Glad to see you back. I enjoy this story. Why is he unwilling to reveal that bastard. They can't kill him afterall if my memory serves...he's dead right. I have to go back to check. I love Takashi and his tough, take charge personality. I'm iterested in finding one of these squid things! Wouldn't that be great... Look forward too more. This should be a wierd experience. Poor Guy not being with him. He must be pacing and upset. Does time run the same in the fae lands as back in our world?

I'm hoping that Vlad lying to him about his brother will bring Lucian around. Lucian has a conscience, afterall he warned Raphael about Gabriel's hit...if not a touch late. Still. I don't know though if Vlad would even shoot Lucian without a moments notice. She's cold. She has no emotion and no ties to anyone. She sees him as being weak. I'm surprised Lucian isn't traveling with some other thug though. Him being alone is strange but he has been alone after meeting Dimitri. I don't think Talin can be upset about them, it was before him, but I agree he can question his sanity. Strange Dimitri would have happened to hook up with Lucian before his father was killed, etc. Was it a coincidence or even back then about the marina? I guess it doesn't matter. Will Lucian warn Dimitri about his and his family's imminent deaths or not? YOu've woven a tangled web!! It keeps getting better!

I like this one alot. Kazu has to find out what is up with the mom. Why does Riku want him away from her? I dont think she wants him hurt but could it be something in his past. Yui is adorable. I don't think he should count the friends out as possibly letting out info without realizing it maybe. It is strange they have no idea who this could be after them. No info about the people caught belonging to one group or another? What is dad's shady past? We know little about the third friend. Man, the transportation costs must be very high for the family this year. lol i'd like to know a bit more about what Kazu's history is...great story. I feel like you've kept it moving fast and I like that.

Story going really well. glad to see C and A making up. Surprised that Jez didn't tell her aunt that her son was traveling. Oh and Poor boris! She is terrifying. Hmmm Alex made quite a stir with his move on those troops. Glad he stopped that sick shit, but will that put them in danger b/c now his location is known. Luca is also making quite the splash. I am glad he was able to feel confident in the face of his past, but does he think he'll accomplish anything. AFterall, you can't shut down all the brothels and it will be hard to change that. But, good for him for trying. He is quite like Alex. I just hope he is safe until Alex returns.

Wow, I feel badly for garret allowed his personality to be so changed by this one lousy response from a crush years ago. I feel badly that his parents saw no change in him? No one tried to be there for him. I guess he had no friends to help him through it and try to stop him from changing so drastically b/c of it? It is very ironic that the person who is taking an interest in him and his changed personality is the one who did it to him. I can't wait to see if he is able to break through the armor that was built up since he did this to Garett. Overall, this story should be interesting. I'd also like to know what made Alex change. He seems to not only be more considerate but wants to go as far as to champion those who are treated the way he treated Garrett. Does he remember doing that to him? Did he just not recognize him b/c of the physical changes? Did he regret that as he got older and that made him more aware of how he treated people and how others acted? So was he as affected by the event that changed Garrett, but in a better way? Will he apologize and will it be enough? I look forward to seeing where you take it. And then of course is he gay and will they develop a friendship or more? has promise. i'd love to see a longer chapter. I'd like to just point out one small grammar issue I see. You seem to forget to put a comma at the end of a quote as in: "Get away from me," I said. Unless there is a ? or ! which you then leave in place of the comma. An editor could help you with it or grammar check should pick it up too.

well, some becomes clearer. I'm glad that Gabriel wasn't following the family. It will not ruin his view of the man he loved that way. I am sure that Raphael has lived with enough guilt to punish himself, though he does seem to rationalize his role away saying it was Vlad who ordered it. And in the end, isn't it possible he didn't run over b/c he wanted Talin? He seemed to want him after the death of his brother which is hard to reason when he should be feeling guilt that his brother isn't with him b/c of him. Talin is angry but he needs to pull it together to figure out the rest of the picture. He may not care if he dies, but doesn't he want to use what he knows about Ilia to free Dimitri from Vlad's grip? she has no claim on his family if there was no life taken by his father. What angers me more is how dare he belittle what Damien feels despite their not being together as long as he was with Gabriel...does that make dimitri's love for him less? Does that mean that he will suffer less than Talin has over Gabriel's death? Even if it is a portion of what he's suffered, doesn't he see how much he'll hurt the man he supposedly loves? I know 'talin is an emotional man. he's reacting that way. But, he's now leaving Dimitri, and maybe Raphael, to save his life since he isn't helping. What will they do? Raphael was gonna try to save him, so what is he doing by saying 'take him off my property?' Is he working on something? I think Lucian will be the key. What could have made him possibly try to save Gabriel that night? Does he love Raphael? I don't know what would have made him risk himself like that. Will he care enough to try to help Talin? I love this story and can't wait for more.

What an intriguing beginning. I think you did a great job of beginning to develop Ethan and even John as a character despite our not having even met him yet. It is an intriguing idea to have a person born who could advance society like that at such a young age. The issue of socializing is a true one. Sometimes just due to intelligence, even with the socialization, a kid who is real smart, has trouble relating. I saw this with a genius we had in our school. He never was able to 'fit in' and it was sad to see. we all know kids can be shit. I can't imagine what it is like for this kid to have not had any kids around him. He has such intelligence, but his practical experience and socialization is absent and that would be so hard. As well as the fact that he'd have to be lonely as hell if he only has 'mentors' around him. I look forward to seeing where you go with this. What will John be like? Is he stuck up about his intelligence? Is he awkward or hungry for some friendship. Does he not think he needs anyone his age around him b/c they won't get him or will be immature to him? It should be really interesting. Good start!

lmao....well I guess that puppy got his name! That was very cute. I enjoy these little glimpses into the futures of the family/characters we so love.

I loved this story from the beginning. I really couldn't wait to meet his match. I'm always honest, so I have to say I felt a bit like the end was rushed. I would have liked to know a bit more about Lu. Where was he from? Would he be able to visit Lu's world ever or meet his family? It seemed like we got the part where the story had been heading and it was quickly ended with more of a list of his future than a development of the relationship. We really ended up knowing nothing about Lu. What was 'the family business' or does his name say it all? Though of course it was about the whole experience and that part of it was well done. It was overall an enjoyable story. It was one of my favs which is why i was so excited about the end.

I felt like I was on a chess board with that chapter. Crazy. I thought Gabriel died b/c they wanted Raphael dead, but that Raphael wanted Gabriel dead? Can that be? Can't wait to find out. Does Vlad have no weakness? She has no children huh. Smart lady in that world. What about Lucian's brother. I ddon't understand why Dimitri didn't play the card of 'my father didn't kill the guy you claimed, no blood debt, therefore you don't have his family. I am sure that is what Talin is going to go arrange with his three days. He'll go after Ilia Pajari to get Dimi out of that woman's hands. Not that she won't just kidnap his family so Dimi does what she wants. They should sign the marina over to the bitch and move away and save their lives. Will Raphael come through? I love how you've kicked this up really good. Great story. I think this is the best of yours so far for me.

Galen needs to stop this now b/c he doesn't want to become a Jamie for Ethan. his timing is shit. he knew this before now and pushed on trying to get Josh out of his system. It wasn't fair to Ethan. Now poor Ethan will have to lose him when his sister is hurt but at least Ethan was prepared on some level. sadly he knew he didn't hold Galen's heart the way he wanted to. Gosh, where is another man for Ethan. My fear is whether Josh meant this. Is he done with Roger or will he open his arms when the guy throws him a bone and a bad excuse? You created a beautiful moment for them and I hope it leads to something good for them. I didn't comment on the chapter before when we learn about Blackjack, but it was good to learn about the event and it was great how Galen handled it. I hope that he was able to begin the healing process for Josh. Maybe he can get him to ride again someday.

OMG...I knew raphael wanted Talin. I don't think his protection is all about his belonging to Gabriel. I suspected he was protecting him and aligned with someone but not that he was in the mob himself. That he'd make a move on Vlad. I did worry after his call that he'd threaten Dimitri, but I didn't think it was his attack on the boat b/c Talin was there and could have been killed by accident. Does Dimitri know Raphael? Did he keep that from Talin? Raphael touching his shoulder and Dimitri scowling at him makes me wonder. But, I don't think he'd have hidden that from Talin. I can't believe his brother died probably in place of him b/c they were twins. How sad is that. And instead of repenting he continues to try to rule this world. Horrible. You definitely are making this exciting. can't wait for more!

Great chapter. Of course Lucifer came to mind esp when he said Overlordium was part of his name, but he said he was no devil. So I'm intrigued as to who or what he is. I've enjoyed this story so much. I can't lie and say I wish there wasn't to be more of it. That we'd not get a chance to see some of his life with Lu if they work out. I kinda hope Opie doesn't magically fix the father. As much as I want to see Jonas accepted by his dad, I feel like it wouldn't feel right to Jonas if it was only b/c he was 'made' to want to be a part of his life. I feel like he should choose to be even if it is with some help from Opie as far as a conversation encouraging him to accept what a great son he has. I am intrigued by how accepting his family, the myers, were with all of this. Well, the ladies at least. I was more intrigued by the fact that John saw that Opie had bright orange hair. I'd think his glamour wouldn't have that so as to not stick out as much as he does for his height. Can John see through his glamour? Can't wait for more!

Great update. I see u started something else. I hope this one will continue. These guys are so good together and it seems like they could have something as special but a bit different and more grown up than talin had with gabriel. I can't remember, but isn't it Raphael who made the move on demetri? Does he realize he could have had Talin killed too? It seems that Lucian's father or family would have a shared interest in getting their Ilia back. Is it the father or Lucian possibly making a move? It all seems so twisted. Does Vlad know Ilia is alive? Wasn't it a calculated but risky move to use only a disappearance to secure the marina, b/c if he showed up again she'd have no reason or way to claim it. In fact she'd owe Dimitri's family for having the father killed wouldn't she? Raphael wanted Talin from the beginning it seems, but he fell for his brother. Could he have had him killed knowing he'd be easily convinced by Talin not to take a deal from Ilia as well as have him out of the way? Or did he just hope to be part of Talin's life once Gabe was gone? Such a tangled web you have woven. I can't wait for more. Dinner should be fine. But, why would vlad want Talin there? And shouldn't dimitri have fought it harder given the fact they don't know he has told Talin everything. Wouldn't he argue not wanting talin to know the truth about him? That woman is scary. Not someone I'd eat a meal with after the cake show. lol

I enjoyed it until the end when he died. I felt like we were just getting to know them and boom. But, that is the author's prerogative we have to live with sometimes I'm glad he got the kid and dog but I wish they'd shared it. I feel sad about one thing. clearly they never came out to the family b/c why would his mom not know when they met or when he died? One funny thing I have to comment on is that he didn't stay for the reception? Food was being made so there was one. He didn't even stay to congratulate his sister before he left for clothes! lol All around it was a sweet meeting and I wish it were longer so it could have been a happy ending. I kinda dislike unhappy endings alot. I kinda wish if he had to lose Alex, there had been a chance for him to meet someone new or whatever. But, for a short, it was good. I have to say that I am scared to read your other stories. Are they typically HEA's?

Great chapter! The fight scene was something else. Wow! Andy really is a double agent lol He was so different than the man in bed. I wish we were a little more clear about the history of the islanders/mainlanders. Why do they hate one another so much? Moreso, what is it about the loss of energy that will Kill everyone? Humans lived without energy at one time, so what makes them dependent enough on it that they can't survive without it? Is it that they will be vulnerable to war? Can he talk to Andy? Ask him why? I doubt he'll answer since he's clearly a company man He clearly believes in his cause. I am not quite clear what he thought sleeping with Rick would accomplish though. Lookin forward to more.

Puppi said it perfectly...I hope Shawn knows enough in time to help him when the bomb that is his uncle, goes off. That man is so twisted inside. I hope poor Thomas isn't watching down seeing what the man he loved has become. Though those seeds had to be there. As he said, he loved Thomas enough to do what he wanted. it didn't mean he'd have done any of it if thomas hadn't been there. Fact is, his collar was Thomas and now that it is off, that man doesn't have the chain that kept him being good. I'm so glad the guys are getting closer and that Casey is coming to believe in Shawn's love. I wanted to cry out with joy when he was told someone loved him. You have to hurt for this kid so hungry for love and deserving of it stuck with that bastard uncle and held there by his secret. I find the apects of psychology to be interesting, if not despicable...in the way martin uses love and guilt to keep him tame. Luckily, the ties that have bound him may not work forever now that he has Shawn. I like how you use the body language and analyzing what is and isn't said as a way for Casey to truly understand his uncle's real thoughts. I was glad he saw his uncle's bullshit use of the word 'Son' for what it was when he derisively reminded him he was an experiment and stuff like that. He's such a bright kid. I'd like to know if the years between their leaving the lab and Harris' death ever led to any more experiments that survived? It didn't sound like the funding was pulled right after Casey's 'body' disappeared. Did the monster, Harris, do any more successful splicing? Also, I would like to know if anything is going on with the research martin has done. Have there been any changes worth noting, other than his personality and behavior changes? What reason does Martin have for his thoughts to reveal Casey to the world? How would he carry that off when someone who was in the labs that created him or who was involved in funding would come forward and know it had to be the same boy as CAS-134. Afterall, how many dolphin/human hybrids are there that are the same age lol and Martin worked there. It would be pretty impossible for Martin to pass off Casey as his own creation or something. I have to wonder about how sound his plans are.

Like the others, I'm worried Martin is going to find out and the repercussions are what I worry about. I am glad Shawn has some concerns, but until Casey confides in him, I worry it will be too late for him to help if Martin finds out. He's a devious person and even without the threat of Shawn, he seems to be a threat with his aspirations to use poor Casey for his own gains. Uggh. You're keeping us in a constant state of waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm stressed out reading it lol

I think Casey should just pull martin out of the boat next time they go looking for pearls and drag him to the bottom and hold him down for a few minutes. That's all. All done. But, he's loyal to the love he had for Thomas and wouldn't do that. Martin seems to be so twisted with grief that his promises to Thomas to care for Casey seems to be escaping his memory. Or becoming much less of a guide for his treatment of Casey. What a JERK. Shawn is interesting. He's a party boy who at least wanted to work for money and not just live off a trust. We don't know much else though. I hope he can talk to him and learn something. I just fear for casey if Martin sees him with Shawn.

Very moving story ...I waited till there were many chapters so I could enjoy it at once. Takes control! I'm glad I did now. you have to ache for the lonliness and the life that this kid lives, but yet, it is better than it could have been. Whether or not Martin is best for him, he helped get the kid out of that lab and kept caring for him no matter how bitter he was or angry at the loss of Thomas. I just really want to know what this 'accident' was that he blames himself for Thomas' death.

I loved the way you described Snowflake in the answer to my review last chapter. Very poetic and gives a better idea of how you see the character. I wish you could put that into the story. I hated seeing Sabrina now hurt too. She is a good person...very caring and she clearly loved Snowflake. I hate that Jimmy got hurt too b/c that should have been a defining moment for him where he got a better sense of self and learned that he deserved more from men which is what Brian wanted him to get. Sadly, I hope out of hurt that he doesn't let himself be treated worse by men thinking that is all he's good for or deserves or whatever. That said, Brian and Snowflake should make a really interesting pair. I was surprised Brian didn't recognize a bit more about his symptoms if he's in medical school and an athlete. But, plot-wise it got Snowflake to feel badly, rescue him and move them forward well. Brian also would be ignoring the symptoms b/c he was upset too. I found the whole thing about Brian describing Snowflake as hypnotizing him funny. He pretty much agreed to go into training for the olympics despite his medical school status. lol Snowflake went off the ski rails for a bit there. lol I hope they get to know each other a bit more soon. Though I have a feeling if brian needs bed rest he won't be alone! I also think it shows how bullies can affect kids given that Snowflake is wanted by so many men and women and yet he lapsed into that place of insecurity believing he looks like a monster b/c of the way he was treated as a child.

I have to say....I adore Artie as a character. he cracks me up. Artie really should be part of the show, well a more vocal part. That whole attempt at staying for the Jesse and Tristan show was damn funny. When he closed the blinds and Artie was there on a ladder I laughed outloud. That was a sweet chapter and I think you did a great job of capturing the nerves and the sweetness of a first sexual experience with the right person. You also did a great job of showing it with the wrong person. I just hope that his first time returning the favor is not hurried so he doesn't associate it with the hurried moments as a dirty secret with Jason. These two are adorable together. I love the dual nature Jesse has. His on and off-person personas are so different and it makes for a sweet contrast. I had that moment of 'hmm he was fiddling with the camera, they're on that bed where the shows are made...' But, I don't think Jesse could stoop to that. I think he feels genuine feelings for Tristan. I was only suprised Tristan didn't mention them talking on the phone or computer during the week since you'd think they'd be doing that like crazy. Now when does he come to Tristan's so Artie can meet Scotty?

I have the same question you don't seem to want to answer about Ig. This time felt different than his other 'visits' when Ishca seemed to admit he was picturing him. This time it was like he was there and their conversation seemed more real. Though if it was a vision, I'd have loved to have seen him skipping around nothing all excited. lol I wonder if his brother has any other abilities. This time he disappeared before Ishca seemed 'done' with the convo. Anyway... I liked the sweet memories he was able to 'see' through Aki's memories. I hadn't remembered him being able to see someone's experience or thoughts directly like he did with Aki. Is that new? It was sweet to 'see' Aki putting the figures he and Hel did together. I love how Ishca sees them as a family too. Ishca kinda would be a rough parent to have not only sensing your secrets but spilling them to the other parent! geez! I assume Aki is more concerned about how Hel will take to figuring out his sexuality rather than having a gay 'child.' But, Hel seems to not be uncomfortable about liking boys. He seems to be fine with it, between his crush on James and the boy (Paul?) at school.
