    Chapter 28

They finally meet again. I've been waiting. That one thread has kept me anxious for chapters now, because I knew David would come back. Good thing for them both.
  2. Oh, Siggi's in a bad way. Way bad! No half measures for him. He's over the top with anger, grief, self-destruction, and needs professional help.

    Chapter 27

Time advances, Betty continues in oblivious obstinacy, Micah in indecision. He should put down a hat and play. It might do him and the world a favor and give them all something to enjoy.

    # 224 Stabbed

This one you could easily carry on with, the symbolism, mystical spirituality... The crime itself screams for resolution.

    Chapter 26

Idaho is over, and I know Micah is still lost, but he made one friend, who he may never see again, and who may end up on the streets soon. The school seems to be a place where parents get rid of their problem boys, but does nothing to support or prepare them for life ahead. I wonder in Micah will ever be able to rebuild a relationship with that stupid woman he calls a mother. She'll never change, and even though he has, and matured, he doesn't want to go back to that concert life. Betty can't settle for an ordinary Micah, and he probably knows more about what he doesn't want than what he does. I wonder how long the parents will support him if he doesn't play their way. They've already lost one son. You'd think they'd learn.

    Chapter 1

This seems like a very human story, despite the ominous, rather creepy title. I suppose the title first got my attention, but getting to know the brothers and their plight drew me in, so now I want to read more.

    Chapter 23

This was a fitting way to end this part of the story, new friendships, possibilities, and even a veiled bit of foreshadowing other things entirely. Dylan will fit in just fine. You know I'll keep an eye open for your next story.

    Chapter 1

Kei has a really bad day, and knowing it's his fault makes it even worse. Now he's having a seizure or a breakdown, and there's not much that will put things into a new perspective faster than either of those. I'm curious to know where he wakes up.

    EPILOGUE

The lady's a wicked, evil bitch! I was beginning to suspect, but it's clear now. Poor Master Archer died like most of his family, -quite tragic. The prospects for Sam's survival aren't good, and it all seems to rest with Matty. This has been a fabulous tale, thanks for sharing it!

    Chapter 24

So he's in Idaho now, poor kid. I think Micah'll learn how to make the best of it, but he'd better learn to love nature, since the outdoors is about all there is on offer. I met a distant cousin one May at a family reunion in Maryland. He said he hadn't seen green grass since the previous August. He was from Idaho. I imagine everybody there has to learn to be some kind of survivalist, or die in the winter. Harsh place!

    Chapter 6

These two are so in love, and they have such a lively rapport that it's never dull. This story is a pleasure to read for those reasons alone, but I enjoy watching the pair grow and improve as they get to know each other better, -curing each other.

    Book Cover

Lovely cover. I like this story already.
  13. Sam, what's got into you? Some thing, we can only guess at this point. I know it's no good, and that's certain. How else could he forget everything that ever mattered and the people he loves. It's an evil. Crash, boom, and there you leave us? I'll call you wicked too if you leave this tale in suspension for very long.

    Chapter 22

Megan is a wise woman. that last paragraph says it all. That being said, I don't think Micah is ready to answer all her questions. I don't know if any 17 year-old could. It's too much to ask too soon. But it does maybe set his mind to the matter, and he needs to do that.

    Chapter 2

I can smell the tea from here. Promises and prophesies, -strong ones, emerge. This is a very sensual story.

    Chapter 20

THEY WON ! How brilliant... It all seems so simple now. But it's not, or has been so easy, has it? The second time reality was better when played out. If only... Thanks for the wonderful story, you can do that every day. -But then I'd get spoiled.

    Chapter 21

Kids will be kids. Until they can be tried as adults, -that is. Some kids need to break away, be something all their own. Micah is one of those who needs to test and see what he can do, and he's been deprived of so much freedom to find out for himself that it's come down like a flood. He's 17 and got caught playing with matches. Reality hits, hard. So goes life.

    Chapter 11

I'm not a fan of bloody, violent stories, but this one I'm really enjoying. There's a cold detachment here, along with a delightful macabre flavor that I love. The fight scenes have been original and almost funny. Fucking in the elevator in the middle of their escape was...so shamelessly wicked! I liked Mark right off, and Victor is beginning to grow on me as well. I've enjoyed this story more with every chapter.

    Chapter 18

Micah, he's such a trooper. In the middle of the minefield he manages to shine again. And Mrs. Howard, god love her, gives him hope that he might not have to re-live his disgrace. I suppose things could be worse.

    Chapter 17

Words not of love? For dear Sabrine? The sun won't melt her, but words will? That town's become too small for the both of them while Guy picks at his lute. I wouldn't have thought that Sabrine would swoon because of a turf war over strumpets and whores. After all, she is.....? But then, this is the age of the troubadours.

    Chapter 4

Calmly enforced suspense. That's what you have while waiting on a trauma patients to wake up. There's so much you want to know, but you have to wait. Then when they awaken, you can't be sure what you'll get. You always get anticipation. At least Hugh has the little hurricane to lower the anxiety. The little things make all the difference.

    Chapter 17

Ramping it up in this chapter. This period seems crucial to everything that may follow in both Micah's life and the future of the country. This really is an amazingly fascinating plot... and deliciously confusing.

    Chapter 22

Happy birthday Dusty! I don't think he'll be forgetting this one. Thanks for the wonderful chapter. There are a lot of threads out there to tie into the story, but it was nice to have the boys just relax and enjoy life for a while.

    Chapter 10

Oh my! It's bath time again...bloodbath!
