I feel like such a cheater. I came to the story late and have devoured it over 2 days ending with the latest instalment featuring Silas and Oliver's wedding. I did however miss out on the frisson of the waits between chapters. Lovely chapter and lovely story.

I'm glad that we start to see a bit of the personal side to Toby. So far with less trauma, we see less into his head.

In spite of the major plot cliffie at the end of the chapter, the part I really liked was the heart to heart between Robbie and Alex. Hopefully the friendship can last through the upcoming drama be it the police, jake or "the Terminator"

You really captured Jayden's dilemma. He appreciates the help from the Neal's but it is too much and he is too fragile to rely on his good fortune. His life has been series of upendings and turmoil.

Very Lovely chapter, though I fear we arrogating to the end of the road with this story. Liam and Alek are solid now.

Through small actions and gestures, we are getting to know Troy and Jayden intimately. The two characters both are suffering deep losses and seem to have a deep if tentative understanding of each other. It will be interesting to see them develop and hopefully help each other heal. Great chapter, great story.

Jayden has reached his limit right now, as has Troy. Maybe they are what each needs right now. Both are reeling from the unfairness of life events and can't handle well meaning support from others. And now we have to wait for the next instalment ..... Anticipation!

That was quite an introduction to Ian's mom. Here's hoping that we see more of her in the story, she sounds like an interesting, take no prisoners, honest, mother bear, with maybe a little matchmaker thrown in for good measure. Ian hasn't got a chance if she and Paddy gang up on him.

Robbie got himself out of the conflict with Don but doesn't have a plan to go forward. Hopefully he will use the space to reflect and make a plan going forward. At some level, he knows that Nicole Sue Daniel and Amy see him as family and aren't ready to let him give up on them. Hopefully he will find a way to make a truce with Don. Hopefully Don will grow up as well. Dodger, what an amazing story! -
Congratulations Ronyx, we are all weighing in in what we think of the various characters and their motives and developing strong allegiances. What greater compliment is their than that we assume these are real people and not characters in your story, puppets on your narrative string. Amazing how your bring them to life.

Ian is still not ready to open up about his heart. He has built tough armour to get him through his loss of James. But Paddy maybe put a little chink into it. Paddy was good to ask about James, he will probably get more from hearing abut Ian's feelings than when the talk is directed at his own. They both have something to think about. Great chapter

I like the way the Will/Liam - Derek conflict was resolved. I think that they will mend their hurt feelings as they are cut from the same cloth, all fiercely protective of their cares.

It is both sad and funny the misconceptions that we make. I used to correspond by email with a lawyer in Atlanta GA for work. She had a Vietnamese name and when we first had a phone conversation I was surprised, not that she spoke english well (Toronto is very multicultural), but that she had a southern accent!! She probably thought that I was the one with the funny accent - ehh!!

While the events are horrific, the story is wonderful. It is rare is to see complex reactions presented so realistically to difficult emotions and events. We all hope that in crises that we will act honourably and bravely but we never know until we are tested. It is also not easy to classify each of us as brave or cowardly as each us has a different mixture of strengths and weaknesses that are made manifest by the particular circumstance. We understand this now and have terms like PTSD to help explain them. So while Troy is facing much more serious threats than Will, I understand that Will may not be up to supporting Troy at this time. Luckily it seems others are. Good things may come in strange packages. Thank you Ronyx

I'm late in reading the story but jumping on the bandwagon. I have also thought for a few chapters that Billy's dad has known that he cared for Brett as more than a friend.

A very sneaky cliffhanger here. We know the video is out but are left waiting for Bailey's reaction. Declan is more worried about Bailey's reaction to him than that the football team. Tough situations both!

I have to admit upfront that on the whole my preference is not for teen coming out/romance stories as while it is a seminal moment in many of our experiences, at my age I would rather read about the complexities of adult relationships. For me,teen years like acne was something to be endured. HOWEVER the interplay and brilliant dialogue that you have created is superb and has me wanting more.

Parker says it wonderfully. I also like Marty in his big brother mode,not patronizing but protective of the people close to him. His conversation with Alek will be interesting. I also like how Liam is also taking full responsibility for the relationship the second time around. 6 days and counting for the next instalment!

What a great way to fully explore a first person perspective. The story really charmed me. Reggie is a wonderful character with quirks and humour and it was a delight to watch him grow. My only peeve is with the "little Reggie" and "little Perry" business but that is just me.
