It's the highest praise when you tell me I made you experience snow through my writing. Thank you!

    Prologue

Hi Silver! I promised you and @Blueyes57 I would complete the story come hell or high water. I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to read your comments while you're re-reading the story.
  3. It's all a matter of perspective *waggles eyebrows*
  4. Two hearts beat in our chests: the noun heart and the poetic heart. *snort*
  5. Pft. Yeah, right! I'm German. Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz (I won't translate that)) Or Lebensabschnittspartner...(Temporary life companion)
  6. Coughing violently helps nowadays.
  7. You came up with some great ideas. I especially like the pot luck. No one can complain about not finding the right theme anymore. Another problem might be the reception. New authors or those without a larger fan base could be discouraged by the lack of reaction. Soooo. Read the stories, even when you don't know the author. And when you did , react. It's easy-peasy. Maybe you could say a few words too? It's all we get/want. Well, a review is always cool too. Okay, I shut up.
  8. It's a great game. I even started a second round before Pathfinder Kingmaker pulled me in.
  9. I'm still ashamed I threw my math books out the window after graduating high-school.

Thank you, Val for your help and comment. They might never meet again but I imagine this conversation will have a Butterfly effect on their lives.

Thank you, Jeffrey! At first I was afraid everyone would guess the saying after having read a few words and it would spoil the story. I'm glad it caught you by surprise.

Sometimes you can feel it if someone will be a good listener. Talking to a stranger can help to sort out your thoughts. I had someone special in mind, when I wrote Andy. Thank you for your comment, Tim.

    The Teacup

Thank you! ...the man is fully comfortable and accepting of his sexual nature... As Andy said: Because you're not dead. They might meet again and discuss sexy guys who knows, sitting on their bench.

    The Teacup

Exactly! The end of their relationship is painful now, ultimately it might be better for him though.Thank you, dughlas!

    The Teacup

I agree, plus there has to be trust for a relationship to work. Thank you, Carlos!

Thank you, Gary! I like that you're happy for him. His relationship was doomed to failure, as there was no trust.

    The Teacup

Andy sat on her bench by the lion fountain. Lifting her face to the rising sun, she enjoyed the tranquility and peace of the early morning, before the other joggers crowded the park. Then she heard crunching gravel, she opened her eyes and squinted. She was no longer alone. She’d already seen the man on her second round, near the butterfly garden. Andy hoped he would pass her bench. No such luck. After hesitating a moment, he sat down at a distance with an ungainly thud. With his head bo
  18. A brief encounter at the park and a saying becomes true to life.
  19. Wonderful, Gary. I met your mother. I love the contradiction: a simply complicated man As always, I enjoyed your poetry very much.
  20. So many things come to mind. I will use this word often.
  21. I enjoyed the story very much. It was very entertaining, I couldn't stop until I finished the last chapter.

    The Story

You briefly played with hope, then you threw me back into the cold, wild sea.To be forgotten by others is bad, but lose myself, that's true horror. Well done.

    Accused

You handled a delicate topic perfectly.

    Hill of Candles

A fascinating tale, in fact, I read it twice afraid I missed something in the first round.
