Aidan should realize his company would be more than pleased if he told them he was personally ensuring Heath didn't stray and fuck around. And he should tell them, he'll leave if he doesn't get a promotion and better projects in the future.

I read very fast, and I have an excellent memory (lucky me). Also, I don't have a lot of other interests or hobbies. But I'm not following that many stories and I'm commenting on even fewer. So keeping them apart isn't too difficult - although I sometimes have to go back and read a few chapters to refresh my memory if there are long intervals between posting.

Chapter 23 Cakes and caring

You're welcome. I treasure every comment I get, and I try to answer every one of them. -
I think it's a good idea for Jay and Mikey to act like role models for Finn and Lee. They'll be more likely to listen to them than their brothers. Including the younger boys in their group was a nice thing to do for all of them. Mikey may be embarrassed by the sex talk, but I think it's only natural for the guys to compare notes. And the fact that the most committed couple among them hasn't gone further than oral might take the pressure off the others. It was interesting how they all knew Benny and Cal was in a league of their own about physical matters. I loved the final part with Jay unexpectedly showing his vulnerability and fears. Good for Mikey to know he isn't the only one to worry. I'm sure he'll remember to reassure Jay in the future. The photography class was a good idea, once Jay had explained why, but I'm sure the boys can develop other interests together in the future. They both forgot to mention the car renovation project, and I'm sure there will be other science stuff they can bond about. Great chapter CG, and if it makes readers go back and refresh their memories about earlier events, that's fine.

Chapter 23 Cakes and caring
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 23 Cakes and caring
Thanks, Lizzy. It was a wonderful surprise to wake up to all those chapter likes and this awesome comment. I have every intention of writing more chapters, but you'll have to be patient, as I'm currently writing on three other stories. However, while you wait you could read the other stories in the Viking Valentine series (Cupid Central by @aditus, my A.I. trilogy, and the joint story Aditus and I are currently posting). -
Two Brothers Go on a Mission

that's a very good point. I'll make a note of the idea and see whether we can bring the A.I. team on board, somehow. No promises though. -
I just saw this story on BBC: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-birmingham-47750213 talk about life imitating art... although they were not beat up, 'just' robbed.

Two Brothers Go on a Mission
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Two Brothers Go on a Mission
Your confusion about Theliel's age is understandable, since he looks and acts like a twenty-something year old. Aditus will have to confirm it, but my thought is that Cupids don't age or age very slowly once they've grown up. Hmm, interesting idea about involving Imp and Angel - but would they want to do Theo or Sablo a favor? This might depend on their opinion about being shot with silver arrows. Since that happened five years ago, at the beginning of Sablo and Theo's relationship, who knows what's happened with the A.I. team since then. - though five years may not have passed for them, since Theo and Sablo could have gone forward in time on their missions. Hmm, I'll have to think about this some more. Concerning what happened between Theo and Azrael, I'm sure they tell you this was ages ago and of little importance now. -
Yay, this is going to be a good Saturday. The sun is shining and we got a Leopard chapter. I'm pleased Ben finally came out to his sister, and that Andrew was supportive in getting rid of her misconceptions about gay guys. She must have been really flustered to make the mistake about who Ben's boyfriend is, because Ross said he and his boyfriend were marching after Ben had clearly stated he would not be in the parade itself. It was also nice to see both Ben and Mason acknowledge they are boyfriends and not just fooling around. Cool how Neil spotted the stalker, even if he was mistaken about the reason the guy was hanging around them. Everyone will be on their guard, and I hope he remembers to warn his Leopard friends at a time when Ben is listening. The warning may make a difference at the party, when Ben and Mason could be on their own when Jose makes his move. Interesting with the 1914 medal, I look forward to reading the story behind it. I seem to recall Paddy feeling sorry about not helping another gay football player in the past, but I could be mixing things up. I hope we get to see Deon do well in his first game as an AFL player. And Mason should consider ordering a minibus to take all of them from the stadium to the train station. Although I guess it won't be too difficult to get a few taxis if they go before the game is over. Especially if they book them as soon as Deon leaves the game.

Two Brothers Go on a Mission

Very true. But I'm not sure Sablo is able to be philosophical about his situation right now. -
Poor Wes, he isn't doing well with making friends. If Tony finds out he's the cause of the stalker finding them, he'll be disgusted. I'm glad Ted made a good impression on Geoff by approving of the garden. This could be helpful and give him some confidence. Good point about his visits to his mum being utterly useless and one-sided, no big loss to skip those meetings.

Hey, I'm sane and sensible. I think...

I'm glad you can feel sorry for Sablo. He's in so much trouble and all of his own making. I hope you're right about Theo, but that's up to Aditus. -

Thanks - we do our best. Aditus is the guarantee of drama, and I try to infuse a bit of common sense. Obviously I failed in a major way with Sablo. -

@ColumbusGuy Interesting how you think there is something fishy going on with Ayil. However, he would never admit making a mistake, particularly not about silver arrows. But as Theo pointed out, even Cupid arrows are no guarantee against relationships failing. -

He sure is, and it's all due to a combination of ignorance and arrogance. -

Yup, but things might not have gone wrong if Sablo hadn't meddled with matters he knows nothing about. -

I'm glad you enjoyed the tiny cliff hanger - perhaps because you could go straight to the next chapter. It's fun to do our own interpretations of old lore and concepts, and even better when our readers like the results. Thanks for the encouragement. -
I'm glad you liked the cloak concept, since this was my contribution. LOL, typical dinner - well, it may set the precedence for future visits if Diego keeps seeing Azrael.

No, I meant I'm not as scared of my readers (even with pitchforks) as I am of my co-author's Cupid characters. -

I think Richie is fully justified in staying in the anger phase of grief for a while yet. His reactions are logical and understandable, and if his goal is to live with his uncle and aunt he should keep on telling his father what a stupid useless fucker he is. Maybe the bastard will catch on at some point and realize the only way he'll ever get a relationship with Richie is to treat him like a stranger and an adult instead of a naughty child. I don't see any reason why Richie should try to 'behave' in the way Gabe and others are trying to suggest.

“I thought you were against anyone testing my aura?” Diego paced around his office after Sablo’s unexpected revelation about his partner finding a match between the auras of Azrael and Diego. “He says he knew without testing. Apparently, your auras are ‘beautiful as butterflies’ when they’re mixing.” “Butterflies are a good description…of the feeling I’m getting here.” Diego waved vaguely in the direction of his stomach. “I wish you hadn’t said anything. I’m beginning to understand why A

Tillykke fra Danmark - I'm delighted for you. -
I think Rilecca and the other Elite offspring definitely want to overthrow their parents. However, whether this will help the Captain, Kohen and their crew get free is impossible to say.
