be interesting. -
Tim this started as a prompt for the anniversary of the site. I just sort of ran with it. Glad that it made an impact on you. I think so many of us get tied up with work we forget that work isn't the only thing in our lives. That is the message that story was trying to portray. Life is more than work, don't forget to live, love, and enjoy it.

Thank you John. I prefer my happily ever afters. Glad you liked it as well. Hope your new year is a good one.
-
Thank you Tim. I was a little late not having a computer but figured I would put out there for people to read anyway.

Thanks Lisa. I don't think Ben's money is as important as the fact he was sort of lost and found something with Bear. Glad you liked the story.
-
Thank you for the kind review Defiance. I'm glad you liked Ben and Bear.
-
CNC, this story is like any written for an Anthology or special contest, complete unto itself. Glad you enjoyed it.
-
You should always approach New Year's with some hope for change, Stephen. Glad the story made your gray day a bit better.
-
I'm glad you enjoyed it Avid. Happy New Years to you as well.
-
Thank you Caz. I had this written out for the Secret Santa. I'm very happy with how it turned out but give a lot of credit to Val who just kept pushing for more.

The snow swirled around slowly outside the front glass door. It was finally beginning to stick as William headed out the door to look for the cab. Mrs. Sacowitz stood in the doorway, watching as Will made his way to the street and looked down. “I can wait for the cab, William. There is no need for you to stay with me.” William turned and looked at Mrs. Sacowitz as she stood in the doorway, her hat on her head, covering her ears, the gloves, the cane, the long black coat, and her slightly bent
