I don't know how I managed to miss this wonderful comment. Even if you don't like the twin act, lol. I think Chris and Jacob may actually agree with you, if it happens too much. I do plan to reveal more about their earlier trip, but it will only prolong the wait for the wedding and the completion of the story. But I guess you're resigned by now.

I'm glad you approved of a happy chapter. Chris is getting integrated into the family quite nicely, both because they can see he's good for Evan, but also due to his wonderful personality. I'm getting very fond of Chris.

Isa has good intentions and she loves her children and want them to be happy. But she also had some personal reasons for getting Russ out of the way, and in her hurry she forgot to consider what it would mean for Evan. But all's well that ends well. I don't think Russ' small lapse of 'presence of mind' will have any consequences other than his family being more aware of him. I'm so pleased you like the mold joke, it's one of my favorites. The twins snuck up on me, too, with the shared house idea.

I'm so relieved the boys got rescued promptly and the bad guys got what they deserved, that I'll ignore the complete fiction of kidnapping people to be organ donors. It's fine for a story like this as long as everybody are aware this doesn't happen in real life (unlike the other money makers like human trafficking, drugs and weapons). In addition it's unlikely that Australian kids of mixed Caucasian origin will be suitable donors for Asian men. But the idea made a wonderfully dramatic scene. -

That's good to hear, and you're welcome. There are a lot of books which come before the Mage Storm Trilogy, and you might want to read the Fate Trilogy at least. I'm glad you enjoyed my fanfic even more after knowing Vanyel's story.

I hate to say it, but Quent has a point. He should apply his wisdom to himself, though.

Quent may be sort of a friend to Cale, but it doesn't excuse his behavior in general. He's still a bastard.

I'm already hating Quent and I hope he makes an embarrassing mess of the case and is forced to leave town. He's no friend of Cale or anybody else, but simply a nasty jerk.

I'm guessing he's gay rather than tired, but he may be both of course.

So I'm guessing Mr Montgomery had a falling out with Greg over the way he treated Chris. At least, Greg has suffered all these years over the lost chance, and Chris had a nice life, apart from those infrequent visits. And now he knows he's in control of his enemy's happiness.

I'm guessing they're harvesting organs in the hospital. As for Seb and Reg being abducted, it's no more than expected since they were being so foolish. -
It's nice to have Mick back where he's surrounded by people who care about him. I'm beginning to like Zeru a lot, and Riley is sweet as always. PS - oh my, you have been away for a long time, if you're calling chapter comments for reviews.

Albert, I'm glad you noticed Russell being the supportive and happy presence for once. Of course Henry would appear and try to take control, but he miscalculated. Having his wife reject him is a much harder hit than his sons refusing to listen. But I guess he's had so many chances and Isa has finally had enough. She chooses her children like a mother should. -

Sorry about not replying to this before now. You're spot on ! Evan did find someone to take the place of a controlling father, but this time the relationship is equal and Evan has a choice. Indeed, You hit another home run. My story notes have Evan and Chris in a D/s relationship, although of a fairly vanilla type, I think. -
Ha, ha good try. Why would he take a whole stack of undies out and not just the top one?

He might have warned Chris that he wanted him to humanize his son. It would have worked a lot better than this mess.

At least he got another dig in about the truth of why he doesn't want to have anything to do with Greg. But why does the scary prick know things about him, including where he came from?

Oh what a wonderful revenge and serves the prick right. I loved how he told him the exact truth of why.

He should have walked right back out with his suitcases and told the brothers on the way. I'm guessing Basil told Gregory before he left, since he's treated Chris like dirt from the beginning. By not leaving again and calling Greg sir, he's lost the option and the fight. What a shame - but I hope he finds a way of getting back at the prick who was probably both shocked and attracted to the way he stood up to him.
