Nooooo!!!! Well that bites. I mean it's completely understandable that you need to "stay away" and believe me...I've tried (I hope you have more success than I did )...but that still stinks. I'm going to miss you. Well poop. That's a downer. Ok, hehehe that just brought a funny thought up too...do you watch Will and Grace? I just remembered "Karen" at one of Grace's parties brought a big bowl of "party mix" candy mixed in with "uppers" and "downers"...a suprise in every handful! Ok...way off topic. That is awsome though that your soooo close to being done with school. Last year I found I had very mixed feelings at this point in time. I was thrilled to be done...but at the same time terrified because my "routine" was going to be completely messed up. I had no idea what was going to happen. Your going to do awsome! Hmm....a party at a park sounds great. That would be a lot of fun. Grab a cake and some iced tea and tell folks you're having an "informal" get together. lol Go play on the swings...they're great. That's impressive you've worked at one place for three years. The only thing I ever did consecitively for three years was my schooling. lol I have yet to actually have a job that lasted for more than a year. Perks of being...well I don't know. YAY! Shopping Rocks! You did go all out! That sounds like so much fun! And no dissing of the cheap rubber flip flops. I've got three pair! Red, Pink, and Green! They are my favorite shoes. But, sadly...a "no-no" in the lab...I'm a klutz with the acids. What can I say! I agree completely though with the "new city, new look". It will give you a new feel and even more confidence...a bit more can never hurt! **Sigh** Ok, here goes: Good luck with the exams!!! You're going to do great! CONGRATULATIONS ON GRADUATING!!!! It's a good feeling. All of that work has finally paid off...for the moment anyway. Good luck with the move, drive safely and have loads of fun. It'll be exciting decorating a new apartment. A bit scary at first, but you'll do great. Ok, I think that's it for now! Boy that was a wordy post huh. Hey Luc! Holy cow! Tell your son congrats for me! That's pretty impressive given how young he is. That's awsome, you must be very proud. So are you going to be one of those parents that has their entire back bumper of their car covered in bumper stickers that state "My Son is an Honor Student at _______ School"? I have yet to figure out if those make the kids feel special or just mortified? I'm sorry to hear about the kitten. Goodness, so many kittens...but even the loss of just one feels so huge. It's funny how something so small can affect someone so much. Ok, that just brought up a memory...kind of gross so if you don't want to read it don't! When I did my undergrad research project I worked with mice. Lots and lots of stinky smelly mice. But the 1-3 week old baby mice were adorable...small little black fur balls! So Cute!!! (for a mouse! ) Anyway, the first litter that was born (my research project involved studying fetal alcohol affects) scared the crap out of me. I didn't know she was pregnant...I saw the pups (5 total)...replaced the cage lid....checked a few hours latter and all that was left was one dead, half eaten mouse pup. I have no idea why she did it but it seriously freaked me out. I never had any of the other mice do that again, but everytime one would have a litter of babies I would spastically watch them "just in case"...I don't know why, I couldn't have prevented the mouse from doing it...but yeah. Off track side thought. hmm...I don't know where I was going with that. I hope it didn't gross you out too much. Sorry if it did. Hi Chaz. I really don't know what to say. Nothing I say can make it better, only time and patience can do that. It's completely understandable your need to get away for a while. I just hope you decided to come back to all of us when you're ready. You say you're surprised by how many people cared about Green, but you'd be surprised by how many people care for you on this website. I haven't lost someone who was as close to me as Green was to you, but I did loose my oldest brother a few years ago. The one song that really made sence to me (and I can't bear to listen to it now...memories you know?) is "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. Hi Luc! Marina reminds me of a mama lion. :2hands: You just don't screw with a mama lion or get between a mama and her baby. Reading your blog entry I just had to chuckle. Growing up I had all type of kittens and cats and now I'm finding that I really miss the combination of love and snootiness all rolled into one. I'm glad that Marina took control of the situation and from the sounds of it, Cubby will have a definate fighting chance if she has anything to say about it. Hi Kevin!!! So how soon do you get your test results back? I always love taking those, surprisingly they usually come out somewhat accurate to what you're already thinking. So I hope the results say exactly what you're expecting instead of something like "Politician" or "FBI agent" . Although, after watching "Miss Congeniality" a couple of times really makes me want to rethink this whole science bit and go joing that crowd!!! hehehe So I got a good chuckle out of your "it made me stop and laugh uproariously for several minutes (which probably sounds like a big deal but it isn't, I'm kinda a laughy sorta person anyway, and I was already giggling my head off" . That had me smiling!!! I'm the type of person that will giggle at the dumbest thing. Ok, so did you see "Meet Joe Black"?? Well towards the beginning of the movie "Joe Black" gets killed by being hit by several (and I mean several!) vehicles. At one point he's flipping through the air and I'm sitting there with a group of friends...and I'm the only one on the floor laughing at that. Doesn't mean I wanted him to die...it was just the sight of him constantly bouncing!!! Ok, so sometimes I'm a wee bit awnry . I HATE those automated voices!!! THEY are sooo annoying! Have you heard the "weather alert" guy...well computer animated guy I suppose...(I really hope NOBODY has that boring of a voice **thinks back to highschool Algebra I class...eyes glazing over** ) for some reason that voice really REALLY annoys me...where am I going with this??? lol no clue. and now I'm typing to myself....hmmm... :wacko: heheheheeeee Good grief!!! It sounds as if you have very fun evenings. Mine are usually A LOT duller than that! I'm glad you had a great evening. So tell me...is a boiled crawfish similar to a boiled lobster then??? I've had a boiled lobster before...well it was at a restaruant so I'm not sure how they cooked it...I'm assuming it was boiled. They only time I've seen a crawfish was in my zoology class during lab...is there much meat on them?? I'm just a naive northern girl.... ....so I'm still learning! But it sounds good. Oh! I'm so sorry!!! Hugs for you, your mom, and your grandparents!!! I'm sure he'll be just fine in a short time...that is very very scary though!!! Oh, I hope he's ok!!! I'm sure he'll be fine. Drive safely!!! I bet your grandparents will be very happy to see you, especially during a holiday!!! That's awsome that your mom is going with you...I hate long drives by myself...if for no other reason than I just get so BORED sitting there by myself for so long. My parents live about 3 hours away and I really prefer just doing "day visits"...I hate the drive but I hate sleeping away from "my home" even more...my bed is AWSOME!!! The bed in my bedroom at home is different and it's just really weird sleeping there anymore. And since when does having "good personal hygeine" and skin protectants an indicator of one's sexual orientation!!! lol That doesn't prove anything! hehehe I have had a smile on my face the entire time I've been writing this!!! (except for the part about your grandpa, then the smile ducked out for a short time) Anyway, I hope you have a great trip, a safe drive, I hope your grandpa is feeling loads better, and finally I wish you and your family a very happy Easter Sunday.
