  1. A Happy Belated Birthday, Chase...hope you had a great day, and that you have a great year--in experience as well as in writing (at least that way you only have to worry about working toward one of them )
  2. Happy birthday, belatedly if I did miss it...have fun, but remember...enjoy the cake!
  3. Yes, Jon, Lauglin, NV, is a town on the Colorado River...there are casinos just like in 'Vegas, but the resorts are geared for those who like to recreate in the aquatic environment of the river. The shows wrap up pretty early as well...the town pretty much shuts down around 10pm, although the casinos are open 24/7...it's about 2 hours from 'Vegas...
  4. In the US the best defense is a good offense...most of the radar guns have to be calibrated daily, even the newer models--don't know if it's true or not, I've only heard this--and the officer in the car is required to know how to do this calibration. Problem is, most of the time, the calibration kit isn't in the car, nor is it in the possession of the officer.
  5. So you enjoyed The Paris Casino & Hotel? Next time try eating at the Cafe Mon Ami Gabi, right out front on the strip--the entrance is to the left inside the casino entry from the strip. Best steaks you'll ever eat... Well, Jon, Thunder From Down Under is still at the Riviera (I think--I tend to look at the bodies more than the hotel name), the billboards are all over the airport. Bette is still there alternating in the Ceasar's Forum with Cher (who should be married to an embryo by now).... And even without cramming the rooms, a group block shouldn't be too costly for a rate--they're still building out there, and there's not enough business right now...next summer may see several construction projects halted if they don't start filling rooms. An alternative for those more into watersports (Recreational kind, not kinky sex) Laughlin might be a better option, right on the river...their rates are also competitive with 'Vegas. Other cost saving tips: Don't jump into a 'strip' hotel--try the Hard Rock (off strip) or Palace Station (also off strip, right across the freeway). There are several affordable options within Las Vegas.

    Voices

I understand this topic...there were guys in my High School who's voices were extremely deep...fortunately for me, one of my secret crushes was in that rare bunch. Unfortunately, we never hooked up, I think he may have been straight, although I've only seen him once since HS, while he was applying for a job where I worked at the time. The other guy I was attracted to was a freshman, but his voice hadn't changed yet...so it was a bit on the high half of midrange.
  7. Okay, everyone, the best way to book 'Vegas is to check with the LVCVB first to see which conventions are in town and when--then narrow down your dates from there. Big conventions make your hotel rates go up for that weekend, and holidays are even worse. Holidays are also bad with the airlines fares as the fares are usually affected for any date 2 weeks before or after a holiday (in any country). I think Linxe was wise to choose Las Vegas, but if this is done during summer, unless we're incredibly lucky enough to have a mild one, it's going to be sweltering during the day--if you're from a cooler climate, you'll literally melt due to the excessive heat. I've been watching the prices with Disneyland CA resort, and don't advise going there...the resort's lowest rates through Christmas are USD225 per night, and that's with a package. At least with 'Vegas you can get a special with the 4th or 5th night free...funbooks and other promo items...it's a better bargain, and it's been slow.

    five years

James, Giving that up and staying clean earns you a lot of respect in my book. It's not easy to give up anything that provides pleasure, and is easily more difficult when other issues surround it. I started a slide down my dark path (drinking) a little when I was younger (20 years ago) and stopped cold when I made myself sicker than a dying dog for three days (and I had planned on using those three days for a long, pleasurable weekend). Once I let that junk clear out of my system my life seemed to have a new tingle and I could appreciate things more. It's harder to stay off, than it is to stop, and harder to stop than to start out. But once we have quit long enough to not even think of doing it again we wonder why we ever started in the first place. Congratulations now, and on your continued success!
  9. Good thing you're attached, then...and not seriously into boating...
  10. Funny it would be your right eye...that wouldn't bother me at all...but the second they had to touch my left one, I'd be yelling bloody murder!
  11. Something Wicked This Way Comes...
  12. You Go, Nevin! but your comment on CD4 counts would be more appropriate if it said, "CD4 counts upward of 500 is excellent..." since mine have consistently run in the 1300-1800 range...my doctor said that, as I was a sick child for the most part, my system is running on constant overdrive.
  13. Happy Birthday, Steve, just remember to keep them all Wildones...
  14. Happy Birthday to Meeko, one of my personal "Top 10" authors here!
  15. I seem to recall my great-grandmother saying once or twice when asked where she was from, "Oklahoma! It's a nice place to be from!"
  16. I wish my High School, nevermind JHS, had a GSA running back between '77 and '80...would've made things a lot easier...
  17. Anyone ever watch Being Human on BBCA?
  18. Sorry, figured with your handle you'd be done already...
  19. And he's got some substance to himself, too! He's not too scrawny...

    Midget Sex

    Been there, done that...
  21. Hey, any sport where the guys have great asses (like football--it's the only reason I'll watch a game!) and packages in front on show (like baseball, God bless those jockstraps!)...get's my vote!
  22. That's a different perspective...but was part of someone's statement: Does this poll mean that hairy guys dislike their hirsuteness? Do you dislike it because of the summers in those two states? I think it's just silly, overall....I like smooth young men, and nice bodies without hair, or with underarm hair, and guys with lots and LOTS of hair...more to grab onto ...so it can be fun... Now, if I had a really hairy guy and wanted to do the whipped cream & honey & chocolate body paint routine, I'd definately offer to shave him completely first! It would grow back, and give him a chance to be 'smooth' for a few days...and it could develop into a repeatable routine...
  23. Still, I make my decisions on hairy guys on a case-by-case basis...I've been lucky so far... ...and wouldn't mind giving you a fair opinion...
  24. Marco, hairy or not is not something you can really change all that easily...personally I agree with you, the guy in the pictures is just lovely to look at...too bad I probably wouldn't understand a thing out of his russian mouth. So you're furry, so what? If I saw your picture, instead of his, would I react the same way? Maybe, maybe not...there are other factors...is your hair silky, or curly, thick or thin, soft or coarse...things like that...I've only been with one "super" hairy guy, and he was really adorable and sexy...so I treat all of this on a case-by-case basis...I've gotten more into personality at this point in my life, and if the personality goes well, and the 'fun' works well, then sleeping together shouldn't be an issue with fur...at this point I think it would be quite fun! How about a picture of you instead? There is a thread for that, you know...
  25. Lemme take #3, the last one, first...and I hate to answer a question with a couple of questions, but it does beg for it: What broke up the friendship? Do you think, or does he give any indication, that it's possible to repair the friendship? Does he seem lonely since that loss? #2 and #1: Start by trying to be a friend...be observant of attitudes, likes and dislikes...above all: Pay attention. You can't tell if someone's gay if they don't display the fact, sometimes even if they do act 'gay'--whatever that is--so you have to become a 'fly on the wall' and see what's going on. Some will disagree, but if you met me, for example, you'd never know...really....jeans, t-shirt, beard whiskers, a little extra wieght...it just doesn't scream, "I'm GAY!" at anyone. Once you've got an idea of these people's attitudes on LGBT issues, then you can decide your next choice of action.
