Wonderful ending to a delightfully intricate story. You gave life to some great characters and made us fall in love with them. You are an amazing writer and storyteller Addy! It was an honor to work with you on this. Thank you!
That was sweet. We do tend to jump to conclusions about things we dont really know. Nice reminder an open mind is more receptive and fun. Great vignette!
The transformation of Frank into Barry is really interesting. You're doing an awesome job of showing how he struggles with this identity thing without dramatically portraying it. I like the depression and sleeping thing. I also wonder if Dave sees other changes Barry wouldnt. Anyway, great job with this idea and concept. Awesome!
I love these guys interaction. It's like regular guys do. There isnt a load of delicate emotional nuances because thats not how they'd act. Their behavior is open, raw, and genuine. Great job Gtary!!!
What a wonderful ending to such a powerful story. I know there is an epilogue, but it does feel complete. Jonah has learned and grown. He found his center which is the best thing for a person. He's now with himself and thats something special. Awesome job Addy!!! It was an honor to be a part of it. Thank you!
Fantastic job showing those closest to us sometimes have the hardest time adjusting. Kendall is struggling with Michael's awakening. His understanding of Michael just took a jolt. Kendall knows Ace one way and then he seems to change. You displayed the awful feeling of displacement Deuce is feeling really well. That's tough to do. Wonderful portrayal of that difficult revelation!
My goodness! That was some really steamy shower! Lol! Great job with the moving toward a different place for Barry. Then, his surgery changing him to finish off the chapter was perfect. He is transitioning.
Very interesting chapter. I am surprised at how well Barry is taking everything. Maybe he's in shock but he is surprisingly calm and the therapist seems to take it in stride.
I would be freaking out! Especially about my children. My face. My entire life pattern. Perhaps this is part of his adjustment. Anyway, it is interesting and i feel like something is going to break. Or something. You have me wondering on the edge of my seat.
Trying to get caught up after vacation. Very important chapter in Barry's story and you did it well. The exploding emotions following such an event have to be sorted and dealt with. I was a bit confused with Greg and Jonathan at the beginning but it came together well. Great job and now onto the next chapter...
My brother and i made afghan forts all the time in the winter. We played camp out, war, frontier, and lots of made up scenarios. Your set up was a lovely reminder of those times. I think little Tommy is a lucky guy to have two dads who love to play along. Thanks!!!
As always, you amaze me Addy!!! What a beautiful, delicate, gutsy way to have them meet and talk about their issues. Both men are so flawed it took this to reveal their scars and weaknesses. We knew about Jonah's but now Ren's problems are also in the open. Wonderful handling of their talk. The bracelet is somehow less creepy and almost poignant as a talisman.
Fantastic journey my friend. I applaud you!!!!
Wonderful job negotiating these men into seeing the error of their ways. I think Chet is definitely a good guy who can clearly see Kendall's need for Ace. I dont understand the whole Moondoggie thing but it must be a slam of sorts. Hahaha!!!! Its nice to see the two begin to reacquaint themselves. Well done!!!
Chet certainly is a stand up guy. Kendall is being so mean to Michael. He isnt even talking to the guy. I wonder what will make him face his friend and get over his fear. I really feel for Michael. Great job Gary!!!
Okay. I made you promise to be honest so i will too. I dont know what to think about this chapter. Its very well written, touching, and emotional. Maybe almost too much so. I love the story but i have reservations about this sudden epiphany. Anyway, you are doing a great job otherwise. Onto .The next chapter.
Okay, Gary, this is riveting. I'm behind and have to catch up. But I will. This interchange and meeting is so powerful. Im at a loss what's next, in a really good way. I feel live a voyeur. This is what happens to guys who are struggling with things. I am very impressed.
