Chapter 12 The Luck of the Draw
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 12 The Luck of the Draw
Interesting hint of another reason why Kendall wasn't out when he met Michael. If he had been it might have prevented a lot of hurt. At least, if his parents don't accept them, Kendall has a mom and dad who are happy to have a new beloved son. But let's hope they will care about his joy in life from having found his Sunshine. And yeah, I made a bit of a mess too, while reading the last half. Thank God for Kitt's Danish Drool Diverter for my keyboard. -
Chapter 11 Playing For Real
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 11 Playing For Real
We don't want them to play the blame game, not even in the reverse shape of 'oh no I'm the one who should apologize', so I'm glad they seem to have cleared the air about Chet and Michael's womanizing. But I think it was important for Kendall to tell Michael how bad he felt all those years, not to make Michael feel guilty, but to heal that wound by the mutual promise. But I laughed when Kendall said he'd chop M's nuts off if he didn't behave. Yep, those nuts and all they contain belong to Kendall now and he'll take good care of them and all other parts of the man he loves. Oh, and Michael should thank Chet for being an honorable and kind friend to the two of them. -
Chapter 10 Playing a Game of Hearts
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 10 Playing a Game of Hearts
I've been having small Yoda moments ever since I first read this chapter, but the scene where Michael says it's not a matter of trying, they are already committed, is intensely romantic. One of them said it before, they have been in a relationship for years and only needed to take the last two steps: aknowledging it and getting intimate. And holy shit, they sure didn't waste any time getting really intimate ! Talk about hot shower sex. It took me three tries to stoop drooling enough to be able to focus on editing, and at one point I contemplated taking a cold shower, before my second read. I have the feeling Michael will be very possisive of Kendall's ass, but I hope he'll be ready to let his man play there too. But they never got any further in their talk, so I'm guessing that will be the next step. I'm off to see if I'm right. I'm sure your readers are impatient for more. -
Phew, that was hot. Excuse me while I cool off for a bit and wipe my keyboard. Okay, it's nice to meet a couple with an uncomplicated love quickly moving onto a serious relationship. The hiding in a closet was that symbolic of him not being out at work ?

Very cute and well written as usual. For some reason the thing which made me laugh was Clayton's recap of how he had tried to gently decline offers at the gay bar when going out with Levi and his friends. Even if I did feel slightly sorry for the disappointed pretty boy.

Sometimes I really hate being right ! (more on that in the forum) When I read the chapter again, I winced at Neil's words: "I don’t want my life to become even more complicated – not just yet." Poor Neil, but I'm glad he feels strong enough to stand up for himself. Poor Liam, too. He's gonna have a hard time convincing Clarissa to help him, athough I think she'll just tease him for a while, before relenting. And for a moment I thought Ollie had blown the Alf cover. Maybe Neil will forget that hint with all the other things happening. Another interesting football match and Patrick got his wish of seeing the Leopards lose. But he doesn't know about Ty's rallying song in the changing room. I feel sorry for Roger, this may well be the end of his football career.

I liked the idea of the main god talking to his alter ego (Zeus and Jupiter). He is such an egomaniac that of course he'd prefer hanging out with himself, LOL. And of course he fears Gaia, after all she helped him overthrow his father, and I'm pretty sure she'd cut him the same deal if he disrespects her. But I always thought the sky was her lover and not Time. Although, I'm sure it takes more than one man to keep her happy. Now we want to know what they came up with to placate her.

Thank, Graeme, that was a sweet story. I'm still not sure how Tony has managed to avoid strangling Alex. He is so annoying, Grrr. Ethan must have the patience of a saint, or else he's able to tease back and spank Alex whenever needed. Like once a day or so.

Seriously Now! - An Epilogue, Sort Of…

Happy Valentine's Day, Carlos, hope you have as much fun as the people in this story. I'm still laughing about the Cupid's getting it wrong with the Angies and their reaction to Tony and Colt being able to see them. Hope we get to hear more about them. As always I need to pay close attention to who is saying what, you don't believe in making it easy for your readers, LOL. But that's OK, it's part of the charm and I love all of the banter. But I think my favorite character may actually be Shandy, her presentation makes me crack up and want to applaud every time.

Maybe the boys should spend time at Mikey's house too, if the presence of his friend makes his parents be present too. And Mikey's dad sounded eager to involve himself in the car restoration project - could this be something which brought them closer? Overprotective mums, GAH ! Drives me nuts too, my mum still does it to me, which is one reason I don't see her or talk to her as much as I should. So clever of Mikey's dad so see how good Jay could be for his son. I'm glad I got my wish of a Jay POV and I think it worked really well. It made the chapter a lot less anxious than it might have been. But I still let out a sigh of relief after I finished reading.

Thanks, DD. Yes, I'm not surprised this is so. It's a way of forcing people to be responsible about how much gas they use and how much they drive. Politicians also discuss other means to encourage people to use public transport and bikes. In addition, we tax cars heavily, particularly in Denmark. In fact, the taxes are so high, the car manufacturers set a lower initial price of cars in Denmark, in order to make the retail prices better after the tax percentage has been added. This means diplomats and other foreign people who don't have to pay VAT sometimes go to Denmark to buy their cars, since if they export the car from Denmark, they don't have to pay the Danish taxes.

Yes, well, I wish I could tell you the next chapter is on its way, but I haven't started writing it yet. But maybe this will prompt me to get going. I'm pleased you enjoyed it so far.

Confidential Conversations I
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Confidential Conversations I
Why thank you - what a nice surprise to suddenly get reviews for CC. I'm glad you approved of the twin trick. If nothing else, Russell's father is in control of himself and his emotions / actions. -
Hmm, I'm forseeing a talk about safe sex and not letting hormones lead you to do something you regret. On the other hand I think César will want CJ to enjoy himself - and we'll like watching it happen.

why do I get this mental image of pole sitting contests ?

It's so nice to have a story where the 'official' people like policemen, firefighters, social workers and foster families are portrayed in a good light. I mean, we all know there are good and bad amongst them, but at times I feel the bad guys appear more in stories - for obvious, dramatic reasons. But it makes this tale stand out in a good way. I'm hooked.
-
thanks Ron and MikeL - yes that sounds about right. We've also had a dip in prices recently, to around 9.30 - 9.70 DKR per liter, but a couple of months ago we were looking at 12.75 DKR / liter and even went above 13.00 at times. Although to be fair, the minimum wage is a lot higher in Denmark too.

If you had to pay more for your gas, then you might buy more economic cars and use less of a finite and polluting resource. And I'm not talking CO2 (and climate change), but oil spills and air pollution from traffic. I won't even tell you how much we pay for gas in Scandinavia (partly due to VAT and other taxes), since you probably won't believe me. and because I'm too lazy to convert from kroner and liters to dollars and gallons, lol.

I gave up around book six or seven, and I hated most of the main cast after book three. For later books I'd go to Amazon and read the rants and enjoy the voting for Most Annoying WoT Character Award and the various suggestion for Jordan about seeing a shrink, grow up, or get an editor with balls enough to call him on his infantile character non-development. And it's such a waste of one of the most awesome fantasy worlds ever created. It was almost a relief when he passed away. No more torture...
-
as if we haven't suffered enough from the immature behavior of the WoT cast (main characters). But maybe the manuscript writers can get rid of the agonizing pages of indecisive drivel and retain the awesome creation of the world itself with its diverse nations / ethnic groups and epic background and plot.

Michael's decision not to act on his reaction to thinking of kissing Kendall when he took his sneaky shower was a good call. Even if he might have avoided a bit of pain and the embarrassment of a small teen-like frotting accident, LOL. But the subsequent reward was worth it. I'm sure there's a lot which needs to happen still - and I'm NOT talking about sex. Yeah, right, who am I fooling... OK, I'm not only thinking of Ace and Deuce being intimate. They have to talk to their parents, meet with Chet, discuss how to come out at work, to their friends, the hockey team (either of them), where they want to live from now on, and what kind of flowers they need to buy Michael's mum for saving them from losing love. But most of all they need to recharge their friendship and get over those painful weeks. I guess Michael's injury will provide ample opportunity for them to spend time together. And for Colleen to mother both of them.

LOL, a Danish Cupid called Love - have you been reading Hans Christian Andersen tales ? There is one where the old poet is shot in the heart by a naughty young boy with curly blond hair, going by the name of Amor (as far as I recall). This must be one of his busy brothers. Great to be back with the Prime crowd, but I still get a sad moment whenever I think of Colt. He deserves to be happy after all those years of loss. And Tony is definitely a favorite of mine, so I'm happy he's there for the blond hottie.

OK I've finished wiping the drool etc off my chin, hand and everywhere else, and I'm finally calm enough to leave a review. Damn Rex, that was hot and sensual and loving at the same time. Brought back memories of my own introduction to the delights of M2M intimacy. Anyway, I'm liking Dave more and more - as well as being impressed. He's totally focused on getting Barry to relax and feel good about himself, their budding relationship and the natural enjoyment of touching and being touched. He makes Barry feel safe at all times, and I have the feeling this is extremely important right now - much more than Barry realizes himself. There were several signs of this, one of them being Barry's almost casual acceptance of the final, future step in their slow sexual exploration. I love it when guys are versatile, and I have no doubt Barry will be open to being fucked at some point, and see it as the obvious climax of committing to Dave and their future together. I'm not impatient for this to happen, and Dave will probably make sure Barry craves it before he goes there - just as he did with asking when he came into the shower and once he was certain he took charge and showed Barry what it meant to be loved and cared for by his man. I was actually rather envious of Barry, but then I reminded myself of the price he has paid.- and the story did too with the progression to the plastic surgery. A brilliant chapter altogether, and so far you've managed to have every intimate scene be about their development as a couple as well as the hot sex we all want them to indulge in. After all, they are men in their prime and to ignore their needs would be unreal. So bring it on !

His body may be hurt, but his spirit certainly isn't.
