  1. The only problem with your poll, Mark, is that it doesn't ask what people prefer to do, just what their primary role is "Now". I top Rob, only because that's what works. Do I bottom? Yes, but I can't with Rob, and I am a size-queen--and not ashamed to admit it--my ex- was 9.5 inches , and it was always great--but that doesn't mean that topping now isn't great, there are just times when satisfaction is more important than role. Your poll, while accurate for an "at this point in time or in your relationship now" question, is far from valid. K.
  2. Graeme,It's refreshing to know that there are still some young people out there that have an unbridled passion for learning about the universe in which they live.I hope that your son's passion for learning is eclipsed only by your ability to provide him the means to learn.
  3. If I knew Greek, it might sound better....babelfish really choked on this one...
  4. Well...Mark, you've done it again and reduced me to a blubbering romantic in less than 5 chapters... I was sort of anticipating that Greg was going to HA out....but didn't expect it so soon, or in the office like that, I was expecting it on the yacht... I hope that Robbie's taking over the production co. doesn't change the dynamic between him and Brad, either. I don't think that Steph is going to be quite as promiscuous as he was in the past, if his mentioning a condom to Lou is any indication--they're at 1995, after all, and more aware of what's going on after having lost Roger, Mouse, Peter, Jake and Sam to the ravages of AIDS. In the last couple of weeks, I found it necessary to go back and read (not re-read) the entire CAP series--I needed the character histories so that I could better understand some of the references being made...I stopped at Be Rad Ch. 30, which was where I remember the rest of the story from (I started last year at Ch. 20 or so), just after Mouse came into the picture--which was also quite a whirlwind from there forward. Mark, go back and check the editing (and contextual spellings), now that your own writing style has improved, and you've got a good team behind you. I don't know if anyone's told you this yet, but after If It Fits is complete you should submit the entire series, as ONE book, to publishing houses--you're absolutely out of your mind if you don't.
  5. Rob & I are still using IE7...we have a travel agency application that hasn't cleared their interface products for IE8 yet, so we're stuck waiting...
  6. Happy Birthday, Bob...shouldn't you change your handle to "Older Bob" now?
  7. Since most of the advice is coming from writers, let's take something from another writer: Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
  8. Now the CA Supreme Court has created a separate and unequal class by allowing some of us to remain married, while preventing others of us from getting married.

    there and back again...

Seeing the Yosemite pictures reminds me of why I love living in California...and brings back the memories of the last time I experienced acrophobia up on Glacier Point... Nice to see you had a fun trip...now as soon as we get our motorhome back in hand we'll be making a couple camping trips ourselves...
  10. I couldn't post as I was not able to get on long enough to do so with Rob home today, but now that you're finally at a molestable age, Myr, have a great birthday, or rather, I hope you already had one....and don't do anything I wouldn't be willing to do myself!
  11. Then he's got a year to work on the savings account...Rush deserves at least a couple 10# bars of Ghirardhelli!
  12. And you'll notice that while he is cleaning that debris out of his rakers, than his eyes are closed in pleasure....
  13. Hope you had a happy one, Mark, don't worry, 46 isn't that bad...but I'll still be your guide through the years, as I turn 47 at the end of July...

    Long One, Lulz

Pete sounds like someone out of one of the stories here...<ugh!>...and not only mentally f'd-up, but a pathological liar as well. Good luck on the job hunt, hope you get whichever job you want the most...but I also hope you get one that keeps you moving and somewhat busy...the Sleep Number store in our area is dead slow...if you were there, you might be bored out of your skull...
  15. I was wondering when this was going to happen...ultimately, mothers and fathers really only want their children to be happy. Only the extreme cases make that kind of wall with any permanence. I'm glad to hear that your parents are opening up to the benefits of accepting that a child of theirs is gay. Good for you that they want to meet Matt, too! Best of luck to all of you!
  16. Mark, I have to agree with Mark M. The whole Summer of Love storyline was great...having Marcel sweep Max off his feet was a great turnabout...especially since the Brad/Robbie thing was being fouled up by Max in the first place...but Max didn't deserve the short end of the stick, either. Lark, otoh, was never number one for any of them...I'm just sorry that Marcel's Mercedes was never found, or the thief, although it had to be someone who frequented the J-bar or waited on unsuspecting bar patrons.
  17. I saw it on IMAX yesterday, and Pine's package sure did look authentic! (and being at the wheelchair seating, we were sitting in the 2nd row of seats...)

    Fighting Back

So, now you're on your own, and standing up for what you really believe in. This is huge, and great! You might want to check up on the kid in the hospital and see if he was released or kept for observation...
  19. Eric, I have to offer my sympathies. Although I didn't have a boyfriend at 24, or even at 16 while I was home, I did move out on them, twice, once at 22 when I couldn't stand the cigarette smoke anymore...and again when I found a boyfriend...at 25. So...while they knew I was gay, they wouldn't have allowed him in the house first...it went better than I expected afterward, though... If you've started all the wheels to get yourself on your feet at your friend's place, congratulations, it's a step in the right direction toward choosing the direction your life will take you... I hope things do work out for you, your sister sounds like a gem to have gotten your dad to be willing to work things out! (aside from the pain little sisters can be anyway ) Your mom however, makes mine look like a Sunday School teacher with the attitudinal difference...she needs some long term psychological counseling on her own... Glad to hear that Matt & your friend, both, were understanding of why you were upset and agreed to work things out with you, and not do it again, respectively--that shows how much he loves you, and how much your friend values that relationship, as well.
  20. *Applauds* Don't think for a minute that people here won't support you in your decision...being bi- is probably harder than being just gay...hard to explain the difference between the two, for me at this point.... But I don't feel that you should be put down because you find it okay to be intimate with women...and men more often than that. It's the rare breed that is a true bisexual and wants to have sex with both sexes at the same time, or intimate relationships with a member of each sex concurrently, whether sex is a 3-way or one-on-one with each... You will just have to become more comfortable with yourself, now that you know.
  21. So it is, so it is...why does Lou remind me of Lark, or...Jason? (who was f**king Sam{?} back in Claremont in MiM when Robbie & Brad left to go back to whichever coast they were headed for) Lou and Lark should hook up with each other... I hope Marcel keeps his wits about him, even if he thinks with his dick...I'd hate to see Lou screw things up for him when they're going so very well.
  22. I have to agree, Marcel seems to be a bit of a slut...or a sex addict...but for Max to keep letting Lark back in at this point in time just isn't right anymore. Marcel, aside from saying he's f**king one of the teachers at the university, just wants his love and companionship, he doesn't need his money like Lark does.
  23. Terpi, you misread, that was Stef and Marcel holding hands, while Greg was pretending not to listen... Mark, I've been reading this one with as much anticipation as Be Rad and MiM....and I keep, eagerly, awaiting each chapter. The relationships you build in these are just so intricately woven that you can't help but see them as real, living human beings.

    victim or volunteer?

They say kids say the darndest things...but when they ask a question, it can sure be a topper!

    Is it cheating?

Congrats on the resolution...hope things keep going well!
