    This was the idea that flashed in my head to the prompt response. I always run with them wherever they take me. I write a wide gamut when I do prompts and this was probably the most intense of all of them. Thanks for reading and commenting.

    Even with all the sadness, drama, and history, I wanted this story to have a glimmer of hope at the end. It's by no means a happy ending, but the slightest chance their family may rebuild something. Even if it's at odds with one another. Thanks for reading and reviewing

    Thanks, Carlos! This was a special piece for me and when the idea hit, it took off like a freight train. As part of the "Recipe for Disaster" themed anthology, it's where the story took itself. I'm so glad you had the chance to read and comment.

    This works very nicely as a tale about the three coming together and building something between them. I love Moshe's point of view. His simpler outlook is very well handled; he's not stupid but isn't versed in some subjects and that's just fine. It's refreshing from some first person stories where the MC seems to be hyper-intelligent. Very nice read. I want a Moshe of my own!

    Nicely done everyone! This looks like a great batch of work and I love that some authors made more than one contribution.
