A kaleidoscope yes, or a mosaic and the glue were the seasons. Thank you for reading and commenting on my stories within stories, Parker.

Spring into an adventure--a blind date. Find me and my two lavender roses. But then TWO sees bright yellow daffodils and a pair of warm brown eyes. ONE! The roses are easily forgotten. Rhubarb upside-down cake with cream to share, coffee with milk and green tea with lemon; two different cups and a common denominator-- it begins. Summer The two-some nibble early strawberries-- a tiny balcony is their island, where dahlias in blue

My attempt to sort through thoughts, feelings, and erratic ideas using poetic forms.

I love to drizzle syrup on my waffles, pancakes, and lace my homemade pecan gelato with it, but to my shame, I never thought about how it's made or when the sap is harvested. In short words, your poem made me read several articles about the sugaring season. The educational part aside, I loved to follow the personal thread woven through the words even more.

Chapter 1 The Foretelling and Among the Ruins
Aditus commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 1 The Foretelling and Among the Ruins
I read this days before, but I needed time to comment. As often with your poems, I didn't know what to choose 'sad' or 'love'. I decide is never wrong. Both poems grabbed my heart. Spring lets the ice melt and invigorates us. I would never want to live in a place without seasons. The windmill metaphor was hard to endure. I shouldn’t keep that buried, right? No, you shouldn't—a decision of a wise man. ~Adi -
Your poem is a great interpretation of the anthology theme. The way of finding yourself divided in seasons, perfect. I really like the title too. Thank you, for sharing.

This felt kind of personal. Did you have someone, two or three in mind? Do I register a pinch of schadenfreude?

You're right, we always look at/for the sun all throughout the seasons as if it were our guiding star. My favorite part was This sun of ours Conjures up that single Legendary summer's Day Thank you, northie.

Yes, yes this word has been used in connection with yours truly.

Around here it looks a lot like spring which means I feel either super energized---or I’m tired. Luckily some GA members sent me prompt ideas so I can find a comfy spot to take a nap in the sun. Thank you @Thirdly and @Lee Wilson. PT #211 You’re a closeted gay man at a company gathering, for example, a conference of some kind. The company brought in a unique kind of entertainment and you’re attracted to one of the entertainers. With their costumes, you can’t tell if they’re male or female. You decide, what the heck, and ask them to meet you later. They’re not what you expected. PT #212 Under My Skin: A mage with lightning ability goes head to head with a rival mage with an affinity for wind. But, when they are both chosen to train under the master mage, they are forced to work together. As they begin to get underneath one another's skin, the more the master mage seems pleased with the development. Why does it feel like he's instigating them on purpose? Last week, I looked in the basement for a pot for my new palm tree. You wouldn't believe how much crap I found there. Time for the next yard sale, but I digress. PT#205 Tell the story of the forgotten rocking chair pushed into the corner of a basement and covered in dusty cobwebs. PT#206 Three friends clear out the basement of an old house. One opens a rotting kitchen cabinet and finds a moldy box with a set of gleaming, pristine chef knives. When he picks up the smallest, he hears a voice in his head. What does it say? I could add the genre Literary Fiction - Cultural to one of my stories, but it's an anthology story and locked.

It's definitely okay if you explain it. You can do it in the chapter notes, as you said, or some kind of glossary. Or you find a more creative way and let one of your characters translate the word to the others and your readers, for example.

I drank a lot of tea at work during the last weeks with no sayings. Very boring, but today I found one I liked. Compassion is your strength.

These prompt ideas were inspired by a discussion on the site. Would people read stories that take place in a foreign country? How difficult is it to write these kinds of stories and still find readers on an international site like GA? Does an American want to read a story about characters falling in love in Denmark? On the other hand, what do we have to do to write a story taking place away from home, like space or for example, China, India, Africa, or wherever your muse takes you? Let’s try: PT #201 Write a short piece about characters taking a stroll in your hometown. Sometimes places in the same country seem foreign to us. PT #202 Write a short piece where your characters, human or not, live far away from your home. Happy research. Why not? A large part of one of my earlier stories took place in Sicily. I'm having vampires and wolves running all about Venice, Italy in another story. Oh, yes, and in Cologne. I love to read about places and people from all over the world. And space.

It was horrible! I lost my scarf and my ears almost became wings.
