Very fascinating interactions with the furballs and their hive mind. I love Tag. ha, very cute. It is interesting how the furballs accept Kyle and his word unconditionally like when he says Jim is a friend. I wonder why that is. I'm not sure how the furball healing temple would help a human, but I guess we'll see. the amount of time in which Kyle passed out when he went outside right after he got there, doesn't leave much time for them to survive now. Quite a bit of time has passed, they'd not have much longer to stay lucid. So if this place isn't close, I don't see them making it very far from the bunker. They should be running out of air very soon. Just something I wanted to point out b/c it won't seem possible for them to make some trek to the temple if it is very far away. there is also the gravity thing which will slow them down. Looking forward to more. I'm really enjoying this story.

Poor Hel is going through so much. Lord, his life wasn't easy to begin with. Do we know when he lost his parents? I have to go back. The poor thing is dealing with emerging sexuality, whether he realizes he likes boys yet or not, I'm not sure. He's dealing with being something he doesn't understand. Why didn't Aki turn him over to James so that he could continue to be trained? Do they know any other spirit animals that could give him more guidance? if not, James is his best bet. Hel is dealing with living with these strange creatures and I think it's time that Aki explain to the kid what he is and that he understand Ishca a bit too so he understand why he sees the image he does when he looks at Ishca through his spirit animal's eyes. Hel must feel very alone. It seems like Aki has ishca and james has peter. Who does he have? There is clearly some draw between james and him. Look forward to more of these interesting characters.

I would have liked to have seen the furball get picked up with them. I know he was in the dark and probably couldn't see him, but if they had him, he could have told them stuff through the link! I wonder if he can receive messages from them without the direct eye contact. I'd assume so b/c of the influence they had on him that something might get through, if not the exact images and stuff. That drug would still be in his system. The only thing I felt was off was the fact that this kid who had gotten out of high school, right? He's like 18 or something. It seemed odd that now he has had military experience as a medic. I felt like he went from being an immature young kid to suddenly being billed as more. I might be wrong, as the beginning was a while back and if so sorry. He certainly seemed intelligent, but I hope you don't change the characterization too much. This has to be extremely scary. Do they have the suits to go outside or some sort of portable air supply that they could try to get to another of the labs? The government definitely has a better chance saying that they were attacked and their poor scientists were killed and that is why they attacked back, so it doesn't look good for them. Their deaths only benefit the PR angle they probably want to use. That said, I still don't get why they'd attack when they suddenly had this lead through Kyle. They were in the process of getting stuff from him and they didn't wait. It is just so strange. Great story so far. Look forward to more tomorrow.

they're going to start training them?! it's 2 days to the fight and they have 4 people to fight, 2 of whom have 2 days training with swords..oh and they might be too busy staring at Nick to be useful. this can't go well. lol I would have liked to 'see' Nick and Sasha talk a bit more...the bond is so new now that they admit what they feel. I'd like to see it keep growing and see how they are together now that the dynamic has changed. Also, I don't remember but can they do anything to that guy who stole Sasha's powers and get them back? I can't remember if it is possible or if they're lost for good. It would help if he could fight with them too. But, he doesn't have enough power left to be of use at this point.

this kid seems a bit dimwitted but I guess if you live your life in a basement chained up and tortured, doing drugs since you were a kid, not to mention finding himself in his current situation after not being free for very long, it is to be expected. At the same time, he doesn't seem dumb so he needs to get his brain together and start thinking with more than his dick. I'd like him to be more complex than that. I'd hate to see him become little more than a whore for this guy and I think this guy wants more from him than that underneath it all too. His thoughts should run to who knows about shapeshifters? Could one thing on the black market be a shifter? How did things end with his father? Why would his father suddenly go from chaining him in his basement to letting him live on his own in some fancy penthouse? He maybe should consider why his cat is reacting the way it is too. Obviously, it would get like that with a mate probably. Will he eventually be able to open up to Noom? Noom talking so freely would worry me too, but then at times he seems to care about kel. So, this could be interesting. Lookin forward to more of these two, but again, please make Kel a more complex character rather than just making his thoughts about lust for noom. lust is great but let there be other facets to his personality. Where did you get the name Noom? just wondering.

What a major asshole. I find it a bit weird and I know he's your character, but I find it strange that he isn't questioning Roger's booty calls being a relationship and thinking he deserves better. You show he does have expectations by showing he didn't settle for being in the closet. Well, if he only sees Roger in the house, is that being out? Does he notice that Roger is only out for his own sexual gratification and did nothing for him? I don't think he would not have any questions about this. He may not have before b/c he was settling and convincing himself it was fine. People do that all the time, but now that another option is there. Now that he has more interactions with Galen that he does with Roger, wouldn't he continue to picture what it would be like to be more than friends? I think now that he can put someone else in that role in his imagination, he'd maybe start to wake up. I found it pathetic that he'd not have any standards for himself. I don't get why Liam, who has the means as a cop, hasn't looked into Roger and seen if he's really married or partnered or something, b/c clearly something isn't right. What he just had was a booty call with a selfish man who didn't treat him well and he's old enough and experienced enough to not be dense about this. 'Finish Yourself off, I'm tired!' When you haven't seen each other in a month and that is the best he can do? I was aggravated with him for allowing himself to be treated like that. I can't imagine how Alannah and liam sit and watch it. It must be tough. I'd have more to say to him. A smack to the back of his head to wake him up and pointing out how pathetic it is to be treated like that would definitely be in the cards. I hope you are able to have him start to think as he spends time with Galen. I really hope he starts seeing the relationship for what it is and I'd love to see him look into his bf. Take a trip to where he lives. Please....

Wow. screwed up chapter! I understand Jim feels forced to do this. But, we have to remember that he's the douche that told the gov't anything about Kyle and his ability. He could have let the kid go. He didn't have to make it that he'd be turned into a guinea pig. In addition, it kinda makes no sense that they'd have bombs set to go off before they get the results of Jim's test on Kyle? It seems strange to do that. What's the point of directing him to try to get info if you don't wait for it? I guess the point was to scare the furballs to start up the weapon. But, it was Kyle who happened to fall on the image of the spaceship with other humans which scared them into turning on the weapons. So, that was by chance that this was accomplished. It is very strange. I wonder how the furballs are so advanced even with the collective mind, they don't physically seem to have the make-up necessary to use tools and such. Or are the weapons based totally on psionics? I guess we don't know. Also, to what degree are they able to read kyle? Are all his thoughts up for their perusal? Do they have access to them all the time or was it just with the drug that they could interpret his thoughts? I wonder if the furball from the tank will die without the water? I hope he can grab the poor little guy and some water on the way to the bunker. Now that he's connected with the little guy, maybe they can communicate without the drug? I'm surprised the furballs weren't afraid of Kyle based on his being human. I wonder why they seem to care about him and not just be using him as a puppet they can influence to do what they need. I mean they are using him, but the feelings of kinship and such seem to imply there is more to it. I'm very unimpressed with Jim and his morals. He seems like a guy who is out for himself. he seems to care if kyle dies or not, but not much more. His original cold decision to send him to a mining colony showed that. Uggh what a jerk! Clearly even his loose relation to him by family doesn't matter much to Jim. He can say he's being made to do this all he wants, but he got the ball rolling. He knew what was at risk. I don't like him and it will take a lot to change that feeling toward him. This chapter was great. it really upped the ante by showing what was at risk and such, but is also very cool with the idea of his being able to communicate with this collective mind. they seem like such simple animals physically so the advanced minds are a huge surprise. I'm intrigued as to where you'll take this even moreso now!

All I can say is poor Hazel. Man that family is screwed up. Why exactly are Nick and Sasha so connected that they both are losing it being apart? the Shane/riley thing is hilarious. that whole interaction was pretty funny. Can't wait for more.

Oooohh you are mean! that was a horrible cliffhanger. I hope you update soon to make up for it! (feeling guilty yet?) This chapter was really well done. I felt it picked up the pace a tiny bit which was good. The scene with the caskets/doctor/killing the girl was chilling. Lucian is clearly leaving the pics and notes and black roses at Talin's. He wants Dimitri. Who can blame him really? I have to assume Dimitri is some sort of law enforcement. Dimitri is clearly going to be eaten alive by this if he doesn't open up to someone. that said, he was selfish bringing talin into this. He did though, by pursuing him. By rights, Talin has a right to decide if he wants to continue to stay in this. the relationship won't last without that b/c talin knows something is up and his imagination is as bad enough. I really want to know if Lucian and Dimitri have a romantic past. I'm big on making things seem real in a story. One thing that struck me as 'sloppy' would be talking when you get into a car that the bad guys delivered to the warehouse and could clearly have had a bug put in. That'd be the easiest way for the brotherhood to figure out where he was on this. Maybe to add authenticity, I'd have them wait to get back to the marina to talk. But that is a small thing. Overall, awesome chapter. look forward to more

We knew he had a connection to the alien(s), but how did Jim figure it out. He'd ignored the poor kid. I am afraid they are going to use him. I don't trust Jim. Anyone that could send a kid to the mines for a mistake and be so cruel about it. He has a temper /anger issues but wasn't big enough to apologize for how he went about it. I wonder when he supposedly got the drug. Look forward to more.

how could that little bitch pun intended....do that to sasha. she let herself really act like a friend and I think she meant it at the time. well, it makes sense that her and her brother first met her. the brother pushed her to apply right. are they on liv's side. they hardly needed sasha to win did they? will they kill sasha again? nick said he'd protect sasha and let him give up shay, but shay couldn't do both and warn nick at least? this really sucks they don't look like they have much help. There are no other supers they could have asked for help down in hell?

I think Galen should put the ball in Josh's ..umm arena....and seriously though...tell him he's not interested in being the one to break a couple up when he's the one that got screwed by someone inserting themselves into his relationship other guy in a broken relationship. Learn to ride, despite the temptation and get to know Josh. make him want to be around you. The other guy is clearly not much of a problem b/c he's not around. Why doesn't liam look into this other guy. He probably has a family somewhere. If Josh won't open up to Alannah who he's so close to, about his past and his not riding and his reason for being with some POS, what chance is there for him to have a good intimate relationship? It worries me a bit that he's so closed off. Then they will have a good base to start something on. I hope they find a way to do it. Now, why has he not pulled a real reason out of liam for why he hasn't asked Alannah out yet? He should be encouraging Alannah to go on a date and to take Liam to the same place accidentally! That will maybe get him to get off his ass. Can't make the girl wait around for a damn date forever. Not right!

Gosh, wish we had those pods and Eve to heal us! Though that would have freaked me out to wake up in that. I'd have thought marc would have been there when he woke up. Eve clearly had to take him out of stasis. I'm confused why they think that his dad is not the first person who would be taken in order to manipulate him. Shouldn't he be under someone's protection? I'm also surprised marc hasn't contacted his father to confirm the fact that Lucifel and he have some agreement between them. She could be lying. Wonder who Lumia is? I bet the demon king sent him there if he was a trusted person to them. but I doubt an angel was a friend to the demons. I wonder what is up. Damien's powers seem a bit stronger. maybe the tumor coming out? the note about the brain tumor should have thrown him a bit more than it did though. I would think that would freak you out a bit. Good chapter. I look forward to more examples of angel technology.

as much as it sucked seeing them in this darker moment, it kinda keeps their story real. The events did happen and of course they left their mark, figuratively and literally, so it's good to see them deal with it. What Roman did was horrible and I'm glad he died, though I think i'd have wanted to make sure it happened given his was such a weasel. I was afraid for a moment that he had escaped his fate somehow! That said, I love the strength that these two have gained from their experiences. They keep growing as a couple and as individuals. I'd think Damien is still beating himself though for the hunters getting Kayden after their fight. Thankfully it all worked out. Kayden is really bright, I only mention it remembering what he accomplished with the slaves... hope in the next book they find something for him to do so he can feel like he contributes. He's smart and a talented fighter it seems. Glad to have these prompts to hold us over until the next book

Wow this is really intriguing. I understand Jim's anger. Clearly with the new focus he's under pressure. But, he's the one who chose to bring such a young guy without proper qualifications there. Yeah, the kid was old enough to wait until he met with him to learn something. What to do now? Jim won't talk to him and he can't even tell him what he suspects. I feel badly for him though, b/c he was thrown into this through no choice of his own and maybe if anyone treated him like an adult he'd have acted like one. Did those things really make him leave the station in the first place? I don't know if I'd admit I might have a connection to them. he might end up in a tank next to the little guy lol.

sounds like a different looking scientist. lol a hot one. I feel badly for this kid. sounds like his attitude is somewhat earned. I am not sure if teen angst made him feel his mom was getting rid of him, but you'd have to be cold to send your kid that far away, even for some great opportunity. look forward to more.

Good to see another chapter finally! Dimitri is taking a chance of losing him by not telling him the truth. Honestly, after last chapter, I'm surprised he decided to risk Talin. The reality is that by being with him, he's putting his life in danger with that Vlad around. I think Talin has the right to choose if he wants to risk it. I hope Dimitri tells him the truth soon. I'm curious who it is sending these notes. I forget if there is a history between Lucien and Dimitri. Could it be Lucien wanting him out of the picture? I hope Talin finds out soon b/c the doubt will soon be greater than the trust. What happened between him and Gabriel? Must have been major to make Talin check out of life for so long. And what is up with the name of that bookstore. lol The Turnip? I'd love to know his reasoning on that one! Hope you have Talin and Dimitri learn more about each other soon. They know very little aside from the attraction that is there between them. Update soon please!

I almost would have assumed there wasn't really a boyfriend b/c of the look that Liam and Alannah gave each other. but, your answers to comments implies there is one. Like everyone else I wanna know the story there and with why he doesn't ride. What gets me is Galen's ability to even make out with Josh when his life was just broken up by cheating. I know he's really attracted to Josh, but does he want to be doing to someone else what was just done to him? I'm surprised at that honestly. He seems like a genuinely caring person. Josh strikes me as intensely moody. His extreme reactions to small things throws me each time. I'm surprised at Liam. Why on earth would he not ask out this lady who he adores, for years? What is he afraid of? I like Liam and how protective he is of Galen. I wonder if he's worried about his interactions with Josh? Lookin' forward to more!

Wow, Gavin took all that really well! Even with the dreams and the fact he has a bear tat, seeing your bf turn into a bear must be a shock. He weathered it well. It seemed he was happy to have validation of his strong feelings for Tate and his feeling they were bound together. I'm intrigued to see what the reasons are for the symbol and the dreams. Great chapter!

David seems to want the best of both worlds. He wants a fuck-buddy that he treats like a hooker and yet he wants him to be exclusive or something. That's just wrong. Mik has to stop picking all these men with sexual identity crises. He hates Brian for what he did and yet he's picked a new guy more screwed up than brian was. I wonder what is up with Brian too. I thought the note was from Matthew for sure, but now I'm not sure. I still think it could be him since he first said his crush was from the restaurant and then that they'd be at the rave. Possible I guess. Then he comes home fairly early and drunk. I don't know. I love this story. I am still frustrated that Micky is willing to do that thank you musical when the bitch fired him. it's odd. He shoulda said screw it. not that much had been put into it yet that he had to 'honor his obligation' and moreso, how could not one person stick up for him and tell her she was wrong about him? I love Micky's parents. They're very cool and very loving. I hope you tell us what Brian is up to. I detest cheating and usually am of the theory that once a cheater always a cheater. why in the hell would not one of them in the group doing Mikhail's appreciation musical not have told Angelique she was misled? I understand he wants to keep it a secret which why does he care to after how she treated him? That is bull! after all the work he did to do that. I guess it will be fun to see her face when they do the musical for her. eat crow at least. why is he doing this with David? he wouldn't sleep with brian but does with david when he's treated like a piece of ass to hide away. I know he's mad at brian but at least brian wants more.

I think that was as good a place as any to stop. That was an emotional thing to see that part of his past, but it was interesting to have that view into his past and to see how his mom/life was. It's crazy that he was out for months. Creepy to picture reliving the same thing over and over, good or not. Thank God for Keith huh! He really has become a friend to him. The history lesson was interesting too. Now we understand who keith is and the druid thing a bit better. I can't wait for him to be reunited with Marc. I hope that kid that did this paid. Hmm was he ripped up by Marc?

I'm kinda disappointed right now. The last few chapters just seem to stress that James and casey, who had such a connection in the beginning, are in different worlds right now. I'm happy for Casey. He has settled in and become a great kid. It's sweet that he feels strongly enough about Jim and Carol to call them mom and dad. But, again, I feel like he forgot to ever make a moment for the kid that made that all possible. His life would have taken a totally different road without James and he doesn't seem to even offer him friendship. He clearly makes time for Sam though. James seems to be broken hearted and I worry about him. I hope you do something that turns his life around a bit, whether or not that involves Casey. got any new kids joining the school? lol Casey seems pretty hetero to me. He also hasn't been the best for James. James is disappointed but hopefully he knows he did a good thing. He deserves to be happy to please turn this around. I kinda don't understand where the story is going at this point.

Wow! great chapters. to go from the high of losing his virginity and then almost lose his friend completely. Steven needs help. I hope he gets it now. I don't know how he'll deal with seeing those two together though. It may make it hard for him to recover b/c in his mind, this all adds up to the end of the world. It's a tough situation, but I am so impressed with Adam for saving him despite his emotions about it and at the capacity to love that James has. He is a good person. Really well done chapters.
