Enjoying the story so far. Kind of expected Tate to have had the same dream as Gavin in the last chapter. A few minor editing errors, but nothing major. Counter to those saying "faster," I'd rather wait a bit longer for a good chapter, than have something rushed and incomplete.

Like the others who have commented, the family seems to have quite the assortment of brothers. Enjoying the story so far.

"Old stuff" can still be entertaining. I'm reminded of Gerald Terrant from The Coldfire trilogy by C. S. Friedman.

Great chapter. Kieran's interactions with the kids have always shown that other side to him - the one that isn't a spoilt rich kid. For Shas' happynes, I hope Becca comes to her senses soon.

I agree with Dathi that the response is in character. Anything too aggressive wouldn't read right -- though, ocassionally, it's the sweet calm and caring ones that become the most vengeful when someone they care about gets hurt.
