Its good for Riley to have the court. He is learning and maturing so much everywhere else in his life and the court is for the most part simple, familiar and where he can let go and be himself.
-
This is really sweet, not cloying but beautiful. And yes, i know this lull may not last for long. All I hope for is that Riley continues to grow more grounded and feel loved
-
Really good start to the chapter. Good intro to Connor as well. This really wasn't the sort of long term relationship that Helen was urging on him but we all do things in our own way - especially perfectionists. droughtquake - don't knock changing "nappies" till you've tried it. They contain weird and wonderful bonding pheromones!
-
So nothing really happens in this chapter, ... and guess what: it is still riveting; I can see Riley opening up slowly and transitioning back to home life and his banter with Carter is priceless Oh I get it, all of that is definitely not NOTHING!!! I always look forward to the next instalment
-
Riley. Trey, Carter, Noah - a potent mix! I loved the chapter, it looks like they will be a tight team once they finish marking their territory.
-
when Riley was in Rehab, at least he was on solid ground. Rules, structure and more structure. Now he has to learn to adapt back into regular life, except, Riley has never had a regular life!
-
I loved the story but am glad that it has come to an end. It was a wild ride getting to know Ryder and Teddie. That said it will be worth the drought waiting for a new story. I feel withdrawal coming on.

I'am very excited to see another instalment in the Leopard series ahead. I did notice that there is no mention of when we will see coming chapters. Graeme, I have faith though that posting the prologue means you are at least several chapters in and will begin posting regularly. If not, and this is just a teaser, then $%^%^^##

Swearing aside, Oli is actually incredibly mature and handling fame superbly. Unlike when Ryder was young, Oli has the full support system led by two big personalities, his mom and Ryder

I think that the chapter title should be "Ode to the Earworm" Great Chapter Joh, You make [our] dreams come true ,..... This is a lot for Pat to absorb (the boys too) but hopefully he trusts in Ian's and Adam's love and that will ground him
-
Okay, Dodger the end of this chapter along with the endnote is pure Tyrone: cruel and selfish. And here we are like good little junkies begging for the next hit.
-
Another great story. I always like that it is not a fairy tale ending (well i guess it sort of is, for a couple of reasons) but rather a strong ending. Here Kevin and Cameron are still early in their relationship and Devon and Ashley have some major hurdles ahead but they all have strong support systems to help them through it. And that is all we can ask for.

Chapter 6 Beer, Showers and ...
Rndmrunner commented on FSELL's story chapter in Chapter 6 Beer, Showers and ...
good chapter, we are really getting to know Jamie and the gang -
Ember and Brady are great. Both have grown up but are at the mercy of the ghosts of the past. Justin is a sweetie too and not as f*cked up as Homo-Hatfield and Mary-Macoy our feuding duo.

what was that song: Sometimes it hurst so good,....

I of the repair shop. It has such a good vibe. It makes me smile just reading it even if Brady F*cking Douglass came in for a pick up !
-
Welcome back. Thank you for the lovely chapter. now if you could just lay out a schedule for the coming chapters .... - JUST KIDDING !! You do obviously have a very loyal fan base

Beautiful and heartbreaking. At sixteen our bodies are old enough to have sex but that doesn't mean that we are ready for adult responsibilities. Kevin probably has a good chance; he has a family who supports him (that does not mean that they are happy with him but rather want the best for their kids/brother). We often smugly say to kids like Ashley and Devin that now you must reap what you have sown but what about the child didn't make any poor decisions but is the result of them. I have often wondered why anti-choice activists do not put their energies into scholarships and support for the parents of the "unborn" children if they really wanted to help that future child. I am afraid that we live in a society that prefers to shame each other chantry to solve our common problems
-
Really good character development Ron. The comments show how we all appreciate the mixed motivations and loyalties that Devin, Ashley, Kevin, Stanley, Charles and others are facing. Some are making better choices than others.

Adam seems to have a conscience but his friends are disposable and utilitarian to him. In many of the chapters he does not seem to understand their "purpose" and deliberately avoids friendships. In fact he watches people to understand how friendships work. Sexually his explorations seem also to be focused on how he feels at the time rathe than a deepening bond. He will trade off Sam for Cody and Cosy for the potential of Seth. Or maybe he will say good bye and go travel and leave them all (including his mum) without a second thought. I keep feeling that he is slightly sociopathic, not criminally or evil or anything but deep down unable to care much I maybe projecting as I have dealt with people of the nature that I described in the past
-
Adam seems also to be on the autistic spectrum based on his relationships and concepts of friendships based almost solely on self interest

Chapter 15: I like being Matt
Rndmrunner commented on Stannie's story chapter in Chapter 15: I like being Matt
oops, i thought that Adam broke his phone -
"I nod. I really should find out why I tell her this much. For some reason she really knows a lot about me. If I don’t pay attention, I’ll someday tell her about my blog. That’ll be the end of everything, no one is ever allowed to know I’m the author." I'd say that Seth has a pretty good idea that Adam id the Anonymous Blogger. Adam quoted Seth's un-posted blog entry almost verbatim.

i think the song in the story the the GasLight Anthem - Handwritten

Signed in to GA and started reading something else when the posting of the chapter appeared. Ace you are like a drug, so I had to read the latest chapter right away. Bad plan, now I have longer to wait until the next posting, ......
