Chapter 1 - The Giving Trees
Aditus commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 1 - The Giving Trees
Jeff planned this very well. I wish more people would create something good like this after overcoming a bad time in their lives and think of people who might be in a similar situation and a way to help them. -
Story! I meant story....

I know at least two people @Valkyrie and @Cole Matthews, who once filled twenty-four little boxes with stories and poems... One more?

Soooo, the Holiday season is afoot. Some are already talking about Christmas parties and ‘oh my, what do I get whoever?’. I am the lucky Prompt Team member who throws their Santa hat in the ring. PT# 185 Someone finds an Advent calendar in a rusty box among the Christmas decorations. Twenty-four empty little paper bags are waiting for a small daily gift given from December 1st to 24th. What do they fill them with and who gets them? PT# 186 Let yourself be inspired by a Giving Tree. Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. Also, please remember that stories less than one thousand words must be posted as part of a collection If you check the subgenre 'prompt' in your story tags, then people/readers can find everything here: https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/subgenre/prompt/

Shit! You're right. Okay *clears throat*. After they're calm and collected again, they go to the souvenir shop and buy a huge spectacled bear for the tattoo artist. The MC is a very peace-loving person, otherwise they'd.......

Whenever someone finds a story of mine, reacts, and comments on it I'm happy. It is among my favorite surprises. There's no Johnny come lately. Thank you very much, Bill.

As a member of GA's prompt team, I'm always thrilled with what authors do with our little nudges and I'm honored when they (the nudges) inspire a story, a poem, or make the plot bunnies hop to whatever outcome. Nothing is mine.

I had never heard of A Cosa Servono le Mani, even though Italian songs floated through the house all the time, naturally, which kind depended on the listener and their age. I fondly remember Adriano Celentano, Umberto Tozzi, Eros Ramazotti, and many more. Who never sang 'voglio fare l'amore con te' at the top of their lungs in the grocery store hasn't lived IMHO.

Here I am thinking about how to comment because everything relevant has already been written/said. Who doesn’t love a Maine Coon Cat? Exactly. Who? What a lovely tribute for a dear friend. Absolutely. Sweet story.Thanks. *Nods.* etc..... Thank you! I greatly enjoyed this story, with only a touch of tragedy, as it is a tribute.

To answer your question: Of course, you don't want me to continue, right? I suggest folding space.

Here I was, expecting a huge drama and then I could leave with a smile. Thank you!

Next to it was a bookcase lined with his treasures. Seeing them helped him calm a bit. His treasures were such a comfort to him, all carefully arranged and placed most pleasingly. Each was showcased, without being obvious to anyone, but himself. This had me pause for the very first time. Still, I never expected this kind of twist. Well done.
