You know exactly which words I mean: *@%#*,*@%#*, and oh yes, that too. We avoid those in polite company or when little ones are around, but sometimes it’s very difficult not to use them. Fortunately, there are several proven methods to work around the problem. # - 249 Your main character’s sister visits with her five and three-year-old kids. She is famous for her creativity in avoiding bad words. Write an epic rant about her new boss. (Without using bad words of course.) # - 250 Someone negotiates with an important albeit infuriating person. Perfect control is essential. And again, no bad words, loud gnashing teeth, growling, or extensive breathing. Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. Also, please remember that stories less than one thousand words must be posted as part of a collection. Matteo Went Ahead Anthology 2024 Summer clung to its reign this year. It was the second week of October, and the thermometer showed temperatures of about twenty degrees Celsius. Most of the trees were still green, with the occasional yellow dot. Daniel and I stood in the wide-open sliding door. The newly renovated porch now had a ramp. Heavy jackets, hats, and scarves weigh down the coat rack, and underneath boots stand in muddy puddles of molten snow. Brr...
