Nope, not yet. *insert evil laugh* I for one don't think that Gideon is aware he is being followed. I think he is too far into his plan to let anything distract him. He would know and sense other vampires; but why suspect they are after him if they are not doing anything to stop him. That makes sense to me. Oh wait... Kavan needs to stay with Gideon and make sure that he protects him from himself. Haha, exactly.
-
I'm relieved. I felt bad for not being able to post this earlier.
-
Because he did it before? Or because the author is team Kavan?
-
Yes, he would find out if Kavan would follow him alone, but it's mostly Van who follows him and she is a very experienced tracker, she knows how to hide Kavan too, at the lake for example. Now that Kavan has an idea of Gideon's goal, he needs to get his sword to him and project him in a fight against the ancient vampire and his minions. I really love your idea that Kavan will be able to protect Gideon, and you have every reason to assume this as he did it before. At the moment though, Kavan is still in strangle-your-bloodsong-and-yell at-him-mode.
-
We need a *shrugs* reaction. Anyway, you're confident he would survive the attempt? I like it.
-
Add a Haha to the Love. You got his number!
-
Hah, another one! No one believes in Kavan's skills. So I ask you too, Terry: Why doesn't he send him home? I love this.
-
That would be terribly rude. I am halfway sure that Gideon knows he is being followed by his bloodsong. Why doesn't he send him home then?

Traveling as a vampire was different from traveling as a human; being a newbie vamp, I had to avoid any kind of sunlight. Throw in a jet plane that could be delayed for various reasons, and it gets even more interesting. Fortunately, Caspian knew someone who knew someone who owns a plane with a neat light-tight compartment where I could sleep and wait until sunset with my day guard watching the door. Emil had everything perfectly organized for our onward journey. A car with black-tinted win

This architect designed some building at the harbor of the city where I live. I could admire his work every day, if I wanted. Or Godzilla rearranged an entire block.

Writing is an art that sometimes is inspired by other forms of art, including music, architecture, painting, or sculpture. Pt: 107: Someone drew a stairway with chalk on a street. Your MC sets foot on it and pretends to walk downward; suddenly he enters a basement. Describe what he finds. Pt 108: What happened?

A favorite word, as soon as I'd understood what it meant. -
I could talk to myself... but I need to write a different story, otherwise some might get angry with me.

I think my grandma used this phrase sometimes. -
Oh, my! That's a real blast from the past. Thank you!

I decided to leave the old stories as they are, even though there's one, a favorite, I itch to edit/rewrite because there are some outdated facts that I'd like to update. It's not about style but science, hm. Maybe one day.

There might be guidelines, but they go up in flames as soon you read them.

What can I say, you're an observant reader.

Special Announcement! 2023 Writing Events

It looks as if it's going to be a busy year. -
We're on it. Beside the pesky thing called work, and sorting ideas, throw in an equally pesky virus. I know excuses, excuses, but the next dose is soon to be admitted.
-
Well.... Anyway, isn't that why Myr presents these words, to get us out of our usual trot and try something new? To develop a new sprachgefühl?
-
Thank you, Phredd2. The next chapter is almost done.

PT#101 You moved a bookcase to make room for the New Year's Eve party and an old atlas falls down. Inside you find a yellowed New Year's resolutions list. Try to answer the wh-questions who, when, and what and create a story. PT#102 You get an email from yourself on New Year’s Eve warning you about a mistake you’ve made in the past year. What did you write to yourself? Happy New Year! Your Prompt Team
