The WSSC: The Writer Support Sub-Committee is in the process of gather members to participate in the Editors/Beta Readers program.
You can read a bit more about that program here: Editor/Beta Readers Program
At the moment I'm looking for a few members to participate in the Beta Readers side of things. (feel free to sign up to be an editor)
The Beta readers will consist of members who can be sent a story before it is made final and posted to the site. These members can give each story a once over as well as an early review. The Beta readers will be broken into groups so that the readers don't become bogged down with the amount of stories that appear on the site.
There is no criteria for being a beta reader, other than the desire to read. Anyone who may wish to participate in this please PM me. (Empathy) and title the PM Beta Reader.
You can read more about the Writer Support Sub-Committee here: Writer Support Sub-Committe
And look for more projects and activity from the WSSC in the near future.
My story A Cursed Life is already available under efiction. I'm not sure if I want to doing anything that big, I've some experience with creating pages myself so it's certainly something I could handle myself. The hesitation was more so on the point of wheter or not it would be worth it. I don't have any completed stories (only one that's been made public yet) and don't exactly have a readership. So I'm not sure if having my own page is really something I should bother with.
I don't know really some people have thousands of 'friends'. For me it's like an online catalog of hot guys haha. I add hot guys or accept request from hot guys that's pretty much it. I have a personal page as well and on that one I only add people I know.
I refer to it as slutspace, and I'm entirely addicted.
I have two accounts, one public and one private. private account has 700+ friends my public about 20
It really depends on the writer and his style. I really like a story with a lot of background detail to try to take in, it service to pull you into that world. And I also enjoy stories that pull you straight into the actions and take you for a ride like a run away train, only to explain things later. I'm writing a sequel story in that fashion as we speak.
Well I'd feel sorry for you but you get to go to california and I know you're gonna have a good time despite not taking as much cash as you'd like. I'm 22 and I've still never been to Cali. Eh parent's are weird but you get 800 to spend and will still have 700 more dollars waiting for you when you get back. haha just bought two pairs of forces today.
The problem with diets is that most people don't understand what a diet is.
the usual food and drink consumed by an organism (person or animal) a Diet.
In the modern sense of the word we take it to mean foods we can or can't eat. And we say we're on the atkin's diet or the south beach diet. Really all you have to do is decide to eat healthy and continue to do so. Not do so long enough to lose weight for summer or before the class renunion, all the time. Whatever method you find that works for you, should be something you stick to thereafter. haha I went off on a tangent.
Yeah I hate diets too.
If I recall a number of your stories are actually about you and your family aren't they. (Haven't read them yet but they're on the list.) So I guess that would be problematic if they saw your witting.
For most programs you simply click save as... and then at the bottom under the filename it should say "file type" in the menu that comes up look for webpage or hmtl.
My mother said the dying scene in the first chapter was too much for her so I know she won't like some of the other things. And certainly not the gay aspect.
So I take it that's a no?
Yeah i doubt I'll be sharing with them the real stories but I might just keep altering the story at certain parts to make it a little more reader friendly for them.
