Well, you gifted us with a lovely long chapter to tide us over until next year, so you can enjoy the holiday with a good conscience (unlike me). I'm glad Tony told Geoff about Stuart, because forewarned is forearmed (or something like that). Tony is a master of patience by now and I think he's seeing it as a sign of how different this relationship is to any other he's had. He's doing his best to give his boyfriend a boost of self-worth and it seems to be working.
@BlindAmbition @Mikiesboy @Parker Owens
Well, I'm sorry I beat you to it, but the blog review of the Famous-Barr series was planned months ago. But you could still review one of the FB stories separately, if you want.
Yes, both his stories and the comments he left on other people's stories will be treasured forever. Thank you, @Drew Espinosa for remebering this anniversary, even though it's a sad one.
You're very welcome, buddy. I, too, shed a tear when I saw skinnydragon's comments, we'll miss him forever. It was nice to read Katie's Sketchbook again, I loved that you used @ColumbusGuy 's characters Jay and Miles in it. I'm going to indulge in Wini next, she's such a brilliant character.
I'll add my favorite Danish Christmas hymn - it's also sung in Sweden and Norway, making it a proper Scandinavian Christmas song.
Also my favorite julesang (xmas song) for dancing around the juletræ (tree) on Juleaften (Christmas Eve).
@ColumbusGuy if you ever get to Christmas in your Jay and Miles story, these may come in handy.
You did, but not very many people noticed, including @Wicked Witch
Maybe you could add links to the features in the list ? Then it would be easier to find them, if we missed seeing them at the time they were posted.
Wow, that's a lot of stuff going on. I'd like to add that @Caz Pedroso won the Fall Anthology Participation Reward. Congratulation, Caz. I hope you celebrate by writing a sequel.
I can understand the original German text too, and it makes me contemplate the ambiguity of the poem. One interpretation is physical death, but another is mental death, such as dementia or madness or simply a withdrawal from the world into your own mind.
Yikes, not that I was surprised either at the outcome. Hmm, so he provides the meat to his customers and the bones etc get buried in the back yard. Alex should have kept hold of the too good to be true thought and remained suspicious. And he should have wondered why he suddenly felt horny after throwing up all the food he was given. Hopefully, one day a more clever guy will come along and catch the ex-butcher in the act.
Thanks for including me in this feature, Carlos. I'm flattered to be sandwiched by two of my favorite authors. Of course, I immediately spotted a grammar mistake in my answer. And I don't understand why the emoticons didn't show up, and why there are empty lines between paragraphs. I must have done something wrong.
