Yippee!!!! Ty is going to get his break! That's awesome. Jim seems to be turning heads a bit as a side note but it's good Ty is getting his chance to shine. Speaking of chance to shine, Neil and Liam are burning up the imagination with their cuteness. Very clever way to show how Doug's truculence is being noticed and affecting the boys. The upcoming meeting with Neil's parents is looming and emotions run high. It was a powerful discussion with Clarissa and Liam. He made a very good point and shut her down. Good. I like her but she is too starkly emotional at times. And finally, the PDA with holding hands. It was perfectly portrayed with just the right amount of emotion and reasoning. As always, fantastic stuff, Graeme! A master at work. More please!

There are times in our lives when its the best we can do. As we move out of it, we can look back and marvel at the other person we were. I'm always shocked!

Aha, I think! There's a little sympathetic pain going on I believe. Anyway, your explanation at the end told us quite a bit. While Barry is going about on his ordinary errands, things are happening. You've loaded us up with little hints, you dog! Excellent! It will be interesting to see what's next. I think it's important for writers to telegraph hints so readers get a sense of direction. Posing little questions and puzzles work too! Awesome!

I could feel the unsure discomfort and the awkwardness oozing out. It reminded me of a boy long ago who I thought I loved, but felt like that, jolty. Really well done Addy!

Wonderful chapter Graeme! I adored the scene with Liam and Neil at the beginning. Liam's mom is a hoot. Very touching scene. I like Seeing Deon and Clarissa as well. Jarrod's story picking back up is also a nice refreshing element. Of course the piece de resistance is The brat finally getting to show off his new teamwork and attitude. I will have to check out Brock McLean. I've never heard of him but that's not surprising. I learn more and more every time I read your story! Thanks for sharing.

They do appear to be a good couple. Let see, so much to digest in this chapter. There is the overall idea which seems to be everyone moving forward and getting beyond previous problems. For Dave, this involved working against Charlie without going too far.That scene was pretty indicative of the entire chapter. Liam and Neil are negotiating the terms of their dating, if not their relationship. Clarissa is watching from afar but starting to think more about her own life beyond the boys. Meanwhile, we have the team eyeing Ty and figuring out how to engage him, or not. Once again, a good plot thread showing how we carefully assess our impressions of others in order to make a decision about their worthiness. Which leads to the upcoming meeting with Neil's parents. Everyone is unsure yet somewhat open to see how the Rosewoods react to Neil. Their plan to show them how Neil is unequivocally gay, yet wants to have a relationship with them, is a good one. Having backup is probably best, not because Neil's father is going to hit anyone, but because it should give Neil the confidence to be honest. Of course, I don't know what's going to happen. Phil appears to be ruing his behavior. I doubt he's going to be physically domineering. I'm sure you'll wow us so I'm not worried. Anyway, awesome chapter Graeme. I'm obviously drinking in and relishing the story as usual. Can't wait for next week. Thanks for sharing with us.

I really enjoy reading and learning more about the correct way to use these devices. It's even better with the examples so we know why they indicate certain dialogue or thought flow patterns. That being said, I pray my feet are never held to the fire over this because I would have seriously burnt feet. I love having the awesome support from editors and beta readers who point out my dumb mistakes! lol!

There seems to be something happening in the woods by the bar and not just casual hookups I think. Rex and Barry's intuition is an interesting twist. Awesome chapter! I'm glad to see Neil and Liam giving it a chance. Both boys have grown and are becoming young men with their own minds and thoughts. Oddly enough, it seems Liam's parents aren't as ready to see that as the Rosewoods. Very interesting juxtaposition! Aren't they both about ready to graduate? Anyway, it's good to see Clarissa get a little something for helping out Liam. Deon is kind of perfectly suited for her. In a way, she reminds me a bit of...never mind. I can see what draws Deon to her. I'm not sure what you have planned next, but I'm all on board for it. Bring it on! I can't wait!

Well, the boys are back home and Michael's almost healed. The soaped remark on the truck shows how childish some people are. I'm wondering what the person believes this will accomplish? Anyway, I'm glad Michael didn't let it bother him. But, I'm wondering what it presages. Hmmm! Great job Gary.

I had a sense of permanency and solidity that looked indominable but within the edifice was a flaw. The flaw was a fear and it would take down the immovable object like a bulldozer never could. Very powerful and fascinating stuff. I loved it.
