Soon we will switch to summertime/daylight saving time and have to get up one hour earlier. There are those people who love it; they jump out of bed with a bright smile. And then there’s me, my dragon, the cats, and the dog, who start the day more or less sleepwalking. What about you? This time, we will write about the problems the switch causes. PT Prompt #329 Every clock adjusts itself to the right time. Every clock? No, the one your protagonist always uses shows the old time. They remember to change to summertime, but sadly, in the wrong direction. A day of horror ensues. Or not? PT Prompt # 330 Celebrate the new season, either with a poem, a song, or a short flash fiction piece. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsqlXkkEKxI Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. Also, please remember that stories less than one thousand words must be posted as part of a collection. killer legs: ergo... no virtual brownie points for me. 😪

Once upon a time, my friends and I played this game where you had to draw something, and the other group tried to guess the subject, film, saying, etc. So, I thought we could draw with our words this time. PT Prompt #325: Draw a well-known movie title without actually naming it, linking it, or using any other electronic tricks. Just your words. No AI. Who guesses right and earns virtual brownie points? PT Prompt #326: Next one: Draw a song. Humming is allowed. Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. Officially, I’m off until March, just dashing in to prompt you. PT Prompt#319: Ari cleans up their wardrobe. After a while, they sit in the middle of the ‘to keep and ‘to donate’ piles, clutching a woolen, bright blue knit hat with tears running down their face. Tell the hat’s story PT Prompt#320: First line: “This tastes like shit!” Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. I wish you all wonderful Holidays. This wolf needs to sleep. See you next year.

Thank you all for picking up the gauntlet.

Yesterday, I went to work forgetting the thermos with my Advent Calendar tea; no biggie, but it was an uncomfortable bus ride. Nothing to do with my hands, cold, and I noticed lots of people wrapped up in scarves, hats, and whatnot, even though it wasn’t that cold, which resulted in sweating humans. Eew. Now, I want you to write about everyday mishaps. PT Prompt #316: Alex forgot the salad they promised to bring to the potluck party at work. While it’s standing perfectly seasoned and wrapped in cellophane in the fridge at home, they have to improvise, quickly. No store-bought dishes allowed. Tell us how Alex works around it. PT Prompt#317: A.J. lost his phone. When he calls, the police answer. Explain. November CSR Discussion Day: Ash's Marriage Trigger by Thirdly
Aditus commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Late as always. Loved the interview. Can't wait to read the projects... -
Do you sometimes wish you had another job, apartment, car, family, or lived in another country? The list is probably endless and different for everyone. PT Prompt #312 Someone wakes up in the morning, and it seems the fairy godmother has granted them their greatest wish. What is it and what are the consequences? More importantly, are they happy? PT Prompt #313 Someone visits a magical movie theatre where they can watch how their life would be if they’d taken the roads they always regretted not taking. Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts. This is me throwing darts at a numbered list of genres and subgenres. All totally random.

With this story, you gave voice to the uneasiness I always feel whenever I see an established plant, be it a perennial or a tree, being relocated. Thank you.

November CSR Feature: Ash's Marriage Trigger

I might have kinda thought of you when I wrote it. And how well it turned out. -
The other commenters said it all, so I just want to thank you for writing a tale that made me happy and smile. I was never a fan of Western until you wrote one.

The conclusion is to live unplugged. Ciao . Unexpected take on the theme. I love the unexpected.

“You romanticize thermodynamics now?” “I flirt scientifically.” I loved their interdisciplinary conversations or banter. By merging their competences and skills, they got the job done—great idea and character design. By the way, around here we smudge with sage.

Thank you. I always worry, lol. ❤️

I'm glad. This one was a little unusual, methinks. Hope you're feeling better.

Communion I knew there had to be a cold nose nudging your hand at the end, doing their job of being there for us (you). Pumpkins on my deck announces I am still here celebrating life I can't help but add in my head: and defying ghosts. I lift my mug to your big blue one in understanding. Thank you, Gary.

It's always fun to go against expectations, and you did it well.
-
Now, the comment on your story: I liked the descriptions, the language, and above all, the open ending. Well done.
-
Do you have a thing for innocent souls?

Just to underline that I'm qualified to comment on the story above: My laptop is named Zach III, my antho story started with I am a creature and I'm a wolf. Carola isn't judgmental, she only adopted scales. This was brilliant, put a smile on my face, and I don't think badly about my habit of giving the numerous variations of my documents names that only make sense to me anymore. Thank you.

After reading this story, I became curious about the hellbender and learned about some of its other vernacular names: lasagna lizard, snot otter, mud devil. Maybe they inspire you to a spin-off.

I knew I would love this story even though you ranted about waterfalls and having to read about pheromones and so on. I guess that was part of the story's evolution.
