    Chapter 4

Simon's got a serious crush on Alexander, and I'm still wondering why. Alexander is such a distracted, inhibited person, can he even let loose enough to allow himself to love? Also, how does one make chewy tea?

    Ready

I would have written earlier but this chapter burned a hole in my f---ing screen... -and it's still smoking.
  3. Wicked Auntie Margret. There's no heart to her, and she uses her angry bias toward everybody around her to confuse the real issue that she's a lonely, aging woman who doesn't love anybody because she doesn't even love herself. It's made her a shamelessly hateful bitch, and if she can't be happy, then nobody else can be either.

    Part 27

Wirrin's da bomb! The ultimate weapon. The AI's know it and his friends are beginning to see it too, - even Sonic. The Rogue and his Cadre don't stand a chance against such an opponent, not that they'll stop trying to fight... I get the feeling that this chapter and the previous one are building up to something big. Why's that?

    Chapter 3

Simon is a treasure. What's not to love? He's a truly nice man who's got many talents, and has a generous and affectionate nature. He can cook too. So he's a bit impulsive, but he means well, and has patience nevertheless. Luce is right: he's a catch. Alexander is sweet, shy, and painfully reserved. I imagine that Simon may intimidate him a little. Are they compatible? We'll see... Simon and Luce have such a charming rapport, and he's totally devoted to her. She's a lucky girl to have him as a friend. I worry about both of them when she marries James. He's so insecure and uptight. I can't believe he's the one already fussing over the wedding dress. He's such a dweeb! I'm becoming more attached to this story with each chapter.

    Chapter 1

Time travel, -ultimate deja vu. I enjoyed Goon, and since I hadn't read the original posting of this one, I'm delighted to read it now. Back to the 80's? How the world has changed...Yes, brown cords were popular. I had a pair too!

    Chapter 1

This mission is a bit like a fatal diagnosis, isn't it? The way that the news itself will change things almost as much as the event itself. You portray this damning situation beautifully, showing how the most beautiful things in life are so fragile and ephemeral. Who can blame him for waiting to give the news that will ruin everything?

    Chapter 1

This scene seems real. What's the saying?: 'Love breaks under the baggage of time' (something like that). I want to see how Noah handles it. He's all alone now and his Ex has his trophy twink. Time to move on and grow, and it's better done late than never.
  9. A strange new job for the trio, but whatever else, -it's a job and somebody's got to do it I suppose. I'd hate it.

    Chapter 3 - Lost

Yes, it's changed, -much the same, only different. I feel bit like the faculty in the car. It's all good though. Just keep going...

    Chapter 2

Simon seems to be a realist with imagination, and an easygoing but restless nature. I'm enjoying his reaction to Alexander and his own academic and shy self. Your style is a pleasure to read, and I always like that. Will the two find that true connection that Simon's been waiting for? Is he even gay? I'm curious to find out.

    Chapter 5

This chapter took us through the end of Cody and his wicked legacy, then into a beautiful, tender afternoon where a young and insecure boy takes a gentle but unbroken mustang for a first ride. That part was so wonderful, -the way you conveyed the delicate communication between Eric and the horse...It describes so perfectly the way two tenuous beings become stronger together and how enlightening the experience can be for both. It was a joy to read. Lot's of surprises coming up, and I'm looking forward to them. There is one thing that I'd like to know: what happened to Maxxie?

    Chapter 48

I remember how this all started with a bump in the night. Of course, Pasha will be the mediator, -having just been a regular man only recently. It would be an awful burden, all this god and trinity business. I'd want some time off, enough to adapt and let it all settle in.
  14. Lovely verse, and three different views not at all the same but are all true.

    Chapter 9

It seems that with each chapter comes more pain for Hugh. He's certainly hell bent on confronting it. I'm not sure if this re-living of the past isn't just magnifying it all. His return is certainly arousing interest, and that may not be a good thing in this small community. Could get him into trouble... and I find it all very interesting as well.

    Chapter 61

George Granger meets Jack Aubrey! That made me laugh. So Jack is a blackguard, is he? The Leander couldn't possibly be big enough for both blondes.
  17. Living surrounded by a graveyard wouldn't bother me a bit. Growing up, we found out there was an old, forlorn graveyard next door to our family property. It was fascinating to me as a child, but I can still remember how sad it was to see the graves of all the children. There were 4 or 5 kids in one family who died all before the teenage years, and that was an eye opener to me at the time. I hadn't thought about that in ages. Your story brought it all back.

    Zombie Diets

Yes, they're out there, and I've met them. They are everywhere... Run Kitt, -Run!

    Chapter 60

Goodbye to Humphreys and Bacchante. Both did their duty well, and will be missed. Thankfully the stores and treasure were saved. Now to find out the fate of Eastwyck and the men with him. I hope they didn't meet the natives like the others did; -the sharks have fed too well already! Thanks for another fine chapter Mark.

    The Note

An excellent, absorbing tale of manipulation, an ordinary man's reaction to being the object of it, and how he neutralizes it in the end. I'm so glad Jake didn't lose control and knock Versace's block off. I would have tried to! Jake is a true gentleman. This tale makes me feel so lucky, -thanks.

    Black Sleep

'Black Sleep'? Does this mean you killed off poor, dissatisfied Claude? Or have you set him up for another misadventure?

    Chapter 22

So, we finally meet Alexi's family. They seem to be close, caring, and supportive. That's a real plus, since I was worried they would be domineering and oppressive. We'll see how they take to Josh. I think it'll go well. That is not the big worry; -it's this looming separation. You have made it quite difficult for our lovers, and there will be pain. I am very curious to know how you'll work that out. I'll be watching and waiting...

    Chapter 59

What appallingly bad luck Humphreys has! A sailor's survival was tenuous at best in those times, and even after being forced to bear Sir Tobias the whole trip, this situation seems hopeless. At least Maidstone was at last made useful as fish food. Too bad about the others. Poor Captain Humphreys needs a break. This novel never stops amazing me. Thanks again, -you really woke me this morning with this chapter!

    Chapter 11

At last, Kei's able to start communicating. It will be a long process to recovery, and Alex is fortunate to have the nurses behind him, -especially his favorite. She's a godsend, and doesn't trade in all the vagueness so common to medical staff. Kei's parents are determined to undermine the boy's relationship, and see their son's current weakness as a perfect time to get control of him. Nasty, selfish assholes, aren't they? At least Alex isn't alone, because he's going to need a lot of support.
