    Well written and lovely.
  2. Sweet and lovely story.

    Chapter 20

Loved the story, but he ending does seem a bit rushed. Looking forward to the epilog.

    Chapter 13

Loving Fire. Have to read the next chapter now and see what Opie says to Jonas after his talk with her.

    Chapter 2

Fantasy Dept.? I'm reminded of the start of "Magic Kingdom for Sale -- Sold!" by Terry Brooks.

    Hello, Goodbye

You've actually managed to make me feel a bit sad about Marco.

    Happy Feet

Marco -- denial is not just a river in Egypt.

    Chapter 23

I agree with Dathi that the response is in character. Anything too aggressive wouldn't read right -- though, ocassionally, it's the sweet calm and caring ones that become the most vengeful when someone they care about gets hurt.

    Never More Lonely

Sweet and lovely, and just a little sad.
  10. Fae Briona

    Chapter 27

    Great end to the story.

    Wolf

    Beautiful. Sad, but beautiful.

    Chapter 18

I get Silis's fear of his sister finding out - it's the same reason he blamed Ian for not geting in touch, without considering that he might have tried but his parents blocked any attempt. I'm not sure how much Emma could connect either if she had to sneak out on her husband to see the band.

    Chapter 10

Enjoying the story so far. Great character development.
  14. Short but great.

    Chapter 22

I think Baradin has the right idea -- you've already talked about how powerfully Mirri's songs affect those who hear them.

    Chapter 13

Loving that we get to see Akama as a young boy. Also gives us some idea of the time-frame between the two stories.

    Chapter 3

    Loving it so far.

    Attunga

The actions of the "Directed Comunities" reminds me of a rather deperssing solution to the Fermi Paradox: there are no inter-stellar civilizations, because we all destroy oursevels before we reach that point.

    Part 13.

    Loving this story.

    Chapter 14

It would make for a much shorter story, and might be considered a bit too cold blooded and ruthless for sum, but...... If you know exactly when & where Ezer's ship is appearing, why not just jump back an hour or so before hand, and blow it to bits the moment it appears?

    Chapter 15

I hope this isn't the end.

    Chapter 13

@LitLover -- I have a feeling Dillon already knows. That would be the answer to Lor's confusion over whey he protected his stomach and not other parts of his body.
  23. Lovely and sweet.

    Chapter 7

For those not familiar with the origin of "faggot" in referring to gay men, it dates back to the Inquisition and the burning of 'witches' and others. The original meaning of "faggot' is a small piece of wood used to get a fire going after lighting the tinder, but before tossing on full logs. When 'witches' were burned at the stake, gay men were often bound and put -- alive -- inside the pile of wood used for the pyre.
  25. The "the universal signal for stop" isn't all that universal -- as the US military found out a bit late in the Middle East, after fireing upon cars that didn't stop at checkpoints. In certain cultures, hand extended palm outward is a sign of welcome.
