    I don't know if I can add much, but for me I have to reread the ongoing stories to motivate me. That gets me into that mindset and I start remembering them again. It is a little embarrassing but I reread my work over and over. I fall back in love with them and can't stop thinking about them. There is my two cents. Sometimes we need to try lots of things to wake up the muse. When he falls asleep, he isn't easily awakened.

    I haven't felt so affectionate about a car but i know lots of guys who are!!!! Clark Gable is a fantastic name for him though. A love affair that seems to be just beginning. I like your writing. It's rich and poetic. I love the word play. I find myself chuckling. Well, onto more of your story!!!!

    Thanks for the comment Ghost. Just be careful with the rhetoric. Social crimes is a pretty nebulous term and accusing people of it is over the top. You are right we should care but don't use blanket indictments. That being said, my July entry is almost ready.

    Thanks Mickey. I realized after posting it was a double dose of people passing away, but it also needed to be mentioned. Brent will be the central character in the sequel. You are right about that. However, Craig and Mirabelle are part of it as well. At least a couple of characters from Voice of the Garden will be in the story. Certainly Trey makes his way into the story.

    Thanks Bryce! As the story unfolds you will find Button gets more of a voice and his parents begin to fade into the background. How parents deal with things is more impactful the younger a child is. Besides, babies arent too chatty. I appreciate the review!
