    Chapter 2

This scene is so real. It's a family going through a sudden loss, and then a new baby, and all the details that a funeral involves. Little Maryanne's choosy about who she likes, isn't she? It's amazing how babies are like that. I already feel attached to these people.

    Chapter 1

Damned truck drivers! We have a family dynamic about to change big time. And it's just begun.

    Chapter 18

When the idea of a dark order first came up, I thought it was a sort of a Cathar relic that had survived the purge back in the Middle Ages. Now we know it's not, and it's totally different. These people are desperate fanatics, a fringe group determined to dominate and change everything in the world. Is it just me, or is it true that these crazed zealots seem to be popping up everywhere, under the guise of true faith? Down with religious zealots everywhere! Jason must prevail.

    Chapter 17

As the nature of the threat comes into better focus, Jason now sees the nature of his role in all this, and it must be a shock. I'd be overwhelmed. I hope that call to Gary from Leonard's apartment doesn't lead the zealots to Gary...

    Chapter 7

There's a lot packed into this chapter. We have some background history, the Double Strike virus, the political scenario, and that broken communication from the boys' parents...and love. This is a fascinating tale.

    Chapter 46

George as a woman? In a dress? HA! -This is going to be quite a trip. Jardines is intriguing, and knowing that he's got something to explain about his actions tells me already that he's not simply a cardboard villain. I am delighted with these surprises in this chapter. It's such an irresistible lure.

    Chapter 15

I'm glad to see that Gary and Alec are back in the picture, so that it's not just Jason and Leonard doing this all on their own. Alec seems like an asset to the team as well. Returning to England is a good plan too, but what will they come back to?

    Chapter 2 - Taken

Quite a way to wake up, but it's better than on an operating table in a spaceship I suppose. I wonder what an alien deity has in store for five jaded academics. He must be truly bored with his planet's other inhabitants, or tired of blind adoration. The faculty has arrived, and they will question and disagree with everything.

    Chapter 5

I like Angela. She's a wise woman with experience and knowledge of human nature, - the voice of reason. That won't help outside of the hospital. Her comment about Kei's parents was right on target: they are determined to have their own way no matter what. Taking advantage of Kei's weakened state is an opportunity for them to try and manipulate their son and attempt to control and change him. All Bonnie's kindness toward Alex at the end is simply another tactic to gain the upper hand over him. I don't like her at all, she's just another selfish, spoiled bitch.

    Chapter 12

And so Simon dies, alone. But at least without excessive pain and misery. Sad, yes. But he's not done yet, is he?

    Chapter 2

It's gone from bad to worse for Markus. His crappy life has gone to shit. I like the way this story's written though. We can only hope that something changes for the better in Markus' life or else this is just simply tragic. Is there hope?

    Chapter 44

I enjoyed this chapter featuring Calvert. As the story has progressed we have seen him develop and mature, and here he positively shines as a competent naval officer. Seeing things from his perspective gives him a new depth, and I like it. He's becoming his own man, showing how he critically evaluates (harshly) those around him, and his appraisal of character is on target. I'm much happier with him now he's hit his stride.

    Kiss and Tell

I'm happy that Michael has persevered so far, and even volunteered to take time off to help Asher recover. I am pleased at his devotion. It sounds like love. Of course the real test will be spending whole days together once Asher leaves the hospital. They haven't had too much time alone yet, so we'll all see. Asher's parents are so sweet and supportive, he's a lucky man in many ways. Good luck to you as well KC.

    Chapter 11

Three days 'till the end of the world? Now that's some pressure. I bet our Englishmen run into Lambert soon...

    Chapter 9

A curious obstruction, it sounds like a conspiracy to me. At least it was done in a nice, polite way....for now, that is.

    Chapter 8

It's a cruel, wicked world that Simon inhabits. One betrayal after another. First the lecherous old priest, then by the slut! We already know he dies in misery and frustration, but he's like a lamb going to the slaughterhouse.

    Chapter 6

Home at last! It should've been an excellent day...but no! Travis gets the really weird news that Mommy & Daddy made him a boyfriend! That would add a bit of creepy to things. I can just imagine who's faces he'll see the with the next kiss.

    Part 23

I like the new digs. Warrakan is a huge new work in progress. 300 million people? It's going to be a busy place. Meanwhile, K74 is ramping up for another confrontation. If only they could put all those resources to a positive goal...

    Chapter 6

The last line says it all. Are the monks and the abbot in league with the devil? It's one more burden to weigh on Simon.

    Chapter 5

I'm enjoying the mystery, and the pace of the story. I also want to know what Antoine can find out about Simon's fate. Poor kid, life was hard back then, and his just seems so particularly sad.

    Tricker.

This story is a tease, -just leading on, as bit by bit you are drawn into the spirit of it. A lively spirit indeed! Light and sweet, and entirely pleasant. At first, I wanted to know what country Tan came from, with all those distinctive customs. Later, I had to laugh when the truth was revealed. Now, I have a serious question: Is that hamburger something that exists in Melbourne? Or is it only imaginary? I never know with you... You do have quite the imagination. Thanks for this story, it made me smile.

    Chapter 2

This is an interesting premise, and the setting and mood are well portrayed. I'm interested to see where this story goes from here.

    Chapter 38 -

I love the visual aspect of this chapter. Over the edge, behind the waterfall, then what, more strange gnomes? Maybe a cave full of them?
